I am a 40 year old married father of four from Western Massachusetts. I have been a registered nurse for 14 years and hope to increase my medical/nursing knowledge to be of assistance to my family, friends, and community if an emergency event occurs. I am new to prepping but feel I owe it to my family to keep them safe if the SHTF, so I am making a plan to initially prepare for a 3 day emergency (after I reach this goal, I will try for 1 week, a month and so on)

I am interested in meeting individuals and groups in Western MA and New England.  I am new to prepping but want to be able to keep my family safe if any kind of emergency situation were to take place.  I’ve been a registered nurse for 14 years with a variety of experience – a few months of OR experience,  worked on an orthopaedic unit, and 7 years on a surgical unit with an intermediate care unit for trauma & neuro patients, and currently in a management position.  I hope to meet some cool, informative, and sane individuals that might be interested in working together or just assist me as I develop an initial plan to start prepping.
