While I don’t have the greatest knowledge of how to go about being self-sufficient and prepared, I do have a house on 24 beautiful acres, and I’m learning more all of the time. I moved here by myself with a desire to start a more self-sufficient, healthy, and generous lifestyle. I am a 37-year-old, Christian male with a full-time job. I work from home here, and my place is between Bolivar and Buffalo. If there are others who are looking to be more self-sufficient and who are interested in joining me in developing that type of lifestyle here, let me know!

Our medic has to move out of state and we need to replace that critical position.  We already have a medical team of  doctors and nurses but they don’t go out on patrol with the tactical team and can’s always address the first critical 30 minutes.  For that we need someone who can also fight to go out with us.  A combat experienced medic would be perfect but a civilian paramedic would definitely be considered.

In return you and your family will be part of an established group with an excellent retreat site.  You’ll have to meet our minimum requirements but you’re not likely to find a better group or retreat for yourself or your family.  We’re located in the northern portion of the lower peninsula of Michigan in a very rural area not near any freeways or cities within a national forest.

Hi, I am in the North Bay area, just north of San Francisco, hoping to join a group soon for me and my dog. I’m a 30 year old female, have lots to offer, have been in survival situations in the snow, I am a car prepper, meaning I could survive out of my car for a long time if need be, but feel that it is beginning to be time to find a group and an actual location. Please let me know if anyone established or starting is looking for new members in California or I’m open to Nevada as well, because the masses will head to the desert lastly after slowly leaving cities and venturing outward in search of food and water.

We are a diverse, close knit mutual assistance group that is located 30 miles east of Indianapolis. We are looking to recruit a few quality persons. Medical, law enforcement, or prior military service is desirable but not necessary. We are active and train one weekend per month. We are non political and etremely loyal to each other and our family’s. Our next training exercise will be conducted in The Hoosier National Forest on September 16/17. If you are content to simply talk about training or want to be part of a chat group, we probably aren’t what you’re looking for. Experience is not required.  You must be able to pass a backgound check.

We are a little Sanctuary in the foothills of Mt. St. Helens east of Kelso, WA. House at 300′ elevation, 5 forested acres (alder, maple, cedar, fir, blackberries), directly adjacent to millions of acres of uninhabited forest land where we can freely roam (deer, elk, wild turkeys, coyotes, cougar?) We are wilderness-based, not city, town, or farm-based.

We plan to keep the Team small for many reasons, including that our fallout shelter only holds 6. We are prepared for nuclear war, disease plague (by self-isolation), climate disruption (although our weakness is forest fire), and general financial/commercial/political collapse (by self-sufficiency). We are also in fairly good shape for most Black Swans (earthquake, etc.) The Sanctuary is prepared to make the transition to complete and permanent self-sufficiency if necessary (gardening, hunting, fishing, herbal medicine).

Current members include a mental-health therapist, a mechanical engineer, a medical pathology assistant, and a plant nursery worker. We have many other skills among us.

In new people, we are more interested in maturity and good values than any certain skills, but you must be fairly well educated, open to learning, and willing to teach what you know. Emotional stability, intelligence, patience, respect, cooperation, and intuition are highly valued. We are NOT interested in control freaks, politicians, chatter boxes, or the judgmental, impulsive, lazy, or defensive.

Excellent health and mobility, and strong immune systems, are necessary. No drug dependencies (including recreational), significant food allergies, or claustrophobia. Politics and religion must be kept strictly personal. No costs (other than your own gear), but you must have reliable transportation.

This Sanctuary is not a residential situation for most members during normal times, but a retreat location where we gather about 6 weekends a year to explore, work, learn, and play. We also stay ready to dash to the Sanctuary if/when “something” happens. We have 2 openings, suitable for individuals, a couple, or parent and youth. We only consider youth who are capable of completely grown-up behavior whenever it is needed (minimum age of about 8), and we would look at the youth’s qualities and motivations, just as we would with an adult.

The Sanctuary is strictly private, not associated with any government, business, or religion, and we will keep all communications confidential: zimindrixli [at] yahoo [dot] com.

Hi All!

We are blessed to live on our North East Texas 50+ acre homestead full-time, to spend every day molding and shaping it’s potential into reality. We are long time preppers, and as a family, we have decided that we would like to offer the opportunity for certain folks to become a part of our community.

We have discussed a few potential options for folks (BOL versus full-time community), and welcome discussion as everyone is at a different place in their life. In addition, we offer the opportunity to build camaraderie, to develop and enhance our sustainability skill-set…to become a community BEFORE an event. This won’t be for everyone – It will require background checks, initial public meetings, time and financial commitments, (not those 10k buy-in things, but if you want to put a building here, etc.)

