Potential situation: We have a friend in his mid-30′s who has a 60 acre farm here in the U.P. He has dairy goats, garden, etc. in a rural location near Crystal Falls. He is (all of a sudden) by himself, and doesn’t want to lose his farm.

I’m on here looking for a married couple who may be desirous of a bug out location, and are willing to pay a little rent and a little sweat to help out around this place. I have spoken to many folks over the years who were in the city and wanted to get out to the sticks, but weren’t able to afford buying a 2nd home in the country (who is?). Maybe this may work for a sincere person in this trap.

There are NUMEROUS qualifications that must be met. Some are:
Must be a practicing Christian (Yes, there is a litimus test).
Must be healthy and hard working.
Be a Prepper and wanting to be ready for when TSHTF.
No deadbeats, druggies, or people running away from something.

I don’t know if we will find the right people/situation here, or not. But, I’m trying to help this brother. He is a really good, hard working person, and he may be able to be a blessing to the right people, and they can do the same in return.

Potential Bug Out Situation for the Right People

Dear Friends and Fellow Preppers,

I’ve posted on here before that I think the U.P. of Michigan is one of the best bug out locales around. But, I’m prejudiced, as I live here. I certainly realize that everyone has their own ideas. But, believe me…..we’ll find out soon! I wish the best for everyone. God Bless you All!

But, regardless of whether I’m right, wrong, or somewhere in-between, I have a situation that I may be offering up for some special peoples’ attention. We already have a community in place. It’s several families in a small neighborhood out in the boonies working towards self sufficiency and our own micro-economy. We are looking for like minded people to join us. What’s new?

I’ll be very specific here, as I truly believe it’s better to be up front and truthful. It’s one of the things I like about this web site. People who post on here will put exactly what they are or aren’t looking for, and that’s great! I know there is somebody out there who is looking for this type of situation. But, because it involves being here on my property, I’ll be even more specific, and just plain blunt. I hope it’s appreciated. And, if the “shoe doesn’t fit”, then God Bless You, and I hope you find what you are looking for. One size certainly does not fit all. By the way, I’m not advertizing real estate in our area, although there are places to buy here. This is basically a freebie (for the right person – see below).

I’m thinking of having a healthy, hardworking Christian couple, or small family move onto my property (basically for free) with the caveat being that they agree to help out around the place. They could put a travel trailer on my property, live here free, but agree to work on this farm 6 days a week. We raise dairy goats, chickens, organic garden, etc. Experience is good, but not necessary – I’ll teach you. Here’s the deal: My wife and I live here alone and are happy, healthy, and are over 50. There are others in the neighborhood, but we are looking for help specifically on our place. There is much to do, and I’m not sure how much time we have left. So, here are some qualifications to consider:

We are Christians. Actually, we are what is sometimes called “Messianic” although I don’t like the name tag thing. But I note this because we are looking for others like ourselves. We work 6 days a week, and our Sabbath begins Friday evening at sundown. If you are a Sunday Christian, that’s perfectly fine. We love you, and respect you, but you wouldn’t fit in here. We keep the Biblical Holy Days (Passover, Unleavened Bread, etc.). We don’t do Christmas trees and Easter eggs. Once again, if you do, that’s fine…..I’m just saying up front that we don’t. We don’t eat unclean meats. We aren’t expecting to be raptured away any time soon. We sincerely believe that we are at the doorway to the Great Tribulation, and plan on never selling out our faith. We will not deny the Lord Jesus Christ, even if it means our lives. We do not believe there is a political solution for this country, as the problem (we believe) isn’t political, but spiritual. So, if you are a “conservative Christian” that believes we just need more Republicans in office, that’s fine. That’s not where we’re coming from, though. We believe in standing against tyranny and are armed and will defend our property and our families. So, we have what you may call a neighborhood “covenant militia”. In essence, we have each others backs. Some may disagree with this, and plan to just pray against the troops coming up there driveway. I understand this mindset – they’ll end up in a FEMA camp, and it’s not going to be as romantic as they thought. I’ll be praying, too (as I’m reloading).

I say all this not to spout off, or express my views. But, instead to be very specific as to who we’re looking for. If this is not your cup of tea, that’s perfectly fine. I’m sure there’s a situation out there that is just right for your famnily, it’s just not this one. I don’t want to debate any of this. It’s far too late for that.

