S/E Oklahoma seeking individual, couple or very small group

What I’m all about:

I’m 45 years old this year(wow) pass for and can outwork most 25 year olds, and live off-grid in much the same fashion I would if TSHTF. If the end of the world occurred tomorrow, I wouldn’t likely even know about it until I realized planes weren’t flying overhead anymore. I’ve been doing this in earnest now for about a decade, though the adventure started for me in the late 90’s.

While always under some form of construction/expansion, things are well enough in shape to survive virtually any eventuality- though it’s always in a state of chaos around here in my opinion, nothing is ever quite ‘finished’ and I’m always behind. I don’t really anticipate a calamity that can be marked and commemorated on some future calendar, instead I feel the continued decay of ethics, morality and dependencies/ entitlements have already put us square in the definition of living post-apocalypse. And all it’a likely to do from here is continue to degrade. I am not a ‘gun nut’ praying for something terrible to happen so I can live out my fantasies based on being ‘done wrong’ by the world. Unfortunately, too many of our ranks seem to lean that direction.

My life is without dependency on the outside world, economy, medical care, etc… I train pack/ draft animals, raise food, devise methods to contend with my needs based on what’s onhand, etc…

It’s very rural here, off the beaten track, but not so far from ‘town’ or resources to have to worry about having enough gas to go get gas. That said… I might make a trip to town 6 times a year.

It’s the frontier out here… riff-raff, cowboys and indians, other assorted ‘wild’ inhabitants… the weather is equally wild and so are the innumerable quantities of wildlife that we share the region with. I wouldn’t trade this spot for the world… I was very lucky to have found it and appreciated it’s potential so many years ago.

What I’m looking for:

I took all this on by myself and understand how difficult it is to even conceive of it as an individual. Ideally, I’d like to find a person or couple or even a very small group that was looking for an ideal place as I was when I located this one(I am not from here, I sought it out based on a long list of criteria). Learn what it’s all about and what you’re made of, and put yourself or yourselves in a secure position come what may. In a perfect world, ultimately take advantage of the numerous local and adjacent properties that come up for sale(often with owner financing and always very inexpensive) and set up permanantly on your own land, yet have still the community aspect we have created. If things were to ‘go South’ in the interim? Obviously, you’d already be in a very secure position.

My personal experience has lent me the opinion that ‘intentional communities’ are too flawed for my taste… and too prone to failure- causing everyone involved a very hard time. I think it’s important to ultimately ‘own’ the spot in which you end up.

I’m not concerned about ‘your skill set’ or what you might bring to the table. In my opinion, most of us under as well as over-estimate our own abilities, needs, etc… without having them put to the test. What I think you MUST have is:

Determination(even hard-headedness) to the point of never giving up
At least a desire if not the ability to see things for what they are, not as they ‘should be’
An interest or even a nostalgia for ‘the pioneers and settlers’ that came before us
A comprehension that attitude is as much an indicator of success or failure than anything

It doesn’t matter how much money you have or how much ‘stuff’ you’ve acquired. Everything you ‘need’ is in your head and heart. That said- you would need to be able to provide for yourself or do what’s necessary to do so at least for a few months or until you get your head around things.

I’m not interested in ‘making money’ off anyone. It would be essential that you help around here, and of course you would be helped as well. But I can’t ‘take care’ of anyone. You’ll have to be resolved to take care of yourself or yourselves.

As for children- I don’t entirely know the logistics of ‘big brother’ vs trying to raise a family ‘offgrid’. I know that homeschooling is an easier option that most places… It’s not a ‘deal breaker’… but it would require some extra investigation and discussion.

Criminal records, drug use(including pot) and alcoholism cannot be tolerated- occasional drinking doesn’t bother me, neither does smoking as long as you can provide your own tobacco or learn to grow it.

If you’re interested(and still reading)… feel free to contact me at *sustainabill at gee male dart calm*. Let’s set up some dialogue and see if we can find a mutually beneficial situation.

  1. Good luck out there.

I am new to this site and looking for a pepper group. I live in Edmond Oklahoma but grew up in the country and don’t know any preppers around here at all. Looking for a group to train with and to bounce ideas off of etc…

I live in the OKC metro area and have been trying for years to connect with other preppers. My husband and I are particularly interested in formalizing our group and networking with other groups. A friend told me about this site. We are prep skill instructors for our new business, Stone Haven LLC. We also just published a book on starting and maintaining a prep group, which we have dubbed a Survival Alliance – available on Amazon. It’s called Survival Alliances and we are on FB under the same name. We are committed to helping folks whether they are just getting started or ready to start an alliance. We truly believe these groups will be places of safety for those who are properly prepared. Message me here or on FB if I can help.

