Fairly new to prepping, I have been interested in it for about 6 months. After many thorough discussions, my husband and I have decided we are serious about prepping. We have planted a large garden, and I am learning to can and dehydrate what we grow. We have started collecting food stores, books on basic skills and defensive firearms. We recently have started looking for some land to buy so we can build a self-sufficient earth berm home and are considering a bunker. We would very much like to join with other like-minded individuals and be a part of a prepping community, that is why I joined this site. We live in Clinton Township, MI, which is a northern suburb of Detroit, in Macomb County. I am looking for a local prepping organization to join.
