I am s semi-new prepper, located in Northern NV, I have some supplies, and still collecting more. I have a family of 4, myself, my wife and our children ages 1 and 4. We both have skills, lots of weapons and ammo, food, water and various other supplies, and pretty good survival skills. We are both able to contribute in various ways. We are looking for a few people or families, to spit the cost of a undisclosed piece of land, and build a community of sorts, where everyone helps out and contributes, we could build several small houses, or something else… Or we could go to an established community, please name your price, pictures if possible, and what we need to do such as bring a rv, tent, a small house etc. Please respond with your email and I’ll reply asap.

Thank you,

Mike, Bri and the kids

For those of you in northern California, northwestern Nevada, southwestern Idaho and south eastern Oregon, or actually anywhere you are from is OK. A date for the first MEET & GREET for the Bison Ranch Safe zone, outline and planning for the community has been scheduled for the first weekend in May, please be advised that the weekend of the 4th through the 6th of May is set for our 1st meeting. You and your families; and of course your friends are all welcome to come early and saty late, and you can actually stay for however long you like, permanently if you choose to join me here under the criteria that will be explained at the meet and greet camp out. I have 80 acres sitting smack dab in the middle of Winema National Forest with a 12 acre pasture cleared so that you can come in Campers, trailers, motorhomes, tents, 4X4′s, etc. You can bring quads, motor bikes, and even horses. I have a fenced gated 2 acre horse corral with 2 20X20 gated paddocks. We all know that something is coming, just what it is no one can say. The smartest thing we can do is be prepared for it! I am here all the time! Send your emails to rasaare [at] hotmail [dot] com

I totaly agree with meeting people close to you, see what there doing and what not. But everyone believes what they want to believe. But people need to meet on this site from all over. Comment on peoples posts talk to each other. Because in this day and age with all the travel we do for fun and work, we never know where we will be when anything happens. So knowing more people like us only helps all of us in the long run. Thats my thoughts!!

I want to tell you about a local group that meets monthly (usually).
You can find it at meetup.com and we’re called The Las Vegas Road Warriors.
http://www.meetup.com/TheLas-VegasRoad-Warriors/
We cover topics such as food storage, comms, survival skills with campouts.

I’d been prepping for a couple of years before I found this group. We exchange ideas and knowledge on topics that are important to us preppers and that’s what I was missing when going it alone.

So check us out, our next meetup is March 18 and the topic will be defense tactics or strategies.

Hello, I’m looking for grounded and stable Las Vegas locals who are prepping but not obsessive. We live in an isolated geographic area with only a few travel routes and a long desolate way to go to get anywhere. I don’t have the resources to purchase land up North to build and stock a bunker to bug out to. That means just the food, water, and ammo is too heavy, takes up too much room, and eats up too much gas to get far enough to escape the desert. Even when there aren’t ten thousand other people clogging the road with cars that have either overheated, or are out of gas. I have a kind of turtle plan. I want to be able to stay low-key, filter the water in my pool, eat shelf stable goods, and defend my home and family for about three or four months until some kind of order is established, or I have no choice but to risk the road.  Thank God for canned meat, and bottled water.

We had some really nice folks apply to join our group.  The problem is they were too nice.  In the future there will come a time where you cannot help your fellow man without prior arrangements.  It seems alot of folks prepping are not willing to accept the notion that supplies are limited and you cannot just give them out.  That means to friends or family members who come calling.  And, the fact that no one is to know where the location is at all, seems to be a hard rule to accept for mothers who kids are off partying.  Our rules are strick.

So we are looking for two more families.  The begining qualification is that your family has at least one former Marine, Seal, Combat Corpsman or Airborne/Ranger in it who will be present at the location.  The service member must have seen combat and hold either a CIB or CAR.  Some MOS’s do not issue these ribbons so an award for valor or a purple heart will work also.

Our group is tight and strick.  We are all working for the same end game and are learning to have each others back.  So if you meet the first requirement and are looking for a like minded and equipped group of people drop us a line.  We are in northeast Oklahoma up close to the Kansas line in the woods.

Hey all been a member here for a while now and posted a couple of times under a different nickname

looking to network with other preppers.Ive had some success although the person im thinking of kind of petered out as a prepper and some failure which i wont go into except to say that “harsh” guy is right to be the way he is.

Little about me Ive been a prepper since I was a kid did not think of myself back then as one but I guess I was since at 14 I stashed food and tools ready for the inevitable nuclear destrution LOL after watching the movie The Day After

That movie realy freaked me out as a kid.

Well initially in my early prepper years I was a head for the hills and live of the land type of prepper when the first gulf war was in action I made caches of food and equipment in the mountains near a cave and water supply I knew of.

