The Curry County Community Emergency Management Team (C.E.R.T.) will be holding a meeting at 2:30 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Emergency Management Office, 94235 Moore Street, Gold Beach, OR. The office is in the northeast end of the courthouse building, bottom floor, next to the jail.
The main topic is “DISASTER SURVIVAL PLANNING WORKSHOPS FOR FAMILIES”. Bring your plan to the workshop. If you do not have a plan to bring that is OK, you will have one to take home when you leave. Bring paper and pencil. Attend this workshop to help your family, whether large or small, survive a disaster. There will be a question and answer period.
This is a free public meeting. It is important for individuals to understand they will be “on their own” in the event of a disaster and not to depend on receiving outside help.
