Hello all.

I woke up in 2011. Was (and still am) shocked by all that I see when I really started to look. And to Listen.

I am in the middle of 4 (FOUR!) reactor sites and really too close to cities :) So, I’d like to move.
I would be a great neighbor, for someone :)

I’m interested in starting or joining a prepper-education group around Exton, PA.

I am Not looking for a militia to join.

Just some folks, middle-age-ish who are like-minders; to figure out the best things to have in place for when the shtf.

NOTE: I am not interested in the offers to pay money to have a place to bug out too.

You know the ones.  All you need to pay is $25k and we’ll GUARANTEE you a place in the bunker/acreage/other safe sounding thing; blah, blah, blah.

However, I might want to start one in PA :)

Thanks

~Prep

Hello,

We live in upstate NY ( Adirondacks ) we are what you would probably consider beginner preppers, but are very serious about it and caring for our family. With all the changes and concerns these last few years especially more recently we believe we are in a safe area. Anyone have any input or thoughts on best places to raise a family in upstate NY keeping in mind all that is important to maintain ourselves raise a family and god forbid SHTF protect and survive. Any other ppl like minded in upstate NY? Also another delema, due to family we may have to contemplate moving away PA NY border…… My concern is that the best move for our family what if things get worse. Are there areas there with ppl like minded. Anyone with input or opinions? Anything is better than nothing. As I am new to this site please be patient with me. Thank you in advance and have a wonderful day!!

Hi, My name is Renee. I am a 24 female nursing student. I live in Louisiana.I have 2 sons. I am new to prepping and knowing that anything can happen is what helped me decide to start prepping.  So, like any parent I would like to have a safe place for my family just in case SHTF.

I am looking to start a prepping group/community. I would like to have a large mixed group of open minded people from all walks of life.  Your race, age, religion, material status, family size or where you live will not matter. As long as you can offer a skill or two you will be welcome. and for those who don’t have skills you must be willing to learn. I would require a background check from your local sheriffs office, I’m not trying to get all in your business. I’m just trying to make sure everyone would be safe.  If you would like to explain anything you will get a chance to do so.

I would like to buy some land to build a bug out community. i am currently designing an above ground community and an underground retreat. I have started looking at some land in the Midwest states. I figured that would be the safest place in any SHTF scenario. I do like the land in Missouri.

If you are looking to join and you have land and you would like it to be used let me know.

I know most people don’t want a large group for various reasons. I figure we are all adults and are we are all trying to do the same thing ( have a safe place). so why not work together. It would hurt to have a lot of skills in one group. Plus if we did have to go underground we would need a lot of different people for social reasons.

So if you are interested in this, email me at ladavianw [at] icloud [dot] com

hello. I go by stetler.  I served in the Army as an Infantryman.  I deployed to Iraq in 2010. I was part of a Stryker combat team in kirkuk. the last half of my deployment my unit was tasked with training iraqi soldiers in basic combat drills and an assortment of other things.   I have a wide variety of skills acquired through my time in the service. infantryman basic and advanced  tasks and skills,  map reading and land navigation ,  first aid and combat life savers training, weapons,  fighting vehicles,  military equipment,  etc. just look up the Infantrymans handbook if u want an idea.   I could talk all day about military grunt stuff. it’s one of my passions and I would love to interact/build relationships with a like minded group.  I’m currently living in Lancaster pa.  I work full time and have been saving to eventually get my own land.  times being the way they are its hard to save much at minimum wage.  however I have accumulated a fair amount of tactical equipment,  weapons,  construction tools, hunting gear, traps,  survival gear etc. on top of my military experience,  I have a decent amount of construction and mechanical experience.  I also took a lot of agriculture classes in highschool that taught me horticulture,  animal husbandry and basic veterinary applications,  composting,  hydroponics,  etc. I’ve been a hunter,  trappers, fisherman all my life.  I’m a true woodsman.   I love the land, I love the GOOD people that walk it. I would very much like to join a community that shares my beliefs.  if you have or know of a community in Pennsylvania that would welcome me, I would appreciate it greatly.