As Ive goten older and I hope wiser I have changed from a solo head for the hills type to a group type prepper and to what I now think of as a community type prepper.

If I can use the Rawles story patriots/triple ought as an example of a group prep situation and the books one second after or lucifers hammer as a community prep situation.

A solo prep and group prep I believe can all fall within a community prep if need be in fact i think they should. I have children now and i think being part of a community is the way to go.

So where im at at the moment you may ask Im prepped (never fully) I’m bugged out to a good location and am working hard at developing a sustainable food supply but im still basically solo although there is a good comunity about 10 miles away that I think could pull together during tshtf and that is why I picked this area . but at the moment its just a sleepy little town in rural America.

My skills and what I have to offer

First in tune with how my prepping developed im a wilderness survival expert it sounds romantic to some head to the hills and live of the land like a aboriginal but most would not succeed I’m one of very few who could. LOL and I know enough to know I’d rather not.

Second I have many skills which have developed from hobbys but would be a carreer back in the 1800,s like blacksmithing for example animal husbandry and farming for others many many more as well.

Third I have modern technical skills mechanics, electronics I can work with communications gear, alternate power systems, repair, modify or rebuild mechanical equipment.also some military expierience but have never seen any combat and would rather not.

What im lacking is a group and preferably one that has a doctor, dentist or vetrinarion. I have been trying to develop my own and the “Harsh” guy lol is right I’m a day late and a dollar short it takes time I don’t think I have to weed out the freeloaders and worse from a group situation.

Yeah right you woke up 2 months or 2 years ago lol what were you doing before then? I mean I’m happy to help anyone if I can but i’m first going to help those who can also help me if I need it.

So right at the moment I’m considering trying to join another group that has been building group and community longer than myself even if that means packing up again and redeveloping another property.

“Harsh” guy your deal would not work for me unless there was nearby cheap land I could purchase to develop my own thing as well I don’t believe in having to bug out to a retreat but rather develop my life and business around being bugged in already if you know what i mean. There is no way I could move all my stuff in a bug out situation and i’d feel a little awkward setting up solar panels and greenhouses etc on someone elses land even if it was allowed.

I’m also still working on my own local and if I can find 1 or 2 good people or couples to move in and develop nearby then this would be a great spot as well. I just dont think I have the time anymore.

Oh what i’m prepping for is most everything in general but financial disaster, peak oil and food scarcity/cost seem all on the horizon.

Interested in western states but not CA

Hi my name is Ben (same as my screen name I know) and I am 29. My wife (25yrs old) and I have two beautiful boys that are two and almost one.  I know it is corny and everybody says it but my life changed when I had my first child. You just never really think about their future until you hold them in your arms and see the trust in their eyes. Absolute trust and love. I have been researching for some time now and I am convinced that my children’s lives are going to be miserable if I do not do something….but not just anything. I think I am preaching to the choir here when I say that the few people I have confided in think I am all “gloom and doom,” but that just is not true. I think preppers are some of the most upbeat people out there because we have done the homework and do NOT shy away from the truth. We don’t hide our heads in the sand and say, “oh it’s just too much to bear.” We plan, organize, train and stay up late (usually the only time I get) and research a new way of life not because we want to but because not doing so will have terrible consequences. I do not do this because I am gleefully hoping for the end of society as some seem to but because if I do not my family will be completely unprepared for what is coming.

I am searching for couples and individuals who are serious about prep. Having a nice 10 acre place in east texas is great but what happens when 28 million people exit Houston and migrate north(the roads are wide all the way here)? What of Dallas? I am currently trying to develop a multiple scenario plan with successive backups. In my research I have found there are just too many variables in the system to know what is the best plan…so having a series of backup plans that build upon one another seems like the only way to go. It does no good to work for years just to watch it looted and burned. I would like to meet with people who have military, logistics, veterinary, and agricultural skills in order to put a comprehensive plan together. I am not against paying for quality information.

I would also like to start a group that will hopefully incorporate these skills along with others. I am a Baptist and know why, and I am looking for good tithe paying Christians(see Malachi 3:8). I want people who are willing to work and train in order to be able to transition their families to what is coming. That means money and sweat and time.  I want to build a community of people who are responsible. Don’t get me wrong I am all about charity but the best people are not charity. They need help and then in turn help you when you need it. Not just looking for young couples like us but definitely need plenty of them. My email is pressurehoss [at] gmail [dot] com or ben [at] pressurehoss [dot] com please put prepper in subject title so I can pick you out easily. No spammers please.

