prepper

We are a small Christian group of about a dozen in the Mountains of WV. on 183 acres. Our small group is moving slowly forward developing the land and relations with each other. My wife and I have been married for 39+ years. My wife and youngest son 27 are on board helping with our homestead. We are totally into prepping and are moving into a new lifestyle of living off-grid while working in and with the community. Currently, we have Solar power, spring water, and a compost toilet. I'm not of the opinion that being on the run after whatever will happen is the best option as roving bands will soon find their own end. I like the approach of invisibility using tactics that restrict and discourage intrusion. Then if necessary using whatever it takes to protect our group. I see no other way than an off-grid self-sufficient living environment as an established lifestyle. Not falling back trying to set up in the face of an emergence and establishing a new and untested way of life. With a group that has not been tested by working and dealing with daily life issues before a crisis.
