I’d like to make an alliance with ya! I never know when I might have to bug out of Virginia to the Midwest where things are more sane.
I am interested in getting more information on your group. I am currently stockpiling supplies and food and looking for a place to go. I am willing to share what I have with the group and will participate in all functions.
I am also looking for a group of folks with a like mind.
I live near Char. in town but I have a place to get away.

Greetings tell me more about you. I just posted on the WV site but saw your response on another. Is it just you? We have over a hundred acres on top of a mountain in WV. Lots of deer, turkey, couple of ponds we need to stock. I have four kids and am actually trying to foster/adopt some more as these kids need help. …..It’s not like they could prepare…. Anyway, I homeschool. My husband works unbelievable hours for us to afford our mortgage…..hence out biggest hurdle. If or should I say when tshtf, will banks be able to go after peoples homes. I have stocked over a year of food, just got another 600 canning jars, loading up on coal and wood for heat. Made sure the kids are good with clothes and gear for another 2-3 years. I have many dogs for guard dogs. Have a couple guns and working on stocking ammo, although I feel another way to go is bow and arrow. I will be ordering a crossbow. Have a large garden, started fruit trees and lots of berries and medicinal/edible plants on site. Stocked on meds and I think on enough bandages although other people who have experience in the medical field may think it is not enough.
Lack in having a green house, the ability to pay off the mortgage and alternative power source (sun, wind or hydro).

My name is Sam and my wife and I live in Harrisonburg, VA We are looking for a place that sounds like just what you have. I dont know how your family would feel if I were to offer to purchase a small tract of you 100 acres. This would help pay down the mortgage Just a thought. I am actively seeking a bug out location in the mountains of WV. I am a contractor in VA and have a large warehouse here. I have 330 gallon totes that roof coatings come in. Cleaned out they make great storage for water and fuel. We are seeking to join forces with like minded normal people who are serious about surviving the collapse. I am ex-military, medical specialist, EMT with excellent security skills. I own several HD trucks trailers, and various pumps, generators etc.
Excellent with weapons and ammo as well as security. Should we possibly choose to work together security will be of utmost importance we would not want to open ourselves as a possible target. We are currently researching food stores and long term suppliers. I can build and repair most anything. My wife and I have 5 children 4 of which will be graduated from HS in three years 4 boys 1 girl.

Love to hear more from all in the Va. WVA areas. I am a veteran (Military police enlisted and Infantry Commissioned Officer) Have much experience in wepons and tactics, medical, survival, teaching, scripture, etc….and a good stockpile of food, medical, weapons, ammo, etc….Likeminded wife and kids. Live about an hour south west of Richmond (in the woods!) Work in Richmond….Wife takes care of the house, gardens, ponds, fish etc…Love to find additional secure locations further out, but more importantly like minded people! If nothing else, other people to talk to! The world is becoming too secular, blind and expectant for me! Our current state of affairs can’t go on much longer before it gets ugly!

Randolph County borders us…trying to network with other like minded folks in this north central WV area. Already have a place, clean gravity fed spring water, free gas and can function w/o elec (working on alt.source) so not looking to relocate. Anyone in Upshur, Lewis, Barbour, Harrison counties out there???

Living in Elkins, recently returned from year in Iraq. Thirty years law enforcement experience, 25 year military reservist. 30 years Emergency medial experience. Weapons experieinced and have been prepping for several years with moderate success. Not looking to relocate at the moment as we have fouty acres in Montose but looking for like minded group to join when needed. Willing to focus on sections of a team preparedness. Family of four.