Ranch in South Eastern Montana (high desert) is looking for a live-in Ranch Foreman. Your job is to watch over the place and tend to the livestock when I am gone. You will be on your own several months each year. The chores here will only take an hour or so each day that I am absent. You will need to count the cows ( one day a week every week ) and every day that I am gone it will range from a few to over 100. You will also need to deal with trespassers. The other days that I am here you don’t need to do anything. This is a trade or barter arrangement. You get a 10 acre lot to use for your own desires and for RV parking.

The property is off-grid there is no power.

There is no sewer or water hookups.

You need to have your own RV.

You need to be able to fend for yourself. There is no pay, so you will need to have your own form of income.

You do NOT need ranch experience.

This could be a very long term situation for the right person.

You will need to be a person of good morals. (I will check your background).

Howdy,

Well I am looking to add a few members to a group. Im not talking about waiting till the shit hits the fan and then going out and trying to make it. Im talking about going out and cultivating the land, planting, and working the land before we have to go.

Hard work is a must, willing to get dirty, willing to stay on the land a couple weeks a month if able to get everything ready. I will be honest with you, there is no house on the land. I believe if you stay in one point when times are shitty you are asking for trouble. For that reason I will have a wall tent that will be used as shelter, that could sleep up to 5 ppl.

Not going to get into what supplies I have or dont have. Will discuss that at a later time if you contact me. Im not trying to be snobish or an asshole but I dont know you yet and not going to tell all my secrets lol. Leave me a message if ya like and I will get back in touch with you.

Our group’s preparations are really moving well. A few new preps include a brand new tractor with all the attachments, a new RV installed next to the shop, food processing area in the barn, new beehives, new large truck, coal fired boiler/furnace, wood shop, metal working shop, ammo reloading area in the shop, 2 greenhouses going up this summer (heated by coal fired boiler).  Things are moving along very well.

If you have a group in the NW Utah, SE Idaho, or NE Nevada region – lets talk.

I would like to establish the beginnings of a trade network now before communications become impossible.

Hello,

My husband and I are looking for like-minded people to share/discuss and hopefully find a common ground to own, land as a group, in Eastern Oregon or Western Idaho.  We’re looking to share at least 40 acres of land in these area’s and are more than willing to share the cost of everything.  My husband and I have many areas of expertise, but need others to not only purchase land with, but to utilize your skills that we don’t have.  Serious people only reply.

Many blessings,

Marty and Michele

This was a question posed to me by an individual in a conversation that I had with him today.  We are both bemoaning the fact that things look like they are headed south and the balloon looks like it could go up soon, but the question he posed was “Where do you go”?

As a husband and father this is becoming increasingly a question that is I don’t have an answer for.  My wife is knowledgable about gardening, livestock and group cooking.  I spent 12 yrs in the military both active and reserve and have worked in the health care field for the last 10 yrs.  We are Christians, love this country and have 3 wonderful kids.  We are looking for an established group that we can contribute to and have room for another family.  We are well along in our preps and are more than willing to discuss where we are at if and when the time comes.

Time may or may not be short, but I would prefer to be the wise man and prepares when he sees trouble coming than a fool who ignores it.  If you are interested in what my family and I have to offer please contact me at

Looking for other preppers in Northern, AZ to share land.  We have plenty of land and water.  Need to make preparations quickly.   Investment required…no it’s not free.

A general common Christian mindset.

NO MILITIA

We do NOT desire to overthrow any government.  We just want to survive with like minded responsible people.

If you are a serious inquirer, please respond to my email at SurviveWithFriends [at] gmail [dot] com

My wife and I are seeking other individuals, couples or families that are looking for a family that can and will to contribute to others that want to band together if the balloon goes up. This can be an established group or those seeking to form a group.

We are Christians, have been prepping for several years but shifted into high gear when my wife read “Patriots” a couple of years ago. We are well balanced in our preps, well acquainted with primitive camping, basic survival skills but are constantly continuing to build upon our basic knowledge and supplies.

I am ex-military, have worked in the medical field for the last 10 years, am raising livestock, chickens and have done a wee bit of blacksmithing.

My wife has raised livestock most of her life, done gardening, and is a mean cook with a Dutch oven or an open fire and worked as a cook in the local hospital.

We are looking in Northern Nevada and the surrounding states. We own the property where we live but since we are in the High Desert water is an issue, thus the need to relocate if things go south. We are not looking to overthrow the government, and as long as you bleed red blood we would be glad to speak with you.

If interested please e-mail me at partisancsa [at] gmail [dot] com

I’m presently located in the Las Vegas, Nevada area, but seeking to join or start a preparedness group in Northern Nevada, or Southern Idaho/Oregon.  I am presently affiliated with the military, but due to retire within two years and know few people who share my interest in sustainable living and survival readiness.
