I was recently with a prepper group. Like minded working on a complete off grid life. Gardens, fields, livestock all brought in. Wells drilled. Construction of buildings for housing, storage and livestock.

What I brought to the group, 15 years combat medicine. An understanding of theoretical physics. Off the grid engineering. A medic is useful but only if you are injured. My knowledge of physics and engineering is what was most beneficial. Understanding how to build fuel cells. Using water to power a combustion engine. Building generators that were self powering, required no fuel once started. A generator powered by gravity (now this one been having output issues, works just not much energy)

Other then basic maintenance and replacing worn parts, everything wears out in time. The generators and fuel cells were no cost. It allowed for things to be built more remote. Allowed for basic creature comforts. Allowed for construction of aquaponic systems. The cost to run pumps and lights negated.

I am no longer with the group. Their direction becoming more militia style. Not my style, I prefer to remain unnoticed.

Now, I am not looking for a particular group. In a position with friends of 20+ years. Individuals I trust with my life. I do still actively work on my little projects. Still build items, test items and work to better and get more out of them. Such as the fuel cell, attempting to build a grill/stove/fire place that burns water.

What I offer to a group or individual is the ability to become more self sufficient and more off grid. I can and will consider building certain items. Obviously nothing is free, there is a materials cost, fair compensation for the time it takes.

I have seen various groups, as mentioned was part of a group. I will not disclose my location for personal safety concerns. I will only meet in a public location of my choosing. And it is highly likely you would meet only a messenger.

What I can do for you, off the grid. Provide electricity with no emissions. Little to no heat signature. Fuel cells (these are rather expensive to build, depending on what it is for extremely heavy). A smaller version can run a chain saw. Connecting your saw to the cell similar to having an electric saw. The power is not as great on the saw as gas, the fact powered by water a fair trade. Antenna systems…tv, wifi, radio. Glow lights, solar recharging glow sticks. No solar panels, I use chemicals that store solar energy, react with each other producing light. Stable fire starters, I have used a single tea spoon to start a fire using damp and green wood. Depending what your need is, I might be able to help. Maybe build a small cabin, trailer portable with a generator, water catchment, antenna. Toss in a wireless system to charge your cell phone or two way radio.

We’re seeking someone with information gathering, surveillance and reconnaissance skills: we’re in need of a trained/experienced scout that can operate effectively within a forested environment; alone at times.  We have NVD & thermal imaging technology as well as suppression capabilities if need be available for your night ops.  We are located in the northern portion of the lower peninsula of Michigan in a very rural, hilly forested area.  SERE and similar training will be considered but no phonies or wannabes please: your credentials will be verified and your skills tested.  You will have to meet the minimum general requirements for membership.  Arriving with nothing but hungry mouths and the shirts on your backs is not an option.

In return you will be welcomed into a well established group of excellent people with quality skills, prepped up beyond what most groups require and an excellent retreat sight for you and your family.  We have a medical unit of doctors & nurses.  Unless you’re a millionaire you won’t find a better, safer place for your yourself and included family.  For further information hmu…

Hey everyone,

Really new to this. I’ve always been all about making sure to save things and not be wasteful, and have emergency supplies “just in case.” With the way the world is going, though, I want to do something more palpable, focused, and purposeful. I know there’s plenty of preppers in Idaho in Boise and northward. I live in Southeastern Idaho, though, so I wouldn’t be opposed to getting input, help, advice, etc. from experienced people in Utah, Montana, or Wyoming, too.

Thank you for adding me, I look forward to networking with you all.

Looking for self reliant hard working people. The time is getting shorter to be in a good place with good people.

We think rocky mountain montana is a good place.  We are interested in meeting real people who live in the area or are contemplating moving . God helps the helpless but the rest of us have to chop wood and carry water.

Looking at this ad it is a bit light on info. I could tell you all the things we have stockpiled for the last 25 years, the skills we have learned and the continuing self reliant things we are doing. But that wouldn’t probably impress the people that have not done things like dig a shelter, can produce, get a RN degree, work in a generator and ATV shop for 30 years, build a couple of houses from scratch and are currently raising a teenager. Plus laying out too much info is bad for opsec.
