We are a husband and wife team with one child. We have been prepping for about a year. Wife does not completely agree with my thinking at times but does agree to prepping (on the lighter side) and is ok with me prepping for the worst. We have recently moved from a suburb location in the Austin, TX area to a very secluded area east of Austin onto 22 plus acres just to be in a safer location and we have wanted to get back to the country for a long time. This is our new retreat and will bug-in during or when any SHTF scenario. We both grew up in the country so it is like second nature living at our new home. We are looking for another family or two or possibly individuals who have training or experience in areas we do not (list to follow). We have agreed that we would be much safer with more members for protection of our retreat when the time comes. Please note due to the nature of prepping and of course not wanting to compromise our efforts or location we are very private and would of course require the same in anyone who joins our group. We bring to the table a long time experience in construction, long time knowledge of firearms, firearms proficiency, some gardening and small animal care experience, and one that will only be disclosed once we start communications (due to the possibility of giving our identity away in our area; I did say we are very private, right) . The last item is more of an access type thing and not a skill. Skills needed (at least one): • Medical • Military background (security, firearms, etc) • HAM Radio • Welding/ metallurgy • Others skills will be considered
