Hello, I am introducing myself to Prepper Groups.

I am mother to three grown up sons. I currently live in Steveston, I have been here since 1999. I have a graphic design, visual arts background. After being at home for numerous years with my sons, I researched the field of welding and decided to train at UA (170) Piping College of BC (UAPICBC) in 2011-2012. I worked in the Industry until 2018. I am a Catholic Christian and I am looking to connect with other Christians and I am also open to meeting other like minded people who are also prepping for C O M I N G  C H A N G E S in our society that I believe will completely reconstruct our lives.

I like to write 🙂 I have journaled throughout my life and now have an old english suitcase from the 40’s chock-a-block full of journals. I started out with small locking diary type. I would find unique small, medium and larger journals to help me discover myself and my inner landscape. I was alone frequently and the library has always been a favourite place. The blessed invisible qualities and characteristics of life and our place in the world are discoverable. Life itself teaches us on its own terms.

I recently read a very good book by Author, Rod Dreher, entitled   L I V E  N O T  B Y  L I E S : A manual for Christian Dissidents, See https://thefederalist.com/2020/10/30/rod-drehers-live-not-by-lies-warns-of-the-new-totalitarianism/  

The “book takes its name from a from a 1974 essay by Alexander Solzhenitsyn” . I highly recommend it for any Christian in these times we are living in. Any Christian familiar with Richard Wurmbrandt will take an interest in this book. Richard Wurmbrandt was a Romanian Evangelical Lurtheran priest and professor of Jewish descent. In 1948, having become a Christian ten years before, he publicly said Communism and Christianity were incompatible.

I am interested in discussing and studying this group with other Christians and others who are interested in these topics.