So, we need help around here. Somebody may be looking for a place out in the boonies. 2 + 2 = 4!!! Take care, and may God Bless You ALL!

Well, I’ve blabbed enough about how I think the U.P. of Michigan is the place to be. As of this past week, the place next door to us is up for sale. It would be best suited for a Single person, or a Couple, and not a large family. It is 10 acres of land amidst a group of “never sell out” Christian Patriots. On the land sits a 30 ft. travel trailer parked under a carport. It has well, septic, etc., and has been used as a recreational property. It’s ready to move into, and won’t last long at 40K. Actually, it’s not even on the market yet. The owner told me about it, and I asked him to hold off listing it. I’m hoping to get some like-minded folks to get it, and come join us. Christian Couple Wanted to Join Our Community

Hello, Looking for a Christian couple that is looking for a group to join. We have a community of Patriot/Christian folks in the U.P. of Michigan. We are located half-way between Iron Mtn. and Crystal Falls (out in the boonies) near the Wisconsin border. We are “into” prepping and refusing to go along with the Beast system at all costs. We are creating our own micro-economy out here, and are involved in homesteading, guns gold, and God.

My buddy lives up the road, and has a small, single-wide mobile home that is vacant. It is somewhat of a “fixer-upper”, so being a hard working self starter is a must. There wouldn’t necessarily be “rent” to pay, but the couple would be expected to help out with chores, and participate in helping out (sweat equity).

Are you in a situation where you’d like to “bug out” but don’t have the $ to purchase a place? Are you a mature Christian, who will never sell out? Are you willing to “pay your way” by putting in a little hard work? If so, you need to prayerfully consider contacting us. We’re nothing fancy, but are very committed to survival (physically and spiritually).

Dear Friends,

This upcoming weekend (June 4-6) will be very special. A gathering of Patriots in the U.P. of Michigan will occur, and we’d love to have you join us. Beginning Friday evening we will be having a camp that includes training, fellowship, etc. Bro. Greg Evensen is an ex-Green Beret Officer, and career Law Enforcement Officer, and really knows his stuff. I help out as well, focusing on homesteading and self sufficient living. Our main theme: HAVE A PLAN!

I wanted to post this on here, even though the hour is late. We just had a few openings created, as some folks from far away called, and said they couldn’t make it. If you are in the MidWest, and can get away, I encourage you to join us. You may end up staying here! Last year, a brother attended a Camp, and moved here. So, we’re developing our own little community out here in the boonies, as well. A neighborhood of self sufficient, like minded Patriots!

U.P. of Michigan: Land of Milk & Honey

Hi Everyone!

We would like to sing the praises of the beautiful and pristine Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We’ve been here for 10 years now, and couldn’t be happier. We are homesteaders, and this is a great place to be for people like us. We carved a small farm out of these gorgeous and bountiful north woods, and believe that we are situated as good as we can be with end times approaching.

Here at Firstfruits Farm, we raise Oberhasli dairy goats. They are known for their sweet, mild tasting milk and their calm, friendly temperament. I’m a former President of the Oberhasli Breeders of America, so I’m a bit prejudiced. Our area is also home to lotsa high quality alfalfa hay at low prices, which makes this the perfect place to raise these Swiss beauties.

We also have laying hens, guineas (for all natural tick control), and are into growing nutrient dense food as well with only heirloom seeds (Lev. 19:19). Our property is loaded with wild raspberries, leeks, and other naturally grown goodies. We are all about trying to learn how to live off the land, and be as self sufficient as possible. Whitetail deer, turkeys, and other wildlife abound. There’s great fishing all around us within walking distance.

There is a growing community of us in our little neck of the woods, located about half-way between Iron Mtn. and Crystal Falls. Greg Evensen, a prominent Christian/Patriot leader lives right around the corner from us. We conduct training camps in the summer, and you’re all invited. We’ve had people attend, and then not want to leave, and buy a place here in our neighborhood.

Speaking of which…..there are several nice homesteads available all around us right now. Nice homestead in the country, clean air and water, low population density, and surrounded by like minded folks….what could be better?!?!

So, feel free to give me a shout, and let’s talk. We just started our bee hives, a new endeavor for us. We will now be like the land of Milk & Honey! I sincerely believe that our spot out here is a potential “City of Refuge” for folks who “just say no” to the Beast System. We’ve got each other’s back, if you know what I mean.
