Our first meeting was a great success with 47 people in attendance. We passed around a sheet to find out what everyone was interested in learning. Canning was at the top of the list so we found an experienced instructor for our July event. I hope to keep these going monthly.

I live with my three dogs and eight cats on 380 acres of secluded, wooded, hilly countryside here in northeastern Appalachian Kentucky and would like to find others who are ‘animal people’. Although non-vegetarians would be fine – what I would never consent to is allowing hunting on the property nor the slaughtering of farm animals here. There is a new group forming. Currently have 4 families involved. Meeting in Algonquin, usually at the library. We are open to other like minded people. Next meeting will be in mid July. Agenda for that meeting is to bring a book from your “prepper” library, preferably an area that you have knowledge of or experience in. For instance, I will be bringing book on gardening, others on herbal remedies etc. Meeting date/time July 13th, 7:00 pm. I will post location soon.

I live in Iowa. I am seeking to connect with others that are wanting to prepare themselves to survive the chaos erupting in the United States.
I am 55 years old. I have a unique spiritual belief system. I collect wild herbs and flower, as well as roots and bark for nutrition and medicinal purposes. I have been working with infusions extracts and tinctures for a few years now. I know that these things can be the difference between survival and death in the times where you can no longer seek medical attention or go to a pharmacy for medication.
My knowledge of this art is my strongest asset to contribute.
My weakness is the lack of likeminded people to share and exchange ideas with.

Howdy. I just moved to Piqua a few months ago from chicago. I am interested in finding some like minded people. As things get crazier and just plan stupid it reminds me why we do what we do. Ive kinda been doing things on my own for a few years but think its time to finally start working with other people. Ive only been in the area a short time so i don’t know the area very well. Hey there I am new to Florida. Looking to meet up with other like-minded people to go through it together when shtf.

My hubby and myself are almost 50. We have a 9yo daughter.

I had already prepped a lot of stuff once but had to leave most of it behind in the move.

I dreamt about 2 weeks to start a garden so I am starting a garden (lol) and trying to connect with other preppers while there is still time.

I believe that the only way I will get through this is with others and my faith in God. I am not equipped mentally, physically, or spiritually to handle what is to come but I know a man who can.

We are not judgmental and would like to work with others regardless of their faith or lack of faith. I tend to prefer to be around other non-judgmental people and easy going people.

We are a peaceful family and wish to join others who are like-minded in that regard.

Love you all and sending hugs to everyone who is anxious for the life storms that are about to come our way soon. xx

Hi there,

We’re new to this forum and looking to move very soon from the Tampa, fl area to South West Florida. (July 2022)  We’re a preparedness focused youngish recently married couple looking to connect with other preparedness minded people in that area of Florida. I’m fit, friendly and in my 40’s and my wife’s a little younger. I’ve been interested in preparedness since 2001 but serious about it since about 2012. My wife has been getting more and more on board as the reality of our country’s situation becomes more apparent.

-Fit

– Mechanically inclined

– Creative problem solving

-Food production and self reliance

-Security focused

We’ve met some good people in the Tampa area but are now looking to move to Southwest Florida and want to reach out first. Food self reliance and production along with security are top priority and we’re learning and expanding our knowledge and skillsets. We read and study often. We’re creative problem-solvers and looking to meet good  people in the real word rather than the internet with the eventual goal of being part of a tight knit, focused group of people. I believe fitness is your biggest prep and think doing your best in that department is important.

I agree with a lot of the pepper philosophies of Viking Preparedness, Bear Independent ect and understand the value and necessity of strong community and a tight group who can rely on each other in serious times. There is strength in that.

 

Overall, just looking to meet new cool people.

Hello from rocky mountain montana. We live outside a city of 35K people just over the continental divide. Montana never has had a vax mandate and we are not vaxxed and don’t care to spend a lot of time with people that are vaxxed

We are looking for others who want to live with wood heat, solar pumped well, a few chickens, close to a major river and a few lakes and grow a big garden.

Hi All

Looking to communicate with like minded people and figure out a bug out plan.

Thinking about a group of individuals workinig together to formulate strategies for food & water storage , firearms and ammunition or other hunting essentials + all other apsects required when TSHTF situation.

I’m interested in finding a group of likeminded people near me, in order to trade skills/ information, as well as to plan for a worst case scenario. I have skills in emergency medicine, basic firearms training, and food preservation. I’m easy to get along with, work in the electrical industry, and have enough supply to pull my own weight for a year with minimal hunting/ forging.  My wife has a military background, as well as linguistic skills. We are both non religious, but value pragmatic, trustworthy people regardless of faith. Looking for a group of preppers in Dallas or east Texas.  I am a former special forces US Marine looking for a group of people that are like minded.  I have been prepping since 2000.  I can train people how to fight and survive, any where, any time.  I have everything….. land, beans, bullets, band aids, ect.  I have 4 degrees….. Don’t know how to use and navigate this site yet.  Just joined a few minutes ago in an effort to meet like-minded people who know what is coming and want to prepare for the worst.

I am in the Geneva/St. Charles area in Illinois. I am a total newbie to prepping. I feel like I have a decent background that gives me some practical base knowledge as I grew up backpacking in the Sierras, I was in the Military in the Northwest for 8 years and have gone through some basic survival and combat training (not actual combat because when I was in there were no conflicts, just don’t want to be one of those guys trying to act like they’re something they’re not. Guys like that are reprehensible to me).

So I have a basic understanding of freeze dried food, MRE’s, and other storable food, chemical warfare training, being able to live off the land, etc. HOWEVER! Man there is a lot out there to choose from when supplying up. I’m sure most of it is good stuff but I just don’t want to stockpile something that looked good online but in reality isn’t worth the money. I also have limited knowledge of shelf life, quantities, and types of food to store.

I also think it would be fun to just meet some folks near me and make some like minded connections. I’m a big proponent of not reinventing the wheel, I’d love to find a mentor or mentors near me to connect and compare notes.

So is there a group in or near the area I mentioned that meets?

We (family of 3) have been in North Idaho for almost a year and are looking to seriously connect with like-minded Christian-conservative preppers that are local to us in the St.M -Medimont area. We have homesteading skills, gardening, raising small livestock, fencing, light carpentry, food preservation, some basic medical knowledge and are firm 2A proponents. This is a different kind of post and I hope it is okay.   We are west of Deer Park, WA, right now, in a rental house on shared acreage for the last 6-1/2 years.  Just Monday, out of the blue, our landlord says she needs this house for a family member and we have to be out by May 31.  Rental market is pretty slim overall right now, and when you throw in goats, poultry, dogs and cats into the mix, it is really slim pickings..  Right now, our thought is to just find some land to rent and put a shed and outfitter’s tent on it.  Ideally we would like to be very rural in Stevens, Pend Oreille or Ferry County in WA or Bonner or Boundary County in ID.  Husband is an RN and can get work just about anywhere, if it’s not commuting distance to his current job.  We have t-posts and fencing we would put up to corral the animals (we don’t even let our dogs roam free).  Water and electric would be nice, but off-grid is okay too as we have spent the last several years preparing as much as we can for off-grid living.  Please email at [email protected]
