Our group has met through Preppernet, Freedomcells and others. We are currently looking for a couple more members for our platform independent SoCal prepping Group.
At the moment we are covering SB County, Orange, LA and Inland Empire. While we have members in NV we are trying to focus on SoCal for practical reasons. We are looking for a total of around 16 members excluding children before we close it for new entries in order to remain effective and responsive. Quality over quantity.
What are the requirements other than interest in Prepping, a desire for Freedom and the awareness that things are likely about to go South?
Impeccable moral conduct, trustworthiness and reliability. It’s all about trust. Skills are a bonus. We are meeting regularly on video calls but also in person. Kids are welcome so are likeminded spouses. Please be aware this is an active group that requires some commitment so it’s not suited for lurking. Sounds good?

Any other SoCal preppers on here ? I know, I know – ‘Git Out Them Big Cities Now !!! ‘ Just not in my cards for a while, unfortunately.
I have basic CPR/Med training and supplies. We grow most of our own root vegetables and greens out of our small garden. We have 4 months of preps on hand – 6 if we rationed it. We hike and mountain bike and I hit the range once a month.
Trying to get wifey more on board with that, she knows her way around a Glock at least. If SHTF really hits our Nation and living in the city is no longer tenable, we have access to two different BOLs with running water. Getting there is the challenge of course, and we are prepped for that as best as we can be. My family and I are not the hardest-core preppers out there but we have a good start, so I feel the next step for us is to get involved in a place like this and make some contacts and establish a MAG in some capacity or other.
Most of our neighbors have their heads completely up their *sses, can’t even talk to them about earthquake preparedness. I’m done wasting my breath in that department, so I hope this bears fruit.

Hello all, my name is Victoria Rose, and I am in search of a Prepper Community. I currently live in Randolph County, N.C.
I am also a Prepper 13 years now. I started Prepping in South Florida, but moved up to N.C. 10 years ago, to live a more meaningful life, less people, and more wildlife. I raise & butcher chickens and rabbits for meat, as well as can, dehydrate, and grow my own fruits and vegetables. I am a Veteran Army Medic 💜
P.S., I will be looking to buy a bigger piece of property this summer, preferably closer to Western North Carolina. 😀

The wife and I have moved back to western Colorado. We are locking for other prepers or prepper groups in our general area. We are well prepared and improving our readiness daily. Central montana mutual assistance group. We have things and knowledge and have been doing this quite a while. We have not taken the covid vax and choose not to be in close proximity to those that have. We are looking for others either already in Montana or those that are ready to move here to escape the crazyness that seems so rampant. We are close enough to town to work and early this spring we will have the resources for a privately developed fully owned fall back property with spaces for rent for other like minded people.
Montana is still not enforcing jab mandates and there are jobs. If you don’t want to take the covid jab check out austrailia and austria and a few other countries and what they are doing to the unvaccinated. If you have children, protect them.

I have been a Prepper since long before that term came to be. Currently I am single but that may change here soon. I have a 14 year old daughter that means the world to me and I have legal custody. I work in aviation as an inspector. For years I worked as a Technician so I know my way around mechanical things and have all the tools.
I have build a couple of “houses” in Mexico, fabricated my rabbit hutches, tree houses and chicken coops from recycled items so I am a bit of a scrounger.
I currently raise meat rabbits, chickens for eggs and have a semi-successful vegetable garden. I reload ammo, make my own hardtack and dehydrate veggies. The sweetest smell in the world is mushrooms dehydrating…..
I was in the NG for 6 years. My MOS was 31C: radio-teletype operator (encrypted messaging via HAM). I do not have a license but I am in the process of accumulating the equipment. I am also looking into mesh networks, (sms via cell phones over a private network).
I have all the usual boxes ticked off on the normal Prepper Checklist and a few that my be considered outside the norm. I and mine will not be a burden to anyone.
I have several friends who are also in the aviation industry and together we are beginning to look pretty seriously (as in going to see) at purchasing some property with or without structures for the purpose of a refuge if it comes to that.
Personally I see three major events on the horizon (I call them “The Unholy Trinity”). Covid or the Plandemic. The death of the Dollar or Great Reset. And the Grand Solar Minimum. All three are converging. It will be epic. So says I. I call myself a Christian but do not push it onto anyone else.

The biggest threat I see is that people will not make the mental transition from normal to not normal in the required timeframe. Normalcy bias will be the end of many peeps.
As far as my goals are concerned it is short and sweet: “Lone Wolves Die Fast.” I am not locked rigidly into one concrete box. Flexibility will be the name of the game. I have heard it stated, and I believe quite rightly so that moral incompatibility is the quickest death of any group. I am not looking for the Hells Angels or Jim Jones. I am looking for hardy people who would like to live a mutually beneficial lifestyle and if things get too bad retrograde to a semi-self sufficient location.

Southwestern Oregon Preppers (SWOP) will be holding its monthly meeting at Noon on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Sturdivant Park, Hwy 42S, Coquille, OR, 97423. We will be in the big gazebo. Bring a chair and dress warm.
The main topic is “NUTRITION IN 2022 AND BEYOND”. Shortages are here and so is inflation. Store shelves are no longer full. The discussion will focus on what one needs to do to make sure they are prepared to get the nourishment needed to survive and maintain health.
SWOP meetings always start with a question and answer period before the main topic so all in attendance get a chance to participate.
This is a free public meeting to get to know fellow local preppers in southwestern Oregon counties and to exchange information and ideas. It is important for individuals to understand that they will be “on their own” in the event of a disaster and not depend on receiving outside help.
