Hi my name is Aimee, and I am new to this group. I am from Louisiana, and would like to connect with other people of like-mindedness. I am a new prepper and would like to learn things from others, and hopefully put a survival plan in place, including relocation. Thanks and hope to hear from you all soon.

  1. Hi Aimee,
We are a prepper family looking to start our journey very soon. We own a home in Georgia but are buying land in Tenn or Kentucky in the next few days. We are then going to camp their for a few days the week of May 15th. We are going to see the land and decide what all we will need their before making the move final. My family consists of my wife, 10 yr old son and myself. We have 4 grown children but they are not coming with us. They all have their own homes. Tenn or Kentucky have excellent properties for me to decide which way to go. We have been preparing for this move for 2 years.
    Thx, Rob

    • Thanks for your reply, Rob. It is five of us. My husband and two boys (20 n 17, and daughter 15). We are in very beginning stages of prep. Trying to figure what’s most important to have, and safe place to go. We don’t know any ppl who are like minded yet. How soon are you planning a move? And what makes those states safer than others? Also, you can reach me at aimeebajoie08 [at] gmail [dot] com.

      • Hi,
This is Gil, I live in Gonzales Louisiana. If you search through the Louisiana posts I have a small group of likeminded people who all live in the Baton Rouge area. Where do you live because you may not be as far away from people as you think.

  2. There’s a thread for beginners on the prepper forum associated with this site, as well as a number of threads with priorities, ways of getting started, budgeting and squeezing the most out of money/purchases, eliminating purchases, and similar.

You do have to register again, but it’s automated this time. Most of us use the same information (just streamlines things).

    Cheers,
    Pup
