Last week we had a gentleman at our meetup who went by butch. I have tried to email you and everything comes back as non-deliverable. If you are on this site please email me at andersonpreppergroup [at] yahoo [dot] com. I will be asking questions to ensure I am talking to the right person. Thanks.
Hello All,
My wife and I have been prepping for a few years, we have two kids and are very set up for self reliance here. However, we are looking for a “Plan B” as in bug out location if there are any groups looking for some individuals we would be happy to hear from you. I am working on my own solution as it seems that most people on here say hello and exchange an email but then not really follow up. How unfortunate, we are not here to waste your time, only to make the best of the time that’s left before this economy crumbles.
Best Regards,
Junkmale1006 [at] aol [dot] com

Ok I am looking for a group of preppers on Long Island. Back in the 80′s I had a job looking into what would happen in case of either nuclear war or a power plant melt down. The planning had to do with keeping the communication system going and to protect upper management. At that time was to many Goverment meetings. Even been inside of half the Nuke plants in NY including Shoeham. With that said have thought long and hard on problem of Long Island’s being a Island. There are not to many options. Willing to discuss them.
New prepper in Southern NH, Nashua area. Looking for others to share ideas and talk about prepping with. Have a couple other people in Mass in my small, fledgling group. Look forward to hearing from others.
Hello all,
I’m looking to join a group in South Carolina/North Carolina (near or closer to North Myrtle Beach/Little River area). I have posted before and have had alot of responses mostly people with electronic questions (which is fine I don’t mind helping others with electronics) but nothing has ever come from the responses so here I am posting again.
I’m a electronic engineer (2 Master degrees from MIT) with extensive knowledge in wind, water and solar renewable energy as well wood gasification energy. My trade specialty is in military grade electronics (communications, lethal and non lethal electronic weaponry, tracking/anti-tracking devices, electronic security devices and thermal/IR equipment).
I have been studying other skills like aquaponics, rain water tanks/storage systems and I just started to learn how to can food for storage. I have plenty of hands on firearm training from Uncle Sam and military first aid training. I am looking for a established/semi established group that has land or is currently looking at land. I understand there is no free ride and everyone must do their part so if you’re looking for a smart guy for your group I’m your man.
(note: I am not or have ever been enlisted in any armed forces. I am a engineer that works with the military as a electronic engineering subcontractor)
Side note: I have enough solar equipment to power a small city (talking megajoules for you solar guys) and enough electronic security equipment that would put a prison to shame
email me at Nicknsc (AT) yahoo {dot} com
Hi,
Looking for people inerested in sharing ideas, training, what works what doesn’t. Like minded people who prep for any unforseen circumstances, for example, hurricanes, power outages or anything else. I am in Escambia County. Was here for Ivan and Dennis, learned a lot from those two. I am retired military, water survival instructor.
Have been slowly prepping, but probably too slowly for what may be coming.
I’m 53, fit and single. I don’t mean to toot my horn but I can work most 20 year olds into the ground. I’m honest, hard working and I’m not looking for a free ride. Most of what I bring to the table is my work ethic and moral standards. My education and current career is in electronics but I also have experience in building including electrical, basic carpentry and even some plumbing. I’m ex-military with many years of experience in security both armed and unarmed. I also have a good knowledge of alternative and renewable power sources. My past certifications have included EMT-A, Lifeguard and Personal Trainer. I was formally with a group in Michigan that turned overly militaristic. It’s critical to be prepared to defend yourself in fact I recommend being “loaded for bear” but all things need to be kept in perspective and in balance. You can understand why I might be a little cautious about joining the next group. I’m currently looking for a group of like minded folks with high moral standards not necessarily of any particular religion but good people with good old school values.
Thank you,
Gregg
My husband and I moved here away from all of our like-minded friends 2 years ago due to a job transfer. We are in our mid 40s and are one and only is grown working on her own but still in the nest.We as well as most in the area got a little taste of what life could be like quick during the tornadoes last year….We are not much into AR s or having an artillery here but we will do what ever it takes to defend our right to have a firearm to protect ourself and hunt if needed…..
I work from home and I would love to have someone who I could talk about canning and gardening…..share coupons and call up when I find a banging sale…..I would like for my husband to have another man to talk tools and things with as well….
I do believe in God but I am not about to stuff my ideas down anyone throat I feel we each have our own relationship with him in our own way but I am a Christian but not the kind a non-Christian could not stand to be around.
My goal is to stock up a years supply of necessities in order to take the stress off my family if something was to happen….We had much rather buy a case of corn than go to the movies…..I have chickens and love to garden…..
I come from a farm way down South Alabama so I have a great deal of knowledge in that area…..I know a bit about horses….chickens….rabbits….and am more than happy to learn something new as well in any of those areas….
I would like to find a couple or two that are not extremist but realist…..that wants to prepare and stay informed just to have the best foot forward possible in the event anything happen…. maybe we can all get together every few weeks and maybe do a pot luck at each others house and talk about things…..it would be nice to not feel so alone….if you have a super cool AR do not think you can not apply as long as you let me pop some watermelons with it…..just saying for us….we just do not at this time feel it is necessary in OUR preps…that is a personal thing for each family to decide what is right for your family to prepare for.

