Hi i am starting to prep of for anythink that would make a loss of food and water within the shops. I can collect all the food and water that my storeage can hold. Is there anythink else that i should be looking at and is there a must on the list to have.

Is there any othere people/groups in the nottingham area

[UPDATE] I have noticed that there is not much activity on this site especially in the UK area. It would be good to get talking and exchanging different thoughts and ideas.

Hi there im a new member in the UK , i started to prep at the start of the summer , what started me was watching a vid on a run on a supermarkent in an USA town when just a rummor went round that there was something wrong with the water , it turned out there was nothing wrong with the water but the panic that insued rang a bell with me so i started with buying water to store . We as a nation do panic buy , a couple of months ago there was a scare that the petrol suppy was about to be disrupted and people started to que round the block to fill their tanks. Im close to London and looking to make contact with other preppers in the UK . many thanks Zulu

I totaly agree with meeting people close to you, see what there doing and what not. But everyone believes what they want to believe. But people need to meet on this site from all over. Comment on peoples posts talk to each other. Because in this day and age with all the travel we do for fun and work, we never know where we will be when anything happens. So knowing more people like us only helps all of us in the long run. Thats my thoughts!!

Hi I’m a completely new prepper, tbh I’ve never thought about it before now! It’s not really the ‘done thing’ over here and if I mentioned it to anyone they’d lock me up and get me medial help before they’d support me.   Its actually quite nice toa find this forum and see all the like minded people here.   Would be really great if I could get in touch with someone from England so I’m not totally on my own!  I’ve only just started collecting food, I’m applyingfor my shotgun licence on Monday and taking lesson, after that will hopefully come my rifle and archery.  Really just in my infancy stages at the moment!
