Hello,
I’ve been “prepping” little by little over the past couple of years and have been learning a lot from message boards like this. I would like to meet other preppers in or around the Fond du Lac area to share and learn from.
Also, my wife is resistant to this and thinks I’m “crazy” so I thought that perhaps if she were to meet others (especially wives/women) she could learn of the concept from another POV. There is some good wisdom and truths based on the experiences of long term preppers in prepper forum.
As a leader I have had more than one person in a couple try to use my wife and myself as tools to change their spouses mind on this subject of prepping. It did not work…
What did not work? Their attempt to use us to fix their problem. I am not their marriage counselor….We terminated the meeting as the real motives became clear to us. The fact you wife or spouse or any adult is not on board is a personal matter not the concerns of others. No one can argue or convince another to decide to sacrifice what it takes to prep. It comes from within. Only certain folks will every have the where with all to develop the mind set. I call it “Normalcy Bias”
Hi Daniel, Lenina here. Becareful about using your email with your name. It’s very easy to find out who & where a person is by looking the name up on the Wi Circuit Court access search.
