We are looking to add a few new members to our group with different skill sets.  Currently have very defensible location and finishing advanced preps.  It is only really cold here in coastal Maine 4 months out of the year and the summers are not to harsh to handle. We are far enough from the cities ect.

We hope to find good people who will grow to become great friends.  Getting to know each other and getting together to plan and prepare together and train together must be a priority.  It is necessary to work out all the details as a group before TSHTF and not scramble after to figure it out.  That can lead to a lot of fun training, and brainstorming and problem solving.  If you have military or medic skills please contact me.

If you are just new to prepping and haven’t really done anything to prepare yet then I don’t mind talking to you, but probably wouldn’t ask you to join our group, unless you are a heart surgeon or a Navy Seal. Lol.

We are looking for experienced individuals or small families that are fairly underway to being “prepared” but that feel they need to form a relationship with someone with a good bug out location to join forces for strength in numbers and for having others that grow to care about them when everything falls apart.

If this sounds like we might be a good fit PM me.  Also please do not try to get set up here as a bug out location, learn about our preps and then not actively “prep together” and just have us as your fall back.  That won’t work.  We are looking for serious people.

We are looking to connect, correspond, encourage, and be encouraged by any Christian Preppers in any of the New England states (Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island) and New York State.  We currently live in Massachusetts, but would like to relocate to a more rural area, possibly in one of these states (particularly VT, NH, Maine, or upstate NY). We would love to find friends who are both Christian and Preppers. It seems difficult to find both. We believe we should become self-reliant and move away from the cities, whether we are in the “end times” or not. As we see things becoming more restrictive, crazy, and society breaking down, we feel lead to simplify our lives and adopt a self-reliant lifestyle. While we believe the signs of the times certainly point to this being the last days, we do not want to be absolutely presumptuous at this time. However, we still see the great need to prepare in all areas of our lives, as things continue to deteriorate spiritually, economically, socially, morally, and physically. We often truly feel alone (my wife and I), so it would be great to hear from others of similar beliefs, even if you are from some other part of the country. As Christians, we believe the Holy Bible — we believe it all and love it all. We seek to be true followers of Jesus Christ. We do not belong to a particular denomination at this time, but we are essentially fundamental in doctrine. We are not dispensationalist, but we are fine if you are, as long as you believe in prepping as well. Thank you for taking the time to read our post. It would be great to hear from someone!

In Christ,

Dale and Julie

We (family of 4 myself36/wife35/son13/son6) are located in Maine.  We live on private 30 acres on a long dead end dirt road.  I believe that my property would be very defensible in SHTF with the right people.  We are currently doing many advanced preps that i will not go into.  We have a field started for garden/pasture approx 4 acres.  We have a large barn.  Starting to raise meat rabbits and chickens and will get goats in the spring.    We are also doing other medium scale things to our property to help with agricultural production and self sufficiency.    I think that it is important to be well rounded in my preps by having quality tactical gear, arms, ammo, ect. and important items to be able to charge batteries and other misc things like doing laundry, along with stocking up on other important items like food, canning supplies, tools for cutting fire wood ect.  But all in all none of it will amount to anything if I do not have two things in place… one being our ability to grow, raise, and preserve our own food and the other defending what we have at SHTF.

Currently we plan to have one other family join us when everything falls apart.  We are in need of someone with real tactical combat experience.  I’m not talking about someone who has been through boot camp and never deployed.  I am hoping to find an experienced military man that can train with us regularly before shtf and also help plan for strategic defenses of the property.  Also a medic would always be needed.  Aside from that I honestly think that some other local friends that i know that are prepping would be just fine if we needed more bodies.  All in all we are very well rounded. We make our own soap. Can fix vehicles, tinker, do carpentry, farm, ect.  I plan to have 4+/- families at our retreat after shtf.

Some basic requirements I would have would be regular biweekly/monthly training meetings, maintaining a years+ supply of food, byo AR-15 with ammo.  Always would welcome help ‘on the farm’ if you can make the time.  Heck i have 4 acres to plant so you could help and harvest and EAT  too.  I am not doing this to make a living, just want to learn to walk the walk the hard way before it is a necessity.  If qualified and relocating i would be willing to rent our other house out to you.  We are not looking for any free loaders before or after shtf.  Everyone must carry there own weight after shtf and before… well if we don’t work we don’t eat.  I would assume you would have or find a normal job ect.

Both families are genuine bible believing born again christians.  Although i myself and very much against the tide of modern day christianity and have only recently tried to start to go to church.  I have been a believer for 17 years and have a strong faith in Jesus and a very fluent bible knowledge.  Well, I’ve probably said too much about my plans, but i am hopeful that it will help bring forth some people who have some serious skill to join us.

Oh, if you already live in Maine and want to plan to bug out with us that could work too as long as we still would hold regular meeting/training schedule.  Hopefully if nothing else this leads to a life long friendship.

I have been prepping since 2011, picking up necessities and building my emergency stocks.  My bugout strategy is strictly mobile but looking for a physical, long-term location.  Would like to connect with others to collaborate and exchange ideas.  I live in Connecticut, but can relay to other groups in New England area.

So I didnt realize I was a “prepper”. But on the eve of buying my second property and realizing that Ive spent the past year researching everything from rainwater catchment and seed saving, to building solar panels and rocket stoves…Im in deep. I have a plan, it includes my 20 acres in California and the upcoming 15 acres in Massachussets. I need advice, and a network. I joined this group, because I realize that many of us might need to travel to save our family. And wouldnt it be awesome if there were people along the way to help them on their mission. And wouldnt it be awesome if I were 1 of those people? So I kind of need help finding out how to build an underground bunker and a tree fort

Community Description:
Have 100+ acres of hardwood & rocks, w/plenty of water – supremely defensible – need partners to develop. Beautiful rural area, some farms/tiny villages surrounded by thousands and thousands of acres of public access forest.
20 mi.s from tiny resortish village for odds & ends of employment – ski areas for one thing.
15 mi. from a very greeny/hippy small college town that is the county seat (also for employment as needed), has all sorts of Ag. Stores & a farmer’s market as well as a decent hospital.
I have an excavator, and a farm tractor w/a loader, finally bought a dump truck  to begin developing the land into a defensible farm retreat.
Also have bandsaw mill, woodsplitter, all construction tools & equipment – generators, etc., etc… 30 yrs. as a carpenter/builder/developer before becoming a realtor (know development regulations/procedure) .
Meanwhile continuing to develop present 6 acre mini-farm 1/2 hr. away for gardening & animals until big project is more under way.
At this point there are others who are interested, and I have placed 2 big travel trailers on the land . One to be enclosed in a solar double garage for temporary housing for myself . Your temporary housing would be welcome if you are in sync w/me.
No offense but please don’t contact me unless you are seriously considering a move to a group in a safer place, and please understand that my project is not developed, and will require a lot of physical work, but also – you will be on the ground floor, so to speak.
Thank you, and good luck to you all in this New Year .
