I’m a writer and graduate student based in Laramie, Wyoming, working on an essay about the modern survivalist movement and motivations for preparing for the future. I’m looking for preppers (both in the Mountain West and farther afield) to interview by phone, email, or in person about your lifestyle choices, your motivations, and your thoughts about the future.

I’ve worked as a reporter and freelance journalist before, and am a serious, fair-minded writer. I’m eager to hear your stories. I’m also open to changing names and omitting identifying details about locations if you’re concerned about privacy.
