Hello, I am in my early 30’s and have a wife and young daughter. I was in the Marine Corps for a decade and posses various tactical, survival and defense skills in addition to supplies/weapons/gear. I am looking for a local group either in Monroe, NC or nearby that I can connect with to share knowledge, information and resources. Additionally, would like to find families/groups with land somewhat off the grid that wouldnt mind adding 3 people to their roster if it came to it. No issue with helping where needed or earning my keep.

Southwestern Oregon Preppers (SWOP) will be holding its monthly meeting at Noon, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 87616 18th Street SE, Bandon, OR 97411. Bring a chair.

The main topic is “Preparing for the Election Outcomes”. No matter who wins, we need to prepare for shortages, inflation, grid problems, crime, and more restrictions. We will discuss strategies and tactics.

SWOP meetings always start with a question and answer period before the main topic so all in attendance get a chance to participate.

This is a free public meeting to get to know fellow local preppers in southwestern Oregon counties and to exchange information and ideas. It is important for individuals to understand that they will be “on their own” in the event of a disaster and not depend on receiving outside help. Greetings:

Our chapter of Church Militant Resistance (a national organization) is looking for a local speaker to present a basic 101 talk on prepping for novices.  The speaker would have about an hour…(I know, not nearly enough time for a meaningful discussion on any given topic) and have access to audio-visual equip for use.  The idea, is to just introduce the topic of prepping to this audience, we their appetite.  The date would be December 10th from 1030am-noon and be held at the West Tampa Public Library’s, Garcia conference room.  That it is being held in a public building means we have to allow non-chapter members to attend…if any show-up, but that is ok with us.

Let me know if anyone out  is interested in this endeavor and what your presentation would consist of.

SW Washington-Clark County Area. Wife and I are looking for like minded people to get to know and possible meet up if things look good. We have been prepping for a while now and have pretty good skill sets all around. We are not experts at anything, but know a little about many things. We are a family and have local family as well. We have enough to take care of ourselves but would like to have a group at some point. Age is not as important as other things, but we are in our mid 40’s and 50’s with kids.
