Pa Survival Initiative is a volunteer group that offers free classes on various survival topics. We congregate in the Armstrong county area. There is no cost involved to participate other than what materials you might need to bring. I am currently not from MN but considering a job in the St Paul/Bloomington/Richfield general area but wanted to get some feedback to a few answers.
1) From a general perspective: How is this area? How is living in MN? Politics, personal freedom, taxes, etc? What about any other aspects? Housing costs? I’m leaving the questions open ended to get as much info as possible.
2) Ok now from a prepper perspective: I pretty much know where I’m currently located (between Philly and Wilmington, DE) this will be a war zone if not worse. What are you thoughts about this general area in the event the SHTF? What are the gun laws? CCW, etc?

I’m roughly 40 miles east of Raleigh. Would like to meet or chat with folks interested in cost saving “group” puchases, idea exchanges, possible mutual assistance. There are several areas of knowledge I’d like to receive some assistance with, mainly Ham radio, small scale farming, and paramedic level first aid. I’m very knowledgeable about firearms, small unit tactics, law enforcement procedures, gunsmithing and unarmed combat. Would like to exchange skills as barter. I’m not looking for a training school. Just like minded folks that have the knowledge I need and need the knowledge I have.