Mister is a former Marine, law enforcement officer and firearms instructor with 25+yrs of experience. Missus is an IT Professional by day, and homestead supermom by night. College freshman and fifth grader are cheerful farm hands. Extended family includes Army Ranger and Trauma Nurse. Dogs, barn kitty, chickens, ducks…there are always animals! We are a typical Christian family (not a militia) that loves to laugh, hike, watch movies, etc. We work very hard, and we try to play just as hard! We also work to ensure our family and our farm are prepared for any eventuality. You can email us via info [at] txexitstrategy [dot] com or visit that site for more info.

We are not a vocal group, as is we are as low key as possible, and we expect any new members to follow that rule. Any new member will be on a probationary basis until voted in as a full member.

Skill Sets include the following: I currently work as RN in field of “infectious disease” during the week and as a “psychiatric” nurse on the weekends.  As such, I have intimate knowledge of infectious diseases that includes most of the pathogens ((viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungal, etc)) that plague the human species along with an intimate knowledge of psychiatric illness.  I am VERY familiar with antibiotics/antivirals/antifungals and their correct use.  I even have a store of antibiotics (for my fish and birds) and I am familiar with their correct administration.  I am an avid outdoorsman (although I don’t have the time to enjoy the out-of-doors as much as I would like too) and I am familiar with camping in various extreme settings and environments.  I am familiar (NOT AN EXPERT) in the the various things (camping gear) that is required to survive in the wilderness for a limited time frame.  I am still a “novice” at the concept of security…although I have received some training with Long-gun & pistol at FrontSight (in NV) suffice it to say that I know enough to know that I have a very long ways to go before I would call myself proficient in the use of firearms.  Although I have done some hunting in my time I am definitely NOT an expert at that either.  My fishing skills are better then average.  My knowledge of herbs and wild edibles is sorely lacking but I’m conducting some self-education in that field right now (my current focus).  We raise chickens, rabbits, and grow a garden…I have been involved in commercial gardening for much of my life…squash of various types and I know how to grow a garden, prepare soil, keep the bugs at bay, etc.  I am relatively physically fit (I work-out 5 out of 7 days on average) and (perhaps most important of all) mentally fit.  I have never been diagnosed with any mental condition or have had to resort to taking any type of psychiatric medication.  I am LDS…I follow the tenets of the gospel as taught by Jesus Christ…please be aware that I am ONLY interested in joining a group of similar people (you don’t have to be LDS…but yes, you have to have integrity, be honest, hard working, etc).  Please consider me for membership in your group…I am willing to entertain any invitation that is extended.  Please correspond with me via email: [email protected]  Thank you

PS: I am currently is possession of the required gear to actively pursue my various hobbies, and professional pursuits.

I am not a group or organization, nor do I teach any classes.  I am a Woodswoman/Survivalist seeking Survivalists and Preppers in their 30’s and 40’s.  I am located in Upper Marlboro, and looking for people with a lot of stamina, within reasonable distance for weekend excursions into the woods and possibly camping at some point.  Big game hunters and gun enthusiasts welcome.

I believe that work compatibility is just as important for survival in the woods as skill set, which is why I am appealing to this age group.

Hello, we are looking for families or individuals to join our group.

We are offering a safe location to retreat to in the event of a crisis in exchange for help with security and everyday tasks.

We have housing infrastructure in place for around 20-25 members on roughly 50 acres with gardens, orchard, chickens, off-grid power, defensive positions and back up water sources. Everything is setup and ready to go. There is also a written contract in place to protect everyone’s interests.

Our members our expected to have at least a year supply of food, other supplies, personal defense and ammo. New members are given a timeline to acquire food and supplies to be fair to existing members. Everyone must be an asset and not a liability.

We prep for anything that might make cause for martial law.  (Financial collapse, cyber-attack, epidemic, war, EMP, Carrington Event, major Cascadia earthquake or at New Madrid.)

Please reply only if you live or are willing to move to within roughly 75 miles of Sandpoint, ID.

We don’t meet in person right away, only after learning more about each other first through emails.

If you would like to contact us we prefer if you use an encrypted email address such as Protonmail or Hushmail just for a little more security.

If you are interested you can email us at js47783 [at] protonmail [dot] com

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello, our group is in the Branson, Mo area and interested in speaking with people that have structured goals and prepping skills. We are army trained and police background so we need serious candidates that would enjoy 500 acres of ground. Looking for able bodied, likeminded individuals, couples and possibly families. Currently, we would like help with large scale gardening, animal care, chores, mowing etc, we have over 2 miles of river frontage and a park like setting. We do not need drama, issues or welfare recipients, all of us work 80+ hours at work and at our site.

Further inquiries are face to face and we back ground check every person wishing to join us. We have over 18 years at this location and only intend to improve it. We can be reached at showmeacure at gmail dot com.

Thanks,
MJ

I was recently with a prepper group. Like minded working on a complete off grid life. Gardens, fields, livestock all brought in. Wells drilled. Construction of buildings for housing, storage and livestock.

