Hi,
My name is Frank and I have 48 acres out on some land about 15 miles from anywhere. I have a small house with a well and elec running out there. I have a small income but plenty of land to work with. Would like to create a team of preppers out here on this land to maybe fortify our position, create a bug out zone or maybe even build an underground shelter of some sort. I am new to prepping but am highly skilled with survival techniques and have been studying for some time now. Looking into obtaining more weapons and more members as I feel their is strength in numbers also people who are skilled in areas such as building, gardening, hunting, trapping etc. Lookin for serious individuals only. Would like to have some type of funding as well seeing as I have plenty of land to work with but not the income I would to develope what I want. Also, could use ideas havent exactly set in stone my course of actions just currently came across the notion that its time for me to start prepping for doomsday. If any of you out there would like to start a team of preppers on my land please contact me and we can meet and begin this process of survival. Thank my email is frankie83gallegos (at) yahoo (dot) com

My family and I would like to join a group close to southern or central New Mexico. Would be willing to travel farther for the right group. We are a family of 4 freedom loving, christian, conservatives. My wife and kids (boy 19, and girl 17) are all smart, strong, and not afraid to work. And their shooters. I am currently a gov contractor in a VERY useful field should the SHTF. I have spent most of my adult life wearing a firearm to work in one form or another and my skills are too many to list here. U.S.M.C., Army infantry, law enforcement, federal security, etc. My past jobs have run from aircraft mech to PSD (bodyguard, overseas) to firearms instructor, to sniper (active army). My forte is as a teacher (unarmed, NBC, CQB, MOUT, weapons, etc). I have experience with everything from first time civilians to military and law enforcement swat teams.
I was at Katrina. I was at the Superdome with those people and I know what happens when you are not prepared. I will not let that happen to my family or friends. We are well prepped to bug in, or bug out if we have to. What we need is a place to bug out to, where we can be an asset to the security and training of your retreat.
I’m hoping to be able to travel around a little this summer and find our new home away from home. Please contact me here, or by email, crhammock [at] hotmail [dot] com , if you think we would be a good fit for your group.
Thanks for your consideration, Semper Fi, Rob.

Greetings Colorado!

I just discovered the site yesterday.  There was a reference on Survivorblog yesterday that led mke to find you.  I have been a daily reader there for a little over a year and prepping for as long.  I’m closing hard on mid fifties, married, with a thirteen year old son.

Due to our business, we’re really unable to blow metro Denver at the moment.  Our basic plan is to of course watch closely as things unfold.  If and when the city gets violent, we will flee to our 8 forested acres near Bailey.  The current tenants laughed when I said if SHTF we’re showing up.  Then they said “bring food”.  That won’t be a problem.

I figure we have enogh stuff to fill our 2 cargo vans and stuff the Suburban.  Hopefully my son can pilot one of the craft.  My wife said leaving the dog is not an option.

If the moutain house becomes untenable, our final option would be to hide in the forest.   We should be provisioned for at least a year.

Anyone out there with some better ideas?

Any help or just chat would be welcome.

Hi! We are a small group west of Colorado Springs high up in the mountains. We are on paid-for land (over 40+ acres) covered in trees. Our setup is unseen from the road and is off-grid. We are well prepared and are now working on backups to our backups!

If you are past the planning stage and are pretty well prepared, then drop us a line!

Whether you are looking for a place or just others to ally with in time of need, please network with us.

We are not interested in talkers about what they WILL DO, we only want good people who have ALREADY DONE and will continue to prep. We are good to our word. There are no good excuses!

Former military and LE. Christian and family man.
I live in (and have a retreat in) Northern Idaho, but my work/job will be taking me to Colorado Springs for the summer (June/July). I’ll be driving down and back with gear, fuel, and commo in case something goes down while I’m away from home.

I’m looking for two things:
1. A halfway point (or some point along the way) that I could get to as a safe-place if I need to refuel, sleep, and rest before hitting the road again. I could offer security and a helping hand if I am forced to link up with you for a day or two or until the dust settles, if needed. I’d like to keep half my fuel at a safe place along the route while I’m down there. That way I can get home, but if something happened to me you could use it.
My primary bugout routes are from Co, to WY, MT, and then to ID. Alternate routes would take me from CO, to UT, to ID/MT. Would love to have contact with like-minded folks along the way home if anything really bad ever happens while I’m away from my family and retreat group.

2. Would like to know if anyone may have the same (or similar) bugout routes in the event of a TEOTWAWKI situation during that time-frame. Would like to make a tentative linkup plan to travel in numbers (safety). Will be armed and have food, fuel, tools, etc. but am prepared to travel cross-country on foot if I have to abandon vehicle. Hopefully be able to locate some likeminded retreats along the route home. Please let me know. Thanks. God bless.
