Hey all,
I am looking for like minded people that look at the overall picture of going back to basics and learning skills that were lost from generation to generation. I would like to form a support group of ideas, skills and common goals. I moved to NH about 3 years ago, to get away from the city life and learn valuable skills. I have never done any preparing in the mindset of any natural disaster, terrorist act or any other catastrophic attack. I would like to start ASAP to put togeather such a group and talk via email, phone or in person. If interested or have any ideas or comments please to be shy to share.

  1. We used to have a 17 acre farm in southeast NH before we got interested in prepping, and before we sadly had to leave it to help elder family members struggling with health issues. Am sorry we sold it. Would have made a perfect prepper retreat. Currently trapped in FL but looking to sell when we can and go home, or to CO or maybe OR to join/start prepper retreat.

  2. Hi,
I agree with you about skills being lost from generation to generation. I think a lot of it has to do with merchandise being so cheap that we buy instead of finding a way to make it ourselves. With things the way they are in this economy, I think we’ll be going back to the old ways faster than anybody thinks.

  3. I’m in the Monadnock area, been prepping since “Y2K”. Feel free to contact me.
