Gideon

I am 27 years old and just getting into the prepper mindset. I got turned onto the idea from a video game I played while I was down range in Kuwait during my first tour in the sandbox. I served 6 years active duty USAF as a cop doing everything from law enforcement and gate guard to nuclear response force and convoys. I have 2 Associate Degrees, one in Criminal Justice and one in Athletic Training. My fiancé is planning to head to Basic training for the USAF this summer and we plan to be married before she leaves. I can provide for the 2 of use for only about a month right now food wise, but I am working to remedy that. I have been working on respectable bug out bags first, long term stock up is starting now. I have good marksman skills and I am actively working to improve them further as well as train my fiancé as well. I am here looking more for advice than anything else. Eventually I would like to find a good group for TEOTWAWKI but because of her locational uncertainty right now, I am just trying to focus on prioritizing my lists for mobility so when we move to her first duty station we can take all our supplies with us. I just read Rawles book 'How to Survive TEOTWAWKI' and it has really given me a lot of ideas I wouldn't have thought about. I would really like to find somebody local right now to discuss priority items as well as developing skills such as welding and survival.
