I am widowed as of 2013, live alone and have been blind since around age 24 but had two wonderful careers. Retired fromAT&T in 1992 and moved from Little Rock here to near Batesville, AR in 2011. I do my own cooking, cleaning and have been an extra class ham operator since 1967 and have been prepping since 3 days after 9/11/2001 and pretty well have most everything I need including a few shotguns and some rifles for others to use if needed in defending my neighborhood but do enjoy instinctive (sound) shooting and do fairly well with both pistol and shotgun. I hope someday to find someone (female) interested in combining forces to survive the predicted coming changes in our world. I am an amateur musician, (guitar, dobro, mandolin) in bluegrass and bluegrass gospel and have various groups that go around and perform at churches in this area. I am 50 years a piano tuner as an avocation and used the income from it to put my daughter through college and she is now gainfully employed as an Art teacher at a church school in Little Rock, AR. besides the normal skills I have developed on my own for surviving, I do some arts and craft work work and was raised on a farm near here as a kid and still remember the fun of slopping the hogs, cleaning stalls for the cows and horses and can still do it, however not as quickly and as long as I used to! (LOL) I am someone trying to be a Christian, believing there is only one God and he gave his Son to die for our sins on the cross and that is my comfort when the going gets tough. I pray for all of you that things don't go down the way they appear to be going right now but if they do I pray you will receive God's blessings and make it through.
