Hello,

My name is Miles, and I’m looking to join a group of apocalypse preppers in Connecticut or New York. The city isn’t far from where I live so transport is not a problem. I’m intelligent, resourceful, work well with a team, an dependable, and have survival skills and acess to a first aid kit. Please respond soon, so we can arrange a day and time to meet the group. Forgive me if this sounds informal, but I’ve never never tried to do anything like this before.

We are looking to connect, correspond, encourage, and be encouraged by any Christian Preppers in any of the New England states (Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island) and New York State.  We currently live in Massachusetts, but would like to relocate to a more rural area, possibly in one of these states (particularly VT, NH, Maine, or upstate NY). We would love to find friends who are both Christian and Preppers. It seems difficult to find both. We believe we should become self-reliant and move away from the cities, whether we are in the “end times” or not. As we see things becoming more restrictive, crazy, and society breaking down, we feel lead to simplify our lives and adopt a self-reliant lifestyle. While we believe the signs of the times certainly point to this being the last days, we do not want to be absolutely presumptuous at this time. However, we still see the great need to prepare in all areas of our lives, as things continue to deteriorate spiritually, economically, socially, morally, and physically. We often truly feel alone (my wife and I), so it would be great to hear from others of similar beliefs, even if you are from some other part of the country. As Christians, we believe the Holy Bible — we believe it all and love it all. We seek to be true followers of Jesus Christ. We do not belong to a particular denomination at this time, but we are essentially fundamental in doctrine. We are not dispensationalist, but we are fine if you are, as long as you believe in prepping as well. Thank you for taking the time to read our post. It would be great to hear from someone!

In Christ,

Dale and Julie

Hey guys my wife and I just recently joined the site. We are located in Central CT and we are starting to prep. My wife and I are going to start by being more self sufficient with chickens, large vegetable garden, canning and stocking up on canned goods. We are looking to get and share ideas with like minded folks in the region that have had success in the above mentioned areas. Glad to be here and we look forward to hearing back from people. Have a great day

I have been prepping since 2011, picking up necessities and building my emergency stocks.  My bugout strategy is strictly mobile but looking for a physical, long-term location.  Would like to connect with others to collaborate and exchange ideas.  I live in Connecticut, but can relay to other groups in New England area.

So I didnt realize I was a “prepper”. But on the eve of buying my second property and realizing that Ive spent the past year researching everything from rainwater catchment and seed saving, to building solar panels and rocket stoves…Im in deep. I have a plan, it includes my 20 acres in California and the upcoming 15 acres in Massachussets. I need advice, and a network. I joined this group, because I realize that many of us might need to travel to save our family. And wouldnt it be awesome if there were people along the way to help them on their mission. And wouldnt it be awesome if I were 1 of those people? So I kind of need help finding out how to build an underground bunker and a tree fort