Mom, Grandma, and Granddaughter are looking for a prepper group in or around Guthrie, OK. We are new to all of this, having decided that enough was enough and we should probably have some kind of action plan to go on should SHTF. Not quite sure where to start, but we have decided our first priorities are to find a group (as we can’t exactly “Red Dawn” it, as my mother put it), and we need to start stocking up on food and water for what may be the inevitable.

I’m not quite sure what I could advertise as a “skill set” for us. My mother has worked reconning cars for years and is quite handy with most common car issues? I’m a medical biller with minimal actual surgical experience. I guess my post-apocalyptic life skill would be crocheting. Gotta have them blankets, scarfs, hats, stuffed animals etc lol.  Any and all help/tips/guidance would be much appreciated. I see the links on the left hand side of the site for guides and blogs, etc, and will be looking more into them very shortly. Must ask that any and all contact (for the time being) be solely online as privacy is precious these days, as is security and safety. Thank you so much to you who is reading this, drop a message if you can, and have a happy day.

Hi All!

We are blessed to live on our North East Texas 50+ acre homestead full-time, to spend every day molding and shaping it’s potential into reality. We are long time preppers, and as a family, we have decided that we would like to offer the opportunity for certain folks to become a part of our community.

We have discussed a few potential options for folks (BOL versus full-time community), and welcome discussion as everyone is at a different place in their life. In addition, we offer the opportunity to build camaraderie, to develop and enhance our sustainability skill-set…to become a community BEFORE an event. This won’t be for everyone – It will require background checks, initial public meetings, time and financial commitments, (not those 10k buy-in things, but if you want to put a building here, etc.)

Mister is a former Marine, law enforcement officer and firearms instructor with 25+yrs of experience. Missus is an IT Professional by day, and homestead supermom by night. College freshman and fifth grader are cheerful farm hands. Extended family includes Army Ranger and Trauma Nurse. Dogs, barn kitty, chickens, ducks…there are always animals! We are a typical Christian family (not a militia) that loves to laugh, hike, watch movies, etc. We work very hard, and we try to play just as hard! We also work to ensure our family and our farm are prepared for any eventuality. You can email us via info [at] txexitstrategy [dot] com or visit that site for more info.

I recently acquired 22 acres of land in Oklahoma for use as a BOL/ Prep compound.  As well all know this can not be done alone and therefore I am putting this out looking for members.

A little about myself I am an outdoorsman love to fish and hunt.  Married to a nurse and have two kids.

We are looking for the same.  Families that are looking to have a secure location to go when SHTF.  Where a group with various skills in multiple areas can band together for the common good of the group to ride out whatever the situation is.

The land as stated is close to 22 acres off the beaten path.  has an approximate 1/2 acre pond, rural water on site and will be set up, and power ready to be run and metered.  We all know that as soon as SHTF that those things will go.  Therefore the plan is to drill a well in the near future, build a covered recreation area to include a wood fired kitchen area, tables etc. , a wind or solar source, a community garden to supplement your own preps, community chickens and rabbits, a couple cows and a bull.

The land itself is treed pretty well, but there are open areas for gardening etc.  Our plan is to have  ten 3/4 acre membership lots at a rate of $125 a month.  This will entitle you a location you can begin to use to prep.  Build your own chicken coops and rabbit hutches, prep your soil for a garden, fence an area for a goat (no pigs) etc.  If you want to build a permanent structure it must be a barn with a small residence to meet county ordinances.  If you do build that becomes property of the compound.  You can pull up a 5th wheel, or a tiny house on wheels for short stays but this is not designed as a permanent residence until SHTF it is a BOL.  Come daily and work on your property that you are leasing if you want but no move ins.  That is not what this is designed for.

There will be a phone interview as well as a national background check done for criminal history.  No felons need apply, no child abusers, no teachers who have taken their 15 YO students and ran off with them.  I have kids and when (because it will happen) we need to bug out this will be a secure location and people for them to be around.

If you have thoughts of social injustice and getting back at the man, thoughts of overthrowing the government, terrorists, or are a nut job in general then no need to apply.  If you turn out to be a whack job or a nut, or can not hold your liquor or cant get along you will be asked to leave and take your preps with you with membership cancelled.

The monthly membership fee will be used among other things to get a well drilled, emergency seed bank for community use (encourage you to have your own as well) water storage areas, an additional larger pond, community rabbits and chickens, community gardens etc.

If there is more interest than the 1st 10 lots and there are more than 10 qualified I have an option to purchase the adjoining 80 acres for the next six months.