I’m building a full Prepper community, I have land in the Hanover county area of New Hampshire about 25-30 acres with a well, as well as several dead drop locations on the eastern coast of the US available goal is to make room for between 75-100 people a group that will not only survive but thrive. project will take a few years and stages including group training. this is an invitation extended towards existing prepper groups and individuals alike. About me I am young just 23 my wife 19 and we have 2 kids. I can cook as a trade I am also no stranger to combat and I can use a firearm at an intermediate level and a blade at an expert level. Though with some exception I’m self trained in Firearms, Hunting, Explosives, Trapping, and Smelting. Weapon knowledge includes most strike fire pistols and rifles including automatics, pump and break action shotguns, katana, cutlass, bastard sword, hand and half swords, kopis, gladius, kukri, machetes, most knives, short staff, BO staff, spear, knuckles, and tomahawk and am still learning more weapons and skills.

One thing I’ve learned is numbers are essential so I’m trying to do what i can to pull resources and like minded preppers to aid each other in prepping a safely secured self sufficient community.

What I’m looking for.

  • Friendly and trustworthy, individuals that understand working together equally is important free code no kings no servants
  • Variant degree of skill, if you know nothing the show willingness to learn if you know something be ready to teach
  • Strong and capable, be strong of mind or body or both
  • Financial support, I am poor but i have land to build and train on the more we can build there the more we can do
  • Seriousness, I look at this as a future possibility it could mean survival for my family or more than just them I DON’T think of this as a game or something to do in spare time.

Imagination, prepping for the end brings about what communities will arise at the end new traditions and rituals made old ones lost imagination could be a formidable weapon or a moral raiser be open to new ideas.

We are a mid-50’s, physically and spiritually fit, Christian couple who have been “awake” for over two years. Professionally trained in Christian ministry and mental health, we are able to survive on our own provisions for a year but are keenly aware of our need to be in a community where we can offer our knowledge and experience as well as learn from others in areas in which we are lacking. We have general survival and defensive gear and experience as well as specific knowledge in alternative health solutions and spiritual and mental preparation and survival. We are able to shelter in place; bug-out to our defensible, rural position; or to relocate to a larger group as the situation dictates. We would like to connect with others to share information and to support each other locally or to connect to you or your group.

Hello Southeastern PA.

I am just starting out at this; I’m afraid I may have more to learn than to offer at this point, but am looking to connect with others at any stage of readiness (whether similar to myself or further along.)

This may explain a little about why I’m still in Montco: I have a spinal cord injury (I walk with a crutch.) But, after depending on help from family and friends for so long, I feel like I am ready to start taking responsibility, to begin building some kind of protection for my loved ones against what I believe is on the horizon (no matter what specific event might start it, or what form it might take.)

However vital it is to have a bug out bag and a plan, though (and I admit, mine are just getting started), I do not believe that material preparation alone is enough. Without contacts, without shared experience, without people we know we can trust, none of us have a chance.

My overall deal might strike you as unusual, if the postings I’ve seen from PA are any indication. I am not going to misrepresent myself as a Christian, or someone who knows much about firearms. I have no problem talking to someone who fits either or both of those descriptions, though.

Please get in touch if:

You can see past a physical disability. I have already survived a fair amount.

You can help me improve my accuracy with a slingshot.

You want to exchange canning and pickling tips.

You can trust my word that I am not a frigging hipster, or journalist, or take posting here lightly.

You can teach me something new (that’s pretty much every prepper out there.)

Long-time Lancaster County residents have always prided themselves on self-reliance, freedom, personal responsibility, and living close to the land.  We’ve had an influx of libtards from Philly and its suburbs who want to live a more idyllic life (but immediately start to whine and complain that we need to have more regulations to make the place like the one they just left), but we still have a large population of “Prepper-types”.  Many of us have been preppers all our lives, we just didn’t know there was a name for it.  Most of us either grew up on or near farming, and some of us still do.

We have a nice sized group in Lancaster County.  Many families.  Almost all are conservative (leaning Libertarian), Christian (and a few Jews), gun owners, who love their freedom, their families, and who are very nervous about the future whether it be natural disasters, economic disasters, government disasters, or terrorist actions.  We get together, sometimes as a whole group, often in smaller groups, and exchange information, expertise, and ideas.  We often buy in bulk together. learn skills together, and plan how we can mutually assist each other in the event of an emergency.

