I have had quite a few requests in the last couple of months for information on Prepper Groups for the Fayetteville and Wilmington areas. There are some groups, however they seem to be nothing happening or group in name only.  Therefore I am happy to announce the formation of the sub-group of the Eastern NC Preppers that will deal exclusively with the concerns of preppers in the area east of Fayetteville and I-95 east to the coast and south to the NC/SC border. I am hoping the first meeting will be last Saturday in April (27th). Stay Tuned for more details.

I propose the formation of a New Underground Railroad to assist in the transport of supplies, messages and personnel in a low to no tech fashion from one point to another with only a handful of people knowing all the routes to keep it very OpSec. A retreat (prepper) or camp (militia) is under no provisions to do this for free, however they will be responsible for manning a way station for incoming conductors, and assorted Railroad personages.

Please read and help me get the 1st official draft ready for submission to contact me email EasternNCPrepper with Friends of Levi in the subject header. I also need help with networking with Retreat and Camp Leaders to set up waystations.

Draft Proposal to the formation of a New Underground Railroad

Terms

Rail Barons – Rail Barons are people entrusted with the knowledge of all the Railroad.

Rail Masters – Rail Masters are required to keep accuate maps of the region and current station masters

Station Master – Station Masters are required to check their waypoints and ensure than any items at thier waypoint are taken care of

Conductors – Leaders of the Railways, they work to ensure that items are conducted from waypoint to waypoint in a safe and effective manner

Enforcers – partol the Railways looking for any dangers on the Railways

Stockholders – people or groups that provide support to the Railroad

Facemen – people or groups that assist and vet people looking for Waypoints and also to locate and aquire personel to help with the Railroad

Railways – the path(s) between the Waypoints

Waypoint – a location in which a station master checks to see if supplies, commucations or personel are at and require thier serivces to the next waypoint. Any services the station master provides can be free or at cost, the rail masters have no control over the costs. Waypoints will be secure locations away from any retreats or camps

I am the lead organizer of a 70 member group called the astern NC Preppers. Its mainly for Preppers east of Greensboro but open for everyone. We have a blog (Shameless Plug – http://talesfromaprepper.wordpress.com/) and working on a forum area of our own. As well as a email address EasternNCPrepper [at] gmail [dot] com

I have been prepping for 10 years, seriously the last couple. My core belief is having the skills and tools to survive rather than having the goods and gear. I started this multi-site group for the following reasons

- Networking with your fellow Prepper and Miltia member

- Idea mixing

- Skill set cross-training

- Forge bonds for when they are needed

I have been prepping for 10 years, seriously the last couple. My core believe is having the skills and tools to survive rather than having the goods and gear. I believe that in the near future we will experience a nationwide emergency in which martial law will be declared. I started this multi-site group for the following reasons

- Networking with your fellow Homesteader, Defender and Survivalist
- Idea mixing
- Skill set cross-training
- Forge bonds for when they are needed

I have introduced Prepper Levels and Prepper subtypes to the local prepper groups and hopefully nationally (http://talesfromaprepper.wordpress.com/category/prepper-levels/)

Lastly we have a meeting in May please come and join the fun.

Eastern NC Preppers is a new group for fellow peppers, survivalists and homesteaders of all levels to get together share ideas and network. For when things go south its going to be hard for one person to survival without help (doesn’t mean you need to be in a group however it would be nice to know people you can trade with and no automatically get shot at)

William Umstead Park -  Shelter #2 at the CrabTree Location

Friends are welcome, shelter is for 20 people but I don’t think they are going to be too put out if a few over that show (as long as we don’t have like 3,000 show)

Park Info - http://www.ncparks.gov/Visit/parks/wium/main.php

Agenda -

- Meet and Greet
- Goals and Direction of the Group