There is a really super weekend (August 3-5, 2012) coming up for women only that will be held at the Holiday Lake 4-H Center near Appomattox, Virginia. It is a non-profit event and the funds go toward helping to offset the costs for the kids attending 4-H camp. All the meals are included … and if you don’t gain weight here, you aren’t trying. They have home cooked, buffet style meals Friday night through Sunday noon. The camp has a beautiful lake and cabins for your lodging. You get to pick three classes which are 4 hours each and run Sat. morning, Sat. afternoon and Sun. morning. On Saturday night you can choose to participate in a Night Hike or Nature Crafts.

The main objectives of this group is:
- Advancment of the art and skill of prepping

The group has only 3 rules, no religion, politics or business hocking in general group. Meaning in private if you want to discuss that with others that is fine.

Hello All,
I would like to meet anyone from Southern RI who wants to share ideas and resources.
No extremists please.
I am a professional looking to find cost savings ideas to prepare for emergency situations. Email me.
Several good, honest, well prepared, skilled, middle aged plus, easy going, straight men, are searching for friendly group of self sufficient, self reliant folks to join with and help prepare for whatever comes down the road. We are not rules and regulations oriented, not militaristic, but we do know the value of being able to defend the homestead. We are hard working as far as gardening, construction, small live stock, alternative energy, solar cooking and heating, and general do it yourself jacks of most trades. We also enjoy time for fun. Preparing is not all about work.
We seek a small group with about 10+ acres of farm and forested land. A source of year round water is desired. Spots for RVs would be ideal to start.
We are looking for you. You know that we all need to be prepared for the worst case scenario. Whatever that is. We can help. Let’s start an email dialog to get to know each other.
Group in North East Colo. looking for others to join us. We are 3 families of 10 people. 99% preppared. If you are preppers looking to get to a safe place..contact us and we will talk…
Hi,
I’m a prepper in Darwin NT, I’ve been interested in this life for the past couple of years and have recently ramped up my efforts. I’m looking to find people in NT to share knowledge and ideas with.
I’m prepping for everything from a local and short term problem to a global, multigenerational collapse. At the moment I’m nowhere near ready for the latter, but my small group and I are working on improving and getting ready. Over time I’m hoping to add members to my existing group (consisting of two preppers, plus the family of one of the members, and an informal arrangement with two others) when I/we meet people who can add value and whom we get along with.
If you’re a prepper in Victoria and would like to talk more please shoot me an email – jcitizen42 [at] gmail [dot] com
Looking for making new friends in the local area. I have been a prepper for awhile and know that defence and security is a big issue for us all.

this is not for couch preppers, we meet and camp/train often
I would like to meet fellow preppers in the Midland-Odessa area. My main objective at this time is discussing options on supplies and maybe finding a group of like-minded people to work together. I am just starting out with purchasing supplies and I am concerned with wasting money on questionable products or unnecessary supplies. For now, I would like to find people to bounce ideas off of. I work a lot and would prefer sitting down on Saturdays, but I can arrange my schedule to accommodate a groups. I look forward to hearing from you.
