Hello,

Thinking of forming a group for single, unattached preppers co-op for those that need to lean on another in these hard and soon-to-be, all the more challenging times to come. I’m in northern New England. I will be creating a small grass-roots community that’s self sustainable, not a utopia (that’s what the real Heaven is for) but, this community makes it easier to live and thrive, stand a chance to better survive the approaching hard times.
We will barter, teach each other, learn skills such as foraging, food storage, ice house creation, etc… there can be Bible fellowship, herbal medicine classes, recycling and up cycling opportunities… these are a few suggested ideas.
As a member with us, and willing participants must be skilled, and have something to offer and bring to the table that can and will benefit the co-op.
There could also be a natural opportunity to grow friendship, chances of courtship to form couples and traditional marriage partnership.

I grew up living self sustainably and off grid long before the terms were cloned as used today. Life was literally like living in the 1800’s.
My entire life has been devoted to learning and utilizing the knowledge/skills to make life easier.
Tired of the daily grid and pulling the yoke society has grown accustomed to.
At 44, I’m getting back to my roots. Recently bought property in Alaska on a private lake. The area is vast wilderness, no roads, no cell service, or impact from the outside world. After an extensive search in 49 states, I picked this area for the abundant wildlife, fishing, foraging, freshwater opportunities, and the property is tax-free. I’ll never owe a property tax or be subject to any fees. No where else in the world can I live free till I die. That’s why I bought the property, it’s truly a paradise. 4 large rivers close by, two hot springs, and many other lakes, this area has amazing opportunities that are unlike anywhere I’ve been.
It would be greatly appreciated to find a lady to enjoy a life of simplicity and true happiness. I would also entertain a small group, but you’ll have to be approved by my vetting process.
Multiple degree holder, I am extremely proficient in medical related trauma, agronomy, biodynamic and true organic gardening on a sustainable level, food preservation in every form, carpentry, ecology, hide tanning, sinew and cording, making clothing/shoes, liquor, and any primitive skill imaginable.
I’ll be leaving for Alaska May, 2022.
Currently in central Washington.
I would enjoy sharing what I have with others, and pass it on to the next generation, because I’m not going to live forever.

Hello

I have 80 acres in Scurry Co Tx, near Snyder. I need someone (couples welcome) to come in with a travel trailer and help me to get it homesteaded/prepped.  The organized handy engineering-type (him) and homesteading ultra-conservative hippy type (her) would thrive out here! I would provide a place, water, sewage, electricity for 7-8 days of work a month.  Although some light daily chores will be needed as homesteading gets going.
Some items would be just being there when contractors work on things (oversight). Or get started with; greenhouse, gardens, chickens, goats, bees, compost, solar irrigation projects, HAM radio, defenses, some handyman items, etc.  Help to think out the next steps for preparations, store and organize current inventories.  Experiment with food crops/trees and write growing procedures for the SHTF.  A more significant project I want to tackle is an off-grid geothermal greenhouse with a hydroponics or aquaponics system.

The place is very scenic for West Texas and has a small recreational pond w/ covered dock, bbq pit, large shop 60×100 with restroom/shower. We have a forklift, loader/backhoe, tractor, small mini excavator, dump trailer, welders, metal lathe, and mill.  Additionally, I own a small manufacturing company nearby which could help fabricate preparations (think 2000 gal black solder fly container).

We can cover all out of pocket expenses, and if excess work is needed, we can supplement with pay.  I have a 1-ton welding truck if transportation needs to be negotiated (for personal use).

Additional benefits & lagniappe:

  • Having some of your own animals, garden space, canning/prep storage, etc.
  • Have another part-time job to supplement
  • Use the shop for personal use (just one project at a time, though)
  • Help me keep an eye out for auctions to add to the shop’s utility for SHTF scenarios.  I love auctions!
  • We have used the pond area/dock/bridge as a wedding venue and would be partial to allowing our prepping partner(s) to help manage it (currently not in use) and share in revenue $$$
  • Good bird hunting
  • Dear hunting lease in a neighboring county
  • Firearms are welcome
  • Horses welcome max 2
  • Friendly dogs welcome
  • USDA Zone 7b can grow nearly anything with water
  • If the SHTF, just stay on and ride it out with us!

We live in another town 45 min away, and our family is Messianic/Hebrew Roots.
