I’m 33, male, in good health, and have no prepping skills.  My work has been in mental health, technical support.  I’ve just recently realized how bad things are and am looking to see if there are groups that accept untrained people this late in the game.  All I have is some food stockpiled, a firearm, and some basic supplies.  I can pay for any of my own supplies.  It’s knowledge and experience I need.  I appreciate any advice.

We have just relocated to the monteagle Tennessee area. Left behind a small team that was more family than team and now looking to rebuild or join a group that is team/family.

Would like to see if there are others in the area that are active

Southwestern Oregon Preppers (SWOP) will be holding its monthly meeting at Noon PM on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Sturdivant Park, Hwy 42S, Coquille, OR, 97423.  We will be in the big gazebo. Dress warm and bring a chair.

The main topic is “HOW TO USE YOUR $1,400 STIMULUS TO PREPARE”.  This will be a round table discussion of how to use your stimulus check to prepare.  Topics will include debt reduction, saving, what to buy, how to invest, etc… The world as we knew it is no longer and we must adjust accordingly.

SWOP meetings always start with a question and answer period before the main topic so all in attendance get a chance to participate.

This is a free public meeting to get to know fellow local preppers in southwestern Oregon counties and to exchange information and ideas.  It is important for individuals to understand that they will be “on their own” in the event of a disaster and not depend on receiving outside help.  Join Southwestern Oregon Preppers on Facebook and/or meetup.com.

We are now taking applications to join our non-denominational sustainable Christian Community in the mountains of BC.  A Statement of Faith has been adopted and a comprehensive vision and method of self governance in accordance with Biblical principles, based on the Law of Love is being drafted by ourLeadership council.

The 200 acre remote property is a twohour drive from the city and includes 11 fenced off acres with gardens, orchards, pastures, barn, a large communal gathering/eating/office building and housing for at least 30 people. All buildings are of the highest workmanship and have been well maintained. There are also laundry facilities, luxury outhouses, four wells, an irrigation system, an industrial workshop with heavy equipment and back up propane generators. Theriverfront wilderness includes a swimming hole, an exquisitely designed house of worship, a 10acrecampground with 5 off grid riverfront cabins and RV sites, multiple outhouses and a central showerhouse.   With food already growing in abundance, sustainability is within reach and labour can be focused on necessities like establishing a greenhouse, garden andbackup power grid.

If you love the Lord, nature and long for a simple lifestyle built on faith, family and community we invite you to contact us at your earliest convenience at [email protected]

I just read through the posts on this string and all seem to be at least months old.  I thought I would start with a little background about me and see if there may be others who have/are similarly experiencing what I am.   I am a Christian, have watched the world’s events for years, and have recently moved to NWA as I felt lead, by the Lord, to do so.  So, I retired, packed up, and moved.  I am here a couple of months, getting acclimated and feel an intense desire to help in the preparation(s) of a place that will be a shelter,  a support, and will supply basic needs for other like minded individuals.  If this sounds familiar, and others are feeling lead accordingly, or would like to talk this through, please let me know.  I don’t have all the answers, only a desire to help as the Lord leads me.   Thank you.  Reply or email me 2021fgm gmail.

Hi,

We are a Homestead located off grid in the aquarius mountains in northwestern Arizona.  We are looking for members who want to be a part of the community, participate in chores and projects and help make self sustaining living a reality for our community.  We have a farm, greenhouse and are finishing our the infrastructure.  We need people who can help and want to live this lifestyle.

Hi all – I’ve been prepping in earnest since the Y2K scare.  I’m an IT Consultant by day (that’s why Y2K freaked me out!) and am an advanced martial arts and self-defense instructor (20+ years).  From storing food, investing in water filtration, and building Faraday cages to store my electronics after an EMP to stockpiling guns & ammo, making my own medical-grade colloidal silver (anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal) and much more, I bring a lot to the table and have invested heavily over the past 20 years.  I have advanced survival skills, first aid skills (plus many first aid supplies), and firearms skills plus other skills – carpentry, electrical, farming, etc.  I have a huge survival library that I have built over the years including information on natural medicinal cures from plants, booby traps, fortification, etc.  I’ve also written several books on survival and self-defense myself.  I can teach others and I am capable of handling much that would be asked of me.

I’m looking for others who are serious about preparing, like-minded and willing to work and invest time and resources in our future together.

I’m looking for like-minded people to join me and my tight-knit group to weather this storm no matter how bad it gets and how long it takes.  We prepare JUST IN CASE.  Not preparing is not an option; that’s why we are in this group.

My biggest gap in my preps is a separate bugout location that can be made ready for long-term survival.  I have alternates, but would love to find someone with decent acreage / land that has one or more water sources on it (stream, lake, pond, well) than can be farmed and fortified.  I have the ability to filter many millions of gallons of water.

Reach out to me at mr.pjcpete @ g m a i l . c o m with the Subject “Prepper Groups Inquiry” if you want to touch base and see if we are a fit to move forward.

I am in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area. (NEPA)

Good luck prepping!

-Pete

Our area now has a new prepper group that started 4 March 21.

We have objectives such as 2 broad fields of discussion and development: health care and machinery ranging from batteries to windmills.

Quarantine restrictions governing, we initiated a visit to a well established prepper group.

Already volunteered to help state’s vaccination program.

At meeting, distributed mental health awareness publication.

We are governed by the FEMA doctrine “Prepare for realistic, worst case scenerios”.

I’m testing to see if there’s any interest in starting a group of emergency preparedness-minded folks around Corvallis, Albany, and Lebanon, Oregon.

The group would be family-friendly, with an eye toward mutual assistance (MAG), training (defense, gardening, alternative power, bush craft, homesteading, etc.). Meet-ups would be at least once a month at someplace local, and training would be done informally by members of the group.

We are a couple who has recently moved from the coast to the mountains. Obviously being new in the area we are looking not only for like minded people, but also a group who understands the concept of being prepared for hard times be it natural or man made issues. We do not believe that “lone wolfing it” is an extremely viable option because every individual brings skills, knowledge, and different experiences to the table. Our goal is to find a good group or, if there are none that fit our criteria, to build a group from scratch. If you are part of a group, or are interested in being part of one, please email us at [email protected]
