I’ve spent most of the evening searching for people in our area but there doesn’t seem to be very many.  We’re located in the Rexford/Eureka area and would like to meet some like minded people who might be interested in the same.   Most people would consider use a normal but definitely lending to the right.  Politically we think the country is headed in the wrong direction and if things don’t change drastically we could be in for hard times.  In some ways we’ve always have been survivalist and believed in being prepared; hoping for the best but being ready for the worst.  One of the key parts of this is having friends and allies.  So we would be interested in meeting and getting to know other people in our area.

Still looking for a Group to join. I am a Marine and IT Professional and been in Public Service for the past 30 years. It’s been very difficult to locate a Preppers Team in NVa without having to deal with their political points of view and ignorant biases towards other groups of Human Beings that they do not know personally. Also, some people seem to think that if they have a house full of firearms that somehow means that they know how-when-why should lethal force be used – the mentally ill – leads to fear and causes harm to innocent people.

I have real world experience; when I was a much younger man I carried an M-16 for our great country and witnessed such behavior in the streets of Panama during the 80′s.

However, I am still hopeful that out there somewhere there are still people I could march ahead with that would provide good morals, American values and safety to my Family should I fall trying to get them to the other side of the transition coming.

If anyone believes I can locate such a group – strong willed women-mothers or would-be, strong willed men-fathers or would-be, educated people. I am trying to locate a like-minded group to join that have the fore mentioned characteristics and are trained to know when to fight, know the tactics of how, why and when to stand your ground.

We live in Lawrenceville: I’m a fit 51 yr with knowledge in horticulture,landscape design,MMA ,have CWP,and builder of underground structures using recycled materials.(I have a endless supply stream of materials) .But importantly looking for a postive & professional thinking group thats ready take on the unknown that lies ahead of us.

I also have two children 18 &23 ,plus a girlfriend who wants to learn more .

On March 8th 2012 I made my first post on this site. I remember having difficulty understanding this site and how to check replies. Please accept my apologizes if I did not respond to you.

I am very open about my prepping and do not fear repercussions from anyone by voicing my desire to prepare myself for unknown possibilities.

The original post was to find like minded people in my area to work together. A group of armed individuals with a fortress of fences and gates is not in my plans although I do own secluded property in the Ozark mountains I did not buy it for a life of wilderness seclusion. I fell that it is not necessary to go to those extremes.

I am concerned about civil unrest and I plan to survive in the safety of my home. Many think these is not possible and I say ” How do you know? ”
