Just an update for the Oregon page;
A little about us;
The purpose of OTG is to develop the skills, mindset, and tactics required to protect ourselves, our families, and our communities is an emergency situation.
We also try to take the opportunity to make the most out of our time together when we are training, attending classes, and meetings as opportunities to build upon other skills; skills like first aid, communications, bush craft and camp cooking
What’s involved to join? In a word participation. Aside from the cost of your travel to and from event and whatever equipment you decide to buy we have no dues, or class fees. There are no minimum equipment requirements. if there is a cost associated with an event like a camp site fee it will be noted well ahead of time. Loaner equipment is often available. Unless noted OTG is a family friendly environment. Kids are welcome. Classes occur at least once a month, usually on or around the 3rd Saturday, and most often take place in Linn. Marion, Polk, Benton and Lane Counties, classes usually last from 2-6 hours depending on content. As often as possible we do overnight camping trips usually locally.
What we are; a small diverse group of folks sharing and developing critical survival and preparedness skills in a supported team environment.
We are not a militia or political group. We will not condone, encourage or support illegal activity. This includes, but is not limited to a “call to arms”, treasonous activity or overthrow of our elected officials by force of arms. Racism in any form will not be tolerated. Nor are we a forum for political discussions.
