Hi there.
I am a husband and father in central Missouri. We have been preparing with another (large) family for over a year now and would like to meet, and or help, like minded people in the central Missouri area. My wife has a degree in education and I have a degree in English/Philosophy as well as a degree in auto mechanics. While we have been preparing with the usual items, I have also been stockpiling books. TONS of books in electronic formats so they can be brought with us with a minimum of space.
I have always been a fan of the motto “knowledge is power” and I believe knowledge is the key to success whether it be in survival or life.
Our small prepping group also has a motto “The more the merrier”. We are always looking for people who want to prep on their own but meet up with us in the event it becomes necessary. There is a large amount of land we have available in case of emergency that has running water and an artesian well. Our group believes in preparing separately so there is a better chance most supplies will make it to our safe area. The land has a plethora of wildlife for hunting and plenty of open space as well as wooded cover.
Regardless if you would like to get to know us online and then in person, or if you are interested in sharing knowledge and ideas, I would like to hear from you.

I propose the formation of a New Underground Railroad to assist in the transport of supplies, messages and personnel in a low to no tech fashion from one point to another with only a handful of people knowing all the routes to keep it very OpSec. A retreat (prepper) or camp (militia) is under no provisions to do this for free, however they will be responsible for manning a way station for incoming conductors, and assorted Railroad personages.

Draft Proposal to the formation of a New Underground Railroad
Terms
Rail Barons – Rail Barons are people entrusted with the knowledge of all the Railroad.
Rail Masters – Rail Masters are required to keep accuate maps of the region and current station masters
Station Master – Station Masters are required to check their waypoints and ensure than any items at thier waypoint are taken care of
Conductors – Leaders of the Railways, they work to ensure that items are conducted from waypoint to waypoint in a safe and effective manner
Enforcers – partol the Railways looking for any dangers on the Railways
Stockholders – people or groups that provide support to the Railroad
Facemen – people or groups that assist and vet people looking for Waypoints and also to locate and aquire personel to help with the Railroad
Railways – the path(s) between the Waypoints
Waypoint – a location in which a station master checks to see if supplies, commucations or personel are at and require thier serivces to the next waypoint. Any services the station master provides can be free or at cost, the rail masters have no control over the costs. Waypoints will be secure locations away from any retreats or camps
Items – Persons, Messages and Supplies
Purpose – to provdie transportation and commuciation services from waypoint to waypoint in case of partial or total inferstructure colleaspe.
All Railroad personel will be interviewed and initallity vetted by the Facemen, once working for the Railroad personel will be subject to perodic reviews upper Railroad staff.
People looking for a Waystation with be encourged to seek out Facemen and using common code words or signs (TBD) to indicate they wish to use the Railroad or have a message to pass on the Railroad.

I have extensive background in gardening and horticulture.. My family , including both sets of grandparents owned and operated greenhouses and hatcheries for more than 40 years.. Good day folks,
I notice for the Louisiana area there are a lot of folks down here that are somewhat new to the whole emergency preparedness game. I noticed a lot of families and like minded folks who desperately need to prepare for your families and babies, but just might not know how to go about it and how to be cost effective and what gear works. So I purpose that we have a meeting somewhere in south Louisiana. When I lived up in Midwest, I would meet up with people every month, then there was a convention annually. At this meeting we could talk about the importance of emergncy preparedness, how to for beginners, possible retreat locations, and skills that could be of importance. Lets leave this discussion open. Lets choose a Saturday and at a public area such as a cafe or restaurant where we could have a coffee or something. Please folks we all know the world is in a bottle neck, is going to hell, and that history repeats itself. Please respond to this post.

The feedback from our May 19th 1st Annual Arizona Survivalist Show was such a huge success, and the request from the attendees for another, prompted us take the events on the road, in order to benefit the other parts of this great state. And Tucson was a very logical decision. We understand there is a growing and vibrant number of “preppers” in Tucson, not too mention the outlying areas.
This event is being co-hosted with TEMPLAR PREPAREDNESS CONSULTING in Tucson, and Mike Griebel, owner/operator is very excited to present this event to those participating in the “survivalist/prepper” movement in the Southern half of Arizona. Mike, a Tucson Firefighter/EMT also offers first aid seminars to various groups in the Tucson area, and understands the pulse of the movement in that area, which is growing rapidly.
General input from out vendors at the Mesa event, seemed to indicate that of the estimated 1600 attendees, only 1/2 had any food, water, or supplies prepared. The other 1/2 were there based on curiousity, or were growing concerned that they should start doing something. Hence, the mini-seminars we put on were a huge success, with as many as 60+ people listening to each speaker.
Vendors from the Mesa show have overwhelmingly committed to Tucson, and many are bringing some well learned lesson with them — such as attendees wanted more water purification products, solar was a HOT item (selling that is), and folks wanted informative take-aways, such as tips or idea sheets.

