Well, we did it. Got prepared ahead of the crisis, got a year’s supply of food, stored water, gathered medicines, seeds, tools, and various supplies, learned, trained, and talked out the details.

On the other hand…We missed the bus for the hills. With a 9 month old who has fought to live every minute of her life, we simply couldn’t leave our suburban shelter. Now we hunker down and wait out this crisis until we can safely GOOD.

Looking for others who might be in this kind of situation, and for anyone who may be willing to discuss the future should we survive this pandemic.

  1. Hang in there, prayers for your daughter. We are far away from you but quite happy with what we have done so far. It is possible to get situated in a better place.

    • Thank you for your prayers, they are always welcomed and reciprocated!

It’s good to know decent folks that prepared well for this eventuality are doing well. We wish you the best of luck where you are, and perhaps we may find ourselves in your neck of the woods in the future.

For now, we pray and stay vigilant where we are, always watchful for an opportunity to get out.

  2. Hang in there , our prayers for all of you, we are in California epic center of lies and getting ready for everything to collapse, we also might have missed the boat, but are willing to work with others. if we are still here we can be of help if needed.Good luck and God Bless

Your offers of help are also appreciated, a character trait we also try to embody in our lives. We’re pretty secure here, but we are still trying to discretely and safely counter misinformation, and offer help and prayer to those around us who are desperate and/or despondent. Difficult to maintain proper opsec and security sometimes, but we’ve been planning and training for years on how to deal with this type of scenario, so we should be ok for the short term at least.

I hope to stay in touch if possible, but if not, good luck and may God Bless you and yours!
