MB, From eastern MD here. I’m glad I found this site, only thing that could be better is an easyer forum, or chat with online members, maybeyou do have it and I just can’t find it yet. But thanks for all you have done here. otherwise i would be prepping with just my son and no help from others win’s and failed attempts for much of what it will take to be ready for ??????, thanks again, Mark

The prepper forum is where discussions take place, its pretty straight forward for freeware. On the right hand side of the page you’ll find messages (here’s a direct link to your message box – http://www.preppergroups.com/?page_id=3112), which allows private messaging.
On the top left hand side of the page, you’ll see posts broken down into state or country listings (for those outside the U.S.). At the bottom right of the site page, you’ll see a calendar. This lets you look at posts by date.

Hi fellow preppers.
This is a holiday season for most of us. A time of reflection and a time for giving thanks. I would like to thank this site for all the valuable information that I have received through the months. If you feel the same way as I do I am sure a small or whatever you can give donation to help keep this site going would be most appreciated by those who have taken their time to set this up and keep it running smooth. Most of us give our mailmen, garbagemen etc. a small token of appreciation during the holidays, I feel these people that have set up the site have also done us a great service. I just donated and it was very easy with paypal.
I wish for you all a Blessed and safe Holiday with a hopefully prosperous and healthy New Year.

Thanks for trying to rustle up some funds for us – but I suspect that many preppers are doing it hard and just aren’t able to donate and are more preoccupied in getting their preps in.
That’s the main reason that the site moved to having business advertising on it. The advertisers pay me, and the preppers find businesses selling the goods they want to spend their money on.
So the site gets some support that way.

My guess is – not a lot. Times are tough and donations have never been a steady thing with this site in any event. Still, I’d like to be able to give some away.