Hello, I am new to all prepping but I do have a lot of hunting, shooting roughing it camping and critical thinking. Personally I’m surprised I haven’t found this site a long, long time ago. I am a huge news junkie but I do not trust the MSM and public news outlets. I feel in my
gut that things are not going to be as they once were in the very near future and would like to group up with like-minded thinkers located close to Oakland, Michigan. If you have a group already started and are looking for a single 47-year-old male to be a part of your group.

I am an extremely educated person with insight and information on exactly what’s going to happen. I am relocating to NH to gather my children (2) and mother. In the beginning of august is when flooding/earthquakes will start and the financial collapse of our economy. So that mark is the beginning of the 6 months this whole shift will happen. I won’t get into all the details here however i am seeking other peppers’ with land we can dig a shelter in. Yes dig, too many homes have windows and will let in the gamma radiation that the sun will produce. After viewing the magnetic poles and the weakening of the electromagnetic shield that protects us they will come down for up to 3-4 weeks. During that time we will have to stay underground. I am not telling people that to scare them but to inform them as to what will happen. A lot of things are coming onto place that the government does not want you to know and i have had the privilege to spend hundreds of hours seeking the truth. I will bring as much documentation as i can. I am only in need of a small community that is like minded in saving our asses from what’s about to come. Please no religious nuts, racist, or negative people please, but if you are spiritually aware that’s good (like aware that we all have a common bond). What i bring to the group other than the knowledge of what’s to upturn is the basis of radiant free energy, solid state energy, and whatever else to produce electricity after the grid goes down. i am a bit of a huntsman/woodsman survivalist, can fix almost anything that can break, aware of how to purify water, and know what supplies are essential to us to thrive as a group. If anyone out there knows that all hell is about to break loose and this message finds its way to your heart, please be human and out of the love that god made us all from help us protect and teach each other. I will be moving to NH by mid-late July and will work endlessly to secure the future of our human race. Let’s stop looking at everyone else has and look inward to what we have in ourselves.

Potential situation: We have a friend in his mid-30′s who has a 60 acre farm here in the U.P. He has dairy goats, garden, etc. in a rural location near Crystal Falls. He is (all of a sudden) by himself, and doesn’t want to lose his farm.
I’m on here looking for a married couple who may be desirous of a bug out location, and are willing to pay a little rent and a little sweat to help out around this place. I have spoken to many folks over the years who were in the city and wanted to get out to the sticks, but weren’t able to afford buying a 2nd home in the country (who is?). Maybe this may work for a sincere person in this trap.
There are NUMEROUS qualifications that must be met. Some are:
Must be a practicing Christian (Yes, there is a litimus test).
Must be healthy and hard working.
Be a Prepper and wanting to be ready for when TSHTF.
No deadbeats, druggies, or people running away from something.
I don’t know if we will find the right people/situation here, or not. But, I’m trying to help this brother. He is a really good, hard working person, and he may be able to be a blessing to the right people, and they can do the same in return.

Hello, I have been prepping (as I have been able) since 2009. I am 32, work full time, married since 2005, 2 daughters (2 & 5), and a great dog 
I am a Christian man, not really religous per se, but I fear God and believe the Bible. I don’t drink or smoke. Just mainly work and take care of my family. My prepping needs alot of work, but I am very committed to the process. I am looking for like minded people. I am not thinking anything radical like anti government stuff, I just want to be able to take care of my family when hard times come. I am white, wife is black. Race doesn’t matter to me. I live in NW Florida (Walton County). I am looking to join or help start an informal prepper resource group in this part of Florida. The unique aspect about preppers is that we all stockpile different provisions, from guns, ammo, dry food, homesteading equipment/systems, silver/gold, seeds, etc. When we all meet up, we can strengthen each other barter or trade. Feel free to respond on this thread, and private arrangements can be made to meet face to face if that is determined what needs to happen.
