Live north fring of metro trying to evaluate if I can harden homestead or if bug out will be best if SHTF. No military training. household is firearms friendly. location is unique. 3 acres with water on three sides. Slightly elevated above surroundings especially side w/o water. Wooded. tri fuel generator, Well, septic, fire resistant Hardiboard siding, fiberglass shingle roof 
Extensive building and mechanical skills. Lifelong outdoors passion w experience. Wood stove w three years split and stacked. 6 months food, garden, jars canner, wildlife in abundance (for now). Need trained military advise, prefer combat vet but willing to discuss with all.
