Currently I’m in the Mesa/Tempe. I’ve been gradually prepping over the last year for a SHTF scenario but it seems my plans will have to change. I’ve but been doing more to prepare to bug-in vs bug-out. However, considering the region I’m in and lack of resources (space, etc), it’s becoming painfully aware to me that it’s just not a sustainable way to go about this since gathering/storing water would just be too difficult in my current area. I have a bug-out bag with plans in I’m currently updating, but I think I’m going to focusing more on that than the former from this point onward.

I’m preparing to high-tail it up north at the first sign of a grid shut down and was just trying to find people talk about this with or possibly plan with. I’m a God-fearing male in my late 20s. Very lean but with no current health conditions. I previously ran a half-marathon and endurance is probably more of a strong point for me than anything else. I have knowledge to share about indoor gardening, shelter prepping, and solar. I know not all of that information may not be as useful in the outdoors. I still consider myself a fast learner and I’m ready and willing to adapt.

  1. We are in NE AZ in the white mountain area. We are looking for like minded people to combine energies with. We’ve posted here a few times as Happyoffgrid. Read more about what we are looking for and contact us if you are interested and we can see how we can help each other. Not looking for any trouble makers and must be willing to work as a team.
