i live near watertown ny and am looking for other preppers near by, former combat engineer with the army and a machine gunner in the marines, alot of outdoor skills and military schools on survival. any one near by let me knoe would love to hook up with some others

Hello all I live just outside of Watertown. I am still in the Army, but I will be retiring here in the next couple of years. I have recently started my prepping, like today was the first actual step. I started prepping a while ago without actually intending to prep ie generator and livestock. I am interested in ideas. I am starting with water and then going from there to food. My plan is to prepare for natural disaster more than anything else. After Sandy I saw a lot on the news about people eating out of dumpsters and made me think about preparing more.