Now for more details

  1.  You are not here to freeload.  When SHTF come prepared with your own stuff and what you have been prepping on your spot.  Community resources for food will be limited to what can be grown
  2. Once SHTF everyone will have to pitch in to work the land, cook, clean, provide security etc for the group.  Again this is not a free ride everyone must contribute from each lot to the common good.  I understand not everyone is physically able to do everything and we can work for that but if you can not cut firewood you can wash dishes etc
  3. if you don’t like guns this is probably not the place for you.  I will have a gun and so will my wife and I assume since you are a prepper you will as well but just in case realize there will be people who own guns on the property
  4. Don’t come and think you can grow weed, illegal drugs, lay up drunk etc.  Not going to happen I will terminate your membership and send you packing.
  5. Don’t bring 40 people and expect to keep them on one lot.  When we talk on the phone and email I will need to know the number of people in your group when SHTF because this will impact everyone.
  6. 6.  Don’t expect to live here full time until SHTF.  Come and stay a few days in a tent or a 5th wheel.  Work your spot.  Go Home.  Come back a few days later.  This is a BOL not a residence until SHTF.  If you are close to the property come and work it every day and then go home.

If I have not scared you off please email me at needrecruits at yahoo dot com and I will email you a list of questions.  After that I will schedule a phone interview.  If I feel you are a good fit then I will direct you to a company for a complete background check for all adults you will be bringing.  This will be at your expense.  If you pass the background check you will be given the option to select a remaining 3/4 acre lot to start your preps.  There will be a $250 fee to select your lot.  This shows you are serious and not wasting my time and taking a spot from someone who is.  It also will go into the monthly lease fee fund and a portion will be used for upgrades to the property.

Payment will be via recurring paypal for your membership fee.

I look forward to talking with you

Family of five to ten looking to move with 90 to 120 days notice.

We are Christians.  My wife and I are retired and debt free with moderate monthly income (long as the economy lasts).  We are looking to live a self sustaining life style full time and move to join a group or help start one. By living a self-sustainable lifestyle before you can survive while thriving after any crises that may occur.  I am not looking for a place to hide and die but a permanent change in lifestyle to start getting off the grid as we can and then staying off the grid in a secure, secluded area.

I don’t want to work hard and dumb but simple and basic.  I have a lot of tools and equipment.  I hope to also get (or build) a saw mill and backhoe.

We have food, water filters, some weapons and ammo and a camper to live in till I can build a living structure.  Will be building some type of an earth structure from one of the following: Aircrete, CEB, (compressed earth block) Rammed Earth Bags and/or Adobe using the reactive home concept for a living structure (no mechanical heating or cooling) as taught by Bill Mollison long before Mike Reynolds’ Earth Ship concept ever came along.  I am thinking about build my own CEB press.  I also have the material to build a metal roof for a shop about 40’x40′ using earth walls from local soil.

I believe biofuel is one answer for renewable fuel and garbage scrap disposal.

Aquaponics is the only real answer to a year round renewable food source of meat and vegetables that I am aware of.  Built in a reactive greenhouse.

I have personal experience with compost toilets and have built two of them so far with good results.

We have a 2000 gal. rain catchment system in place at our current location.  Designed for a purification system that is renewable without going to the store for filters.  We built a furnace to make activated charcoal to use with sand (which is in abundance).  We have most of the purification system already assembled and ready for food grade 55 gal barrels.

If we join a group, we will need at least 1-2 acres to build and live on. We want to help others do the same, we also want to work on the common area preparing it for the group for when it all falls apart.

I am learning more every day and by no means have even scratched the surface so I want to learn all I can from others as well.

We have started converting our lights over to LED lighting, 12v rolls of strip lights in the old 120v light fixtures.  With changes in electrical consumption we have cut our usage in half over the last year getting ready to switch to solar and wind with battery storage.  I am leaving the old 120v system in place so I can take the new system with me.

I have a wife, two sons, (23 & 31) a daughter-in-law, daughter (26) with 3 year old son all in better than average health.  We also have friends who want to go with us as time will permit them to do so.

No medications required for any of us as we use essential oils, herbs and supplements and hopping to start grow a lot of what we will need.  I am looking forward to learning more on how to make tinctures and our own E oils.  As well as canned and fermented foods(the more of this the less refrigeration needed).   We are all on board for this.

We thought we had a place but it didn’t work out so we need to get out of the city.  We currently live in a highly populated area in an irrigated desert which is running out of water.  When power is gone, the water will be gone as will civil order.

I am a Army Vet 73 to 77 was an E5 Motor Sgt in Schweinfurt, Germany.

We have construction experience, electrical, plumbing, welding, machine, metal buildings & roofs (one retro fit roof the size of two foot ball fields 82′ up), mechanic of both gas and diesel, solar hot water system, semi truck driver, some reloading experience and equipment, certified gun smith (passed a test), canning experience with canning equipment and much more.

