I have truck and a travel trailer that will be home for as long as I need it to be.  I’m looking for a prepper community homestead.

Who am I and why would I make a good community member?

I am a 40s Female (divorced) with a 16 year old daughter who is home-schooled and a smart, straight A student. I’ve been a single mother since she was born.  I’m resourceful and hard-working and have always supported us without help from family or the father.  I’m mentally strong and intelligent person with excellent critical thinking abilities and can handle emergencies and stress like a veteran EMT tech.  Other benefits:

  1. I work from home – so I can keep my revenue source going wherever I live, until the financial system crashes.
  2. I’m self-sufficient and can provide for my daughter and myself.
  3. I have food, water filters, basic necessities, and protection (I am security minded).
  4. I carry my own tools
  5. Skilled in the following areas:
    1. General carpentry and home remodeling
    2. Large equipment operator
    3. Handy with all power tools
    4. Ride both a motorcycle/4 wheeler
    5. Great fisherman
    6. Back-packing experience
    7. Hair cutting
    8. Gardening
    9. Canning
    10. Raised on a farm

What I am Looking for: people that are spiritual minded, not religiously fanatic.  Gun/protection minded, not Militant.  Established community with off-grid resources.

We are Salem Area Preparedness Group.  We have been around for a couple years and our membership is growing.  Folks are waking up.   Anyway, we have a presence large presence on Facebook and Meetup.com.  We post a lot of content and articles on Facebook.  We welcome those who are committed to being prepared for any disastrous event. Let’s focus on survival preparedness topics and skills. We also have group get together’s and planned events & welcome your participation at whatever level you are starting at. Click on “Events” tab and/or watch for invites. Alternatively, if you just wanna be less active, observe, read & post that is fine too.  Lastly, we are fond of having barter items at our get together.  Look forward to seeing you around.  Again search “Salem area preparedness group” on Facebook.     John

Hi All!

We are blessed to live on our North East Texas 50+ acre homestead full-time, to spend every day molding and shaping it’s potential into reality. We are long time preppers, and as a family, we have decided that we would like to offer the opportunity for certain folks to become a part of our community. We have discussed a few potential options and welcome ideas, because everyone is facing a different situation. The benefits of a full-time homestead without the massive down payment, 30yr mortgage, 3+hour daily commute and 60hr farm work week. In addition, we offer the opportunity to build camaraderie, to develop and enhance our sustainability skill-set…to become a community BEFORE an event. This won’t be for everyone – It will require background checks, initial public meetings, time and financial investments (not those 10k buy-in things, but if you want to put a building here, etc.)
Mister is a former Marine, law enforcement officer and firearms instructor with 25+yrs of experience. Missus is an IT Professional by day, and homestead supermom by night. A high school senior and fourth grader are cheerful farm hands. Extended family includes Army Ranger and Trauma Nurse. Dogs, barn kitty, chickens, ducks…there are always animals! We are a typical Christian family (not a militia) that loves to laugh, hike, watch movies, etc. We work very hard, and we try to play just as hard! We also ensure our family and our farm are prepared for any eventuality. You can email us info [at] txexitstrategy [dot] com or visit that site for more info.

Looking for others interested in moving there and looking to possibly buy or rent a little land to live over quite a long period of time.

May travel the western USA first unless we find something quick, before the snow falls. Want to move by end of Sept. or Early Oct.

Anyone interested that would like help, or would like to help, would be greatly appreciated and accepted!

My name is Laura Iam 30 years old. Me and my fiancé Bobby have three children together ages 1,2, and 11 years old. I live in North Eastern Arkansas and have started prepping with my mother Mary and her husband Johnny along with their two grandchildren ages 3 and 4. We have many skills including but not limited to: medical, hunting, protection, farming and carpentry etc. Looking to meet kind caring Christians to join us in our prepping efforts for we believe time is very short! We would like this group to be family based. We plan on relocating days before the calamity occurs…to the mountains on the Ozarks. We are working out the fine details now and we are looking for more support. Please private message us back so we can begin building a true and new community for the life after. We believe the deadline is coming very soon…like in months so please only serious inquiries. Thank you, God Bless.

Stop sitting around the house, lets get out and work! A little friendly interaction, get to know the people who are likely to be around after SHTF now, and maybe even have a few ideas rub off, or get some good training in with your gear. Practice makes perfect!

Condition yourself. Work together with a group of like minded folks doing the same thing…PREPARING so we succeed. Planning to bug-out? Have you tried your plan? Need to get home from work if SHTF? Have you tried doing that without a vehicle? We’ll go with you to test it all out.

Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. Would you rather be punched before? Or after? To know what it feels like, and see if your plan, preps, and gear will work or not, I for one would like to practice now. Practice makes perfect after all.