What I brought to the group, 15 years combat medicine. An understanding of theoretical physics. Off the grid engineering. A medic is useful but only if you are injured. My knowledge of physics and engineering is what was most beneficial. Understanding how to build fuel cells. Using water to power a combustion engine. Building generators that were self powering, required no fuel once started. A generator powered by gravity (now this one been having output issues, works just not much energy)

Other then basic maintenance and replacing worn parts, everything wears out in time. The generators and fuel cells were no cost. It allowed for things to be built more remote. Allowed for basic creature comforts. Allowed for construction of aquaponic systems. The cost to run pumps and lights negated.

I am no longer with the group. Their direction becoming more militia style. Not my style, I prefer to remain unnoticed.

Now, I am not looking for a particular group. In a position with friends of 20+ years. Individuals I trust with my life. I do still actively work on my little projects. Still build items, test items and work to better and get more out of them. Such as the fuel cell, attempting to build a grill/stove/fire place that burns water.

What I offer to a group or individual is the ability to become more self sufficient and more off grid. I can and will consider building certain items. Obviously nothing is free, there is a materials cost, fair compensation for the time it takes.

I have seen various groups, as mentioned was part of a group. I will not disclose my location for personal safety concerns. I will only meet in a public location of my choosing. And it is highly likely you would meet only a messenger.

What I can do for you, off the grid. Provide electricity with no emissions. Little to no heat signature. Fuel cells (these are rather expensive to build, depending on what it is for extremely heavy). A smaller version can run a chain saw. Connecting your saw to the cell similar to having an electric saw. The power is not as great on the saw as gas, the fact powered by water a fair trade. Antenna systems…tv, wifi, radio. Glow lights, solar recharging glow sticks. No solar panels, I use chemicals that store solar energy, react with each other producing light. Stable fire starters, I have used a single tea spoon to start a fire using damp and green wood. Depending what your need is, I might be able to help. Maybe build a small cabin, trailer portable with a generator, water catchment, antenna. Toss in a wireless system to charge your cell phone or two way radio.

We’re seeking someone with information gathering, surveillance and reconnaissance skills: we’re in need of a trained/experienced scout that can operate effectively within a forested environment; alone at times.  We have NVD & thermal imaging technology as well as suppression capabilities if need be available for your night ops.  We are located in the northern portion of the lower peninsula of Michigan in a very rural, hilly forested area.  SERE and similar training will be considered but no phonies or wannabes please: your credentials will be verified and your skills tested.  You will have to meet the minimum general requirements for membership.  Arriving with nothing but hungry mouths and the shirts on your backs is not an option.

In return you will be welcomed into a well established group of excellent people with quality skills, prepped up beyond what most groups require and an excellent retreat sight for you and your family.  We have a medical unit of doctors & nurses.  Unless you’re a millionaire you won’t find a better, safer place for your yourself and included family.  For further information hmu…

Hey everyone,

Really new to this. I’ve always been all about making sure to save things and not be wasteful, and have emergency supplies “just in case.” With the way the world is going, though, I want to do something more palpable, focused, and purposeful. I know there’s plenty of preppers in Idaho in Boise and northward. I live in Southeastern Idaho, though, so I wouldn’t be opposed to getting input, help, advice, etc. from experienced people in Utah, Montana, or Wyoming, too.

Thank you for adding me, I look forward to networking with you all.

Looking for self reliant hard working people. The time is getting shorter to be in a good place with good people.

We think rocky mountain montana is a good place.  We are interested in meeting real people who live in the area or are contemplating moving . God helps the helpless but the rest of us have to chop wood and carry water.

Looking at this ad it is a bit light on info. I could tell you all the things we have stockpiled for the last 25 years, the skills we have learned and the continuing self reliant things we are doing. But that wouldn’t probably impress the people that have not done things like dig a shelter, can produce, get a RN degree, work in a generator and ATV shop for 30 years, build a couple of houses from scratch and are currently raising a teenager. Plus laying out too much info is bad for opsec.

Southwestern Oregon Preppers (SWOP) will be holding a meeting at Noon on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at COB Cottage Company, 94006 Ginger, Coquille, OR 97423.

We will be learning how to build with COB. The word cob comes from an old English root meaning a lump or rounded mass. Cob building uses hands and feet to form lumps of earth mixed with sand and straw, a sensory and aesthetic experience similar to sculpting with clay. You will get dirty so wear appropriate clothing.

SWOP meetings always start with a question and answer period before the main topic so all in attendance get a chance to participate.

This is a free public meeting to get to know fellow local preppers in southwestern Oregon counties and to exchange information and ideas. It is important for individuals to understand that they will be “on their own” in the event of a disaster and not to depend on receiving outside help. Join Southwestern Oregon Preppers on Facebook and/or meetup.com
