Get together, shoot, talk, and train until the group gets more in depth. 10 acres of land to train and shoot on. Whilst ive always been into it, I have struggled to find any Aussie involvement in this life style. Like most I have a family, a job and a social life. Then I have prepping.

I’m trying to get a bunker biult in the Folsom El Dorado Hills area, and it’s going to be massive. Big enough for 240 people. The project goal is to develop an underground shelter system to protect 240 people from Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical effects and provide a long term living environment during a time when the general population may be suffering severely from direct weapon effects and/or starvation and lack of common community services due to a lack of electricity as a result of a high altitude EMP attack, severe earthquakes, biological attack, gamma ray bursts, or direct local attacks. The structure is comprived of three individuel bunkers. Two of the three bunkers (149,618 ft3 each) serve as the residential or housing sector with shops, doctor’s office, dentist office, city hall, fire department, communications room, health spa, restaurant etc. on the main floor with condos of various sizes on the second floor. Main floor has 7,748 ft2 and approximately 3,000 ft2 on the second floor depending on the floor plan.
The third bunker (149,618 ft3) will serve as the service structure housing 4 milk cows, 40 chickens, 4 generators, grain silos, farm tractor, vehicles on the main floor and personnel food storage, animals feed, hay, etc. on the second story. Main floor has 7,748 ft2 and approximately 3,000 ft2 on the second floor. This community will provide 1,870 ft3/shelterist compared to conventional houses that supply 1,500 to 2,000 ft3/person. This UNDERGROUND COMMUNITY is designed to provide a relatively normal life style for approximately 3 years without exiting the underground community while operating off the grid and completely independent of any local community services.
The company that would be hierd out to construct the complex would be RADIUS ENGINEERING, and it would tahe 4 months to construct.
My fiance and I are moving to Montana around the end of the month. We will be in the Upper Missouri Breaks south of Chinook,MT. I am a former Force Recon Marine (39 yrs old). My fiance is a former police officer (43yrs old). We will be building a small off grid cabin and possibly starting a prepper community/group. I prep lightly and I am moving SouthWest Georgia soon and will become more involved. I know the government is not dependable. This is my second time posting here. I posted initially in November and made a few contacts but I’m looking to meet some more folks.
I am looking for like-minded preppers to network with and hopefully join a group if we meet the right people. I am looking for a group in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, or western Williamson counties in Texas
Here’s a little about me: first of all I am a Christian and would like to find a group of preppers who share our beliefs. I am 35 yrs old and currently work as a wildland firefighter. I have basic first aid/cpr skills, am a competent welder, a fair small engine mechanic, and can even raise an ok garden. I have had some small arms and small unit tactics training although I have never been in the military/law enforcement. I can run many kinds of heavy equipment and do just about any kind of farm labor. I am married (my wife currently works as a teacher) with 2 small children and live in Burnet County.
As far as preps are concerned; we have been prepping as much as our limited budget allows for about a year or so. I’d rather get into specifics as to how much/how many on the internet right now. I do think we’d be ok for at least a couple months on our own. We aren’t prepping specifically for some cataclysmic event, but rather a slow decline of our country to the point that civil order breaks down and small communities/groups need to work together for survival. I feel this is a more plausible and realistic scenario than a EMP, meteor strike, large terrorist attack, etc. I know I can’t do this on my own and when I mention things like prepping to friends and coworkers, I get strange looks and jokes. That’s why I’m here – to find people in our area that we can work with for mutual benefit in times of crisis.