Get familiar with your preps now while you have the comfort of making mistakes, don’t wait until your health and safety are actually on the line before busting open that new toy you just got off Amazon.

Network and build those relationships now, that you may need in the roughest of times!

Physically active group, not into just the classroom theory of prepping, but actual practical application. Bring a DO WORK attitude and be ready for movement.

Leave the Religion, Politics, & 420 at home…don’t need to bring that with you.
Shoot me a message…

hi-

I’m looking to either start an urban preparedness group, or join up with one that already exists, for the purposes of learning and training together, developing plans, sharing information, and finding useful people.

I I have some basic skills but I have not been preparing long, but I’m looking to learn as much as I can and help others learn too. I’m resourceful and can fix anything, have some building skills, firearms, minor medical knowledge, in decent shape. Most importantly I come with a strong will to survive and a positive attitude that we can make it through anything if we stay strong and willing.

Im not all that fervently religious (though I’m not against religion in any way) and I’m definitely not interested in getting into a fight with the feds–so if those are your main angles, more power to ya but I’m not interested.

This is is kind of a shot in the dark. I’m really not expecting there to be any people inside the city of Minneapolis with a preparedness mindset. But you never know.

Reply lay on here and we will go from there. Thank you!

My wife and I are Christian Preppers who live on a pretty remote 100 acre homestead north of Huntsville Ontario.  We have some skills, some livestock, and some essential gear. We are committed to the lifestyle.

We are looking for some compatible preppers in the area or who might be looking for a bug out location.

are there any religious prepper sites? been searching for religious organizations that may have prepper communities —-am christian, catholic rite (not following the pope) tho; looking in arkansas or missouri area and hadn’t run across anything. am willing to look at other area.
FYI: contacted a few morman groups who said , sadly, even a lot of morman’s aren’t prepping —wow guess lost their way; and, there seems to be a lot of catholics churches in utah, but alas no preppers—anyway thought I would ask around

Hello!  My name is Ray and I live in the Wichita, KS area.  I am in search of like-minded folks in this area.  I am fairly new to the prepping scene and desperately want to find others with more experience and knowledge that I can learn from.  I am “stuck” in the small town scenario but realize that it’s no excuse for not doing all I can to be prepared.  In truth though, the amount of information out there is a bit daunting and I am finding it difficult to sift through and figure out what to focus on.  Any advice, tips, suggestions, recommended user-groups and/or websites and books etc., would be greatly appreciated.

Desperately seeking to organize an Outdoor Retreat for people in and around the State of Maryland who are willing to plan for future survivalists adventures.  Seeking diverse skill sets and any gear or knowledge you can bring to the group.  I am not a doomsday prep.  I am more like someone who can live off the land, barter and trade harvested goods if all hell breaks loose.

Food and water will be provided at no cost to anyone who is willing to go on this retreat.  As a matter of fact, I am willing to pay fees for everyone willing to share tent and/or transportation to our site.   The primary objective for this meeting is to compare notes, make plans, learn and teach what will eventually evolve into a group who can survive without reliance on modern society.  If you are true, not a novice and genuinely interested in this trip, please email me at:  [email protected]

Hello everyone I’m not going to lie I have only recently started to prep although I have always had the mindset. I have my food, gear, and weapons already. I suppose I’m listing this because I would love to meet people near me who may help with my preps and maybe some training. I have all of the medical training as far as EMR,EMT, Firstaid, and CPR covered. My downfall in my training is that it all has involved the proper gear at my disposal. I’m hoping to hear about some nifty tricks as well as survival techniques. Please email me with ideas and help at eanjurgens(at) gmail (dot)com. I appreciate the help and wish you all the best of luck with whatever the future holds.

Hi everyone,

We recently moved to Huntsville AL area due to a job relocation. In Florida we had a yard where we grew almost all of our fruits and vegetables, and even had two young nut trees. We enjoy the hobby of pursuing self-sustainable living, but previously we were the only ones in our neighborhood. So before we purchase a house here, we wanted to hear from the locals, if anyone is aware of a type of community or farmstead where a group of like minded people have purchased some acreage through a trust, or at least an area where people have gardens and chickens, etc. We just can’t buy into the suburban neighborhood thing but also don’t want to live rural by ourselves where we couldn’t defend what we’ve worked so hard to establish. Any thoughts?

Our approach to “prepping” is living in such a way to where you are prepared for disaster but also if things just go bad, but not disasterous, that you at least have your land you pay so dearly for, give you food in return.

I appreciate any input.

Thanks,

Dina

I’m a newbie at this.  My background is urban life, military (USMC), electronics technician, and electrician.  Looking forward to great conversations I can learn from.