Sometime in the middle of April we will be attending (and some are presenting) a 3 hour seminar in Lancaster on radio communications (Ham, CB, MURS).  Probably will be a Saturday morning.  I believe the cost will be about $15 per person.  If you’re interested, let me know and I will forward details as they become available.

If you’re looking to connect with a group, or find out more about us, let me know.  If you’re setting up “waypoints” on a bug-out route, we can provide safe places to stay/camp.  While we will exercise Christian charity if we are able, don’t count on us for food.  We will help fellow preppers as we are able if we know them in advance and feel comfortable with them.  If you’re some sort of Nazi, or a ‘Take Down the Government’ type, or want us to all abide by your religious beliefs, or are some wayfaring hipster-dufus singing ‘Kumbayah’, …..pass on by.  We’re not compatible.  If you think the Freemasons are ruling the world or wear a tin-foil hat because the Bilderburg Triumvirate Rosicrucians are shooting photon beams at your head, …..pass on by.  If you are a Soldier-of-Fortune I-never-served-in-the-military-but-I’m-a-killer type who wears camo everyday, …..contact somebody else.

If you’re ex-military, or current military, or LEO, ….God bless you, and welcome.  If you’re elderly, have a disability, or have a family member that fits in to that group ……welcome.  We have a wide range of professions like small business owners, auto technicians, welders, a blacksmith, lawyers, doctors,  tow truck drivers, computer eggheads (although somewhat surprisingly,  they are excellent shooters for some reason),  secretaries, painters, plumbers, nurses, housewives, mothers, and grandmothers.

I hope to hear from some of you.

Mike

new to this site, not to prepping.  been prepping for over a year. started with the family of 4 for 300 dollars prep. moved on from there.  food, weapons, ammo, adding skills.  these are what i fit in around my Philly sports i watch.

so i have  wife and child. also got father and mother aunt and uncle into prepping and shooting.we are sustainable for 13 people for about 3 months. and plenty of water with nearby creek.  looking to expand my preps by adding more sustainable means of living, IE  green house with heirloom seeds, already have a garden we jar and pickle.  id love to meet other like minded individuals in the area.

have allot of ideas, and i copy down and read allot of resources. also love 299 days novels and holding their own series, so if you just wanna talk about the books and little tips that com from them im all ears.  i also have amassed a nice little firearms collection so if you wanna talk guns i can do that as well, as James Yeager and patriot nurse say beans, bullets and band aides.

till than ,

Looking for anyone that can help me find preppers in my area. I am looking for smart, serious preppers. I am a former scout that has started prepping a short time ago. Me and my wife are both outdoors types and have some knowledge of survival techniques. I am very good with firearms and scrounging.

My wife and I have been prepping for about 3 years. We don’t claim to know about some impending apocalypse or anything. We generically prep for a lot of scenarios which include civil unrest, loss of employment, and natural disasters. We live on a farmette outside State College PA. Its a perfect bug out location, so needless to say we plan to bug in for most scenarios even though we each have our own bug out bags. My role is security and all things construction. My wife’s role is sustenance and medical. We are not truly homesteaders but we come close in lots of ways. Between fainting goats, chickens, two gun competitions, and all sorts of gardening there is always something awesome going on at our farm. We are interested in meeting like minded individuals that share our prepping passion with goals being to share ideas and information about topics such as food storage, recipes, medical knowledge, tactical training, building, animal care, etc… Another goal, although I dont know how attainable it will be, is to form a prepping team. Strength in numbers with everyone having skill sets that make the group more like a community with the ability to help each other in times of need.

Hi. I’m in northern allegheny county and would like to network with likeminded people. I’m in the medical field, have wilderness nav and surviver skills, and some combat training. Ive been learning and “prepping” for a few years. Living in suburbia may not be optimal in a crisis situation from a defense and homesteading standpoint. Therefore, in addition to networking, I am interested in seeking a bug out location, particularly one that has self-sufficiency advantages, is defendable, and can suitable for a small community. It takes a village.

If anyone has similar ideas, and perhaps would like to start a small group, please contact me.

P.S. I’m a mom.
