44 SWM, from WV/VA, college grad, 25+ years military experience in the guard, reserves, regular army and defense contracting with medical and intelligence occupational specialties.  Likely moving to New Mexico, in or around Taos County, west of the bridge.  I’m also a amateur radio operator, electronics technician and doing well with my preps and have been a ‘serious’ survivlist since Y2K. Friends of mine who moved west of Taos really think I should move there…so I’m looking that direction.

I would enjoy correspondence with LMI’s in that area. I’m presently in Afghanistan for awhile longer on contract.  This is a slow move.  First the house, then the move.

Looking for 3-10 acres with a house—an earthship would be nice but seem to be in short supply and the ones available are very expensive.  I need a well, septic, little zoning and freedom.   I’ll consider most types of residences and prefer in or very close to some mountains.  I really need the mountains and would like space enough for some chickens and light agriculture.  I’m fine with towns, communities and villages and can provide some very unique consultation for/when the SHTF.

FWIW, the east is diseased and finished, almost as if it collectively senses it’s coming demise and the future anarchy. It’s no good there: toxic and inhumane and the people are, well, mildly sociopathic and getting worse.  When the tax money runs low, things will become very interesting.  Not so interesting that I’m sticking around. Nope. Time to pull pitch and escape.

Small “L” libertarian.
