Greetings Western North Carolina

Survivalust and Mountaindo!  Here.  We are looking for like minded People who want to learn, grow and practice survival skills.

Based in Western North Carolina inside of Haywood County, We share our passion and adventures from a Christian perspective.  Simply put we love Jesus Christ and HE is our Savior. We enjoy hiking, camping, prepping, hunting, fishing, cooking, travel, homesteading and LIFE. 

We practice survival skills because we feel the importance of reaching a self sustaining lifestyle should be a priority for all.  Join in the adventures as we all learn, grow and travel from camp fire to mountain peak and all points in between. 

SURVIVALUST –

Born and raised in a Military environment by his father, who served in the UNITED STATES NAVY as a S.E.R.E ( Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape ) school instructor. Building upon that knowledge gained, his passion stems from spending actual extended periods of time living in the woods off grid, as well as gaining experience from becoming homeless early in life.  Traveling all across the globe, surviving many natural disasters as well as suffering severe personal tragedies, he shares true stories and along with the experience of teaching youth survival skills as the Director of Royal Ambassadors  (akin to a Christian Boy Scout organization ), he has logged countless miles in all weather conditions and elevations from the Pacific North West to the Carpathian mountains of Romania.  As a self-employed licensed General Contractor and educated Theologian,  Survivalust shows you his unique approach to survival, learn practical methods all through the lens of his deep and profound knowledge of the Scriptures that he has followed for nearly 36 years as a Believer. His teachings are simple yet profound, his outlook is positive and genuine as he brings you down the path less traveled both spiritually and physically.  He presents you with practical application, suggestions on equipment, and will help you develop the skill sets you will need in order to face both this concrete and wooded jungle.

MOUNTAINDO –

His wife, Mountaindo, born in the Smokey Mountains and raised on a homesteading farm she is the youngest along with 6 other siblings. Discipline, cooperation and sacrifice define her quiver.  Besides making some of the best campfire recipes, her knowledge for security and survival comes from giving and putting others first.  For her survival was not some remote concept but an actual way of life.  Her passion for cooking, gardening, health and fitness along with a love for wildlife both flora and fauna bring wonderful chemistry and a gentle spirit to the team. She will demonstrate to you no matter your background or personality you too can tackle all of life’s opportunities regardless the obstacle. Her testimony and courage is tested through the many wilderness experiences that she encounters from facing real dangers of putting oneself in the Appalachian backcountry.  Leave the curling iron behind and forget turn down service, Mountaindo will show you exactly what it is like to survive in an environment far from modern conveniences and cell coverage.

So please drop them a line as they would be excited to hear from you.  As empty nesters venturing out every weekend, this team of Bravados jumps trail side and discusses the importance of becoming independent and learning what is on top just on the other side.

Their anonymity is protected for online security reasons, they identify as Survivalust and Mountaindo their respective trail names.  Of course the persona of these trail names do indeed fit their personality; as Survival Lust is both a play on words meaning a strong inclination to survive no matter the conflict and Mountain Do because raised living in the Smokey Mountains you learn very quickly in order to survive there is not much you can not DO. They will be pleased to meet you now learn their first names…
