  3. Hi, im in the SF area, new to a Ca. I’m a lifelong outdoorsman with 30 years experience in the Marines, army, law enforcement with HEAVY lifelong influence in survival schooling/training, tactical firearms training, street self-defense/dirty fighting. I grew up in the Midwest and spent years in the woods. I’m a avid reader who craves knowledge and has read hundreds of books on outdoor skills, survival skills too numerous to list. I have the military survival training and real world experience. I could blah on for hours. I’m a normal 41 year old conservative but open minded libertarian?/independent thinker. I’m Christian but not pushy and respect others. I’m former military intelligence amongst other things hoping to meet other like minded normal people. I have TONS of knowledge… I live the lifestyle. Get in touch with me. Im Max

    • Hey leatherneck, I saw one of your posts. Just reaching out, I did my service in the Marines also. I have been checking out the Stevens Co. area online. Would like to your opinion.

      • We have a home in remote northern Stevens Co. We have MANY skills, currently working in Mines in Nevada for the past few years since the Lumber Industry all but dried up. This seems to be where the good paying jobs are right now, and the Mining Industry has helped us pay for our home & prepping along with learning new skills. We plan to move home permenatly in the next month or two and plan to retire & prep FULL time. As far as participating in a sustainable living project, we have our own(husband & wife team) but may be close enough neighbors to at least start a network. We do LACK the skills of DrBlu but are simular belives as maxxx. Please contact if interested

  4. If you need medical/surgical skills contact me. If not good luck to you.

  5. I think I replied to you, still would like to hear from you, if I didn’t reply, would still like to hear from you. Wife and I are considering Bugging out that way. I’m a former Marine with some survival skills and my wife is an RN.

  6. Greatings from the state of Washington. Although I live in Tacoma, Stevens county is only about 7 hours away. I would like to communicate with you on the help settling on a 20 acre area north of Spokane.

  9. You are 5 hours above where I live. I nor my husband has any of the skill sets you are looking for. We are currently starting our first year gardening as we have just bought our house. I am willing to learn canning this summer and fall and I know some crocheting. My husband and I are also gonna take some shooting classes to be familiar with the gun. If you would like to talk more your welcome to email me. kristel_michael [at] hotmail [dot] come

    • prepperbelle, 5 hours above from which one of us??? From me, (or anyone in Stevens county WA ) that would put you in the heart of Canada.

Good for you & husband taking some shooting/safety classes, and begining to garden & can, it is a start, hope you both are fast learners as all these take time & experience to master.

Also I agree with rancher on the whole issue of “investment being safe gaurded” and needs to be explained me also

      • (anyone in Stevens county WA) I live in the tri-cites of Washington. So 3 hours from Spokane. I am a fast learner when it comes to gardening. My neighbor has been canning for decades and is gonna show us so we will have a good teacher.
Yes it is a start and we are slowly getting things ready. Right now we are getting equipment needed as an ax and tiller.( we just bought our first home) I am also hoarding fire wood in the mean time. We were able to get 2 truck loads last weekend. Our next step is to test our soil as my husband is a chemist. We will know very shortly what is needed for us to start planting.

  10. Is the original poster proposing everyone live on the 20 acres right now and try to co-exist? That is not real clear to me. If so how does that break down into responsible parts. What is on site and in place and what is not? IE a water well. Who pays for that…who owns that legally. Who gets water and how much? The whole issue of investments being safe guarded comes into mind right up front when everything is on one 20 acre parcel.

Can you explain this some more?

  11. We currently live around 2 hours north of spokane.33 yrs exp. in all phases of construction, as well as many other skills. We are interested in more info. Please send email to rmail894 [at] gmail [dot] com
