We are starting a preparedness group in Arkansas. It is based off of a successful group in northern Arizona called the Yavapai County Preparedness Team.
We don’t collect any personal information. There are no dues, attendance or membership rosters. We rely on people like you to help us build out different teams (communications, medical, security…) and offer free classes and resources to the community.

I’ve got some unsetteling premonitions for the next 6 months or so, just trying my best to be prepared.

Southwestern Oregon Preppers (SWOP) will be holding its monthly meeting at Noon, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 87616 18th Street SE, Bandon, OR 97411. Bring a chair. We will be inside.
The main topic is “Preparedness Check Up”. We will start the year by evaluating how prepared we are for disasters. 2021 really tested our level of preparedness. Let’s share what we have learned and accomplished so we can be even better prepared in 2022.
SWOP meetings always start with a question and answer period before the main topic so all in attendance get a chance to participate.
This is a free public meeting to get to know fellow local preppers in southwestern Oregon counties and to exchange information and ideas. It is important for individuals to understand that they will be “on their own” in the event of a disaster and not depend on receiving outside help. We are a group of likeminded individuals that were formally in a group that was co-located but as life happens it has spread us across the country. We have people in Arizona, Idaho, Georgia, and Arkansas. Instead of letting the group fall we are using the distance as a strength, as well as an opportunity to grow. We are looking to expand our Nationwide network as well as meet people that may be local to other members. We are an extremely active group talking and supporting each other daily.

Hi, I’m new to prepping. Not super new but still relatively green to it. I’m north of kcmo by 24 minutes exactly. I am currently working on it to improve my storage, knowledge and skills.