I have worked relief on two hurricanes working almost 30 days with each one.  So I have seen total destruction, civil disorder, rioting, marshal law with state troopers and national guard.  I’ve also seen families who were desperate and not prepared at all along with families who never missed a beat as they were ready for the natural disaster that hit.  I lived at a mission base 13 years ago with my oldest son for two months in the Amazon without power so we ate meat only when we had caught or killed it.

Eleven years ago we lived in a camper for one year on the road along the eastern coast from Niagara Falls, along the outer bank islands to Beaumont Texas then on to El Paso, down to Las Cruces, N.M, then from Sholo to Sahuarita, Arizona while homeschooling my two youngest.

We are debt free and looking to be in a group with christian values to connect with and then relocate to, which will not be a quick process as we will need to get to know each other (although time is short).  Don’t need decoder rings but security is an important point before we consider joining forces with others.  We are not looking for a group to join but one to be a part of to form friendship and trust where we cover each others back or 6 as some say.

We have served the Lord for 23 years full time without a paying full time job so we do not have a nest egg or 401K so if you are looking for someone with a lot of money look somewhere else.  If you would like a Godly relationship with a hard working and honest family then we are open to more communications as to how we could fit together.  We can support ourselves and are not looking for a free ride.

If you want to talk about someday maybe doing something then please find someone who is looking to someday maybe doing something to talk to.

If you are ready to act now, I have much more to share but will do so in a more private way.  So contact me then we can talk privately.  Email me and I will send you my phone number.

Two retired teachers, looking for a small acreage off the beaten track where we could build a little cabin. We almost bought 5 acres in between two families of preppers and across a dirt road from several others, but the sellers wouldn’t allow us to inspect the septic before closing, so we refused to sign the sales contract.

We would like to have neighbors who would band together and help each other when things go bad, which was what we thought we had found. If there was any other land out there for sale, we would buy it, but there isn’t.

We both hunt and fish, and my husband can butcher the animals. I have a lot of experience gardening, canning, dehydrating, and sewing.  We’ve stocked up on lots of things, including fabric, needles, patterns for simple tops and pants for all sizes, thread, elastic, etc., first aid supplies, linens, seeds, etc. We currently have a working farm that could go off grid at any time. Solar power, wells. ponds, gardens, livestock, but it is on a state highway with neighbors that might not be cooperative in a crisis.  We have decided that this place is not going to be safe for us, with no community of like-minded people nearby. If we weren’t on the highway, we would invite folks to come here, maybe sell off small portions of our place to other preppers, but that highway isn’t going to go away.

So if you know of somewhere we could build a BOL, we would like to hear about it, please.

I am a retired Navy vet that has been prepping 7 years.  I currently live in central Mississippi, moved here from Dallas, in an attempt to escape the big city in an economic crash.  I have determined that this location is unacceptable in a magnetic pole realignment scenario.  Need to be over 900′ above sea level.  The Ozarks seem to fit the requirements for both of these scenarios.

I am a young 65 year old that is still in good shape and I drive a ’97 F250HD that is in good shape as well.  Plan on purchasing a travel trailer prior to this move for my “home”.  I own over a years worth of freeze dried food, have a Berkey water filter, have a library of over 100 books and magazines related to off-grid living and just too many items for self sufficient living to list.

I am spiritual in that I believe in God but not attending a church.  I attempt to live a Christian life but fail all too often.  Willing to work with building/maintaining a garden, any construction projects or any other projects that need to be planned/worked.

I have worked in Naval aviation as a hydraulic tech, an Air Traffic Controller and finally in the field of computer operations and maintenance.  Since my retirement I have spent 15 years driving 18 wheelers nation wide.  I maintain my own vehicles, have rebuilt 2 automotive engines, have an adequate amount of mechanic tools and experience to get me through tough times.  Am working on several ideas to create off-grid DC power, 24/7/356, without relying on wind or solar to charge a large bank of batteries.

Reach me at wthms [at] mail [dot] com or PM me at this site. Thanks.

Visit our Christian prepper website to see our most visited article on why the Ozark mountains are the safest place on earth… according to several sciences and according to an open vision God gave Corrie ten Boom. Our articles give the founders testimony of his calling to this type of ministry. We are about to start making mini villages of mini homes. You might want to look into this.

Hello Ladies and Gents

I would like to thank so many people from this site for all the contacts and conversations we ,My son and I received we have been offline and off grid for a while. With time and a little patience this site has gained us a friend who we teamed up with and a group that we three are now members of and we all live together in our own places. We my son and I have been in groups for long term stays as we have said before in our other post [ Get us if you can ]… We do not know what happened but we were not able to get into our post or back on the site with our old profile. But we are back and we ask each of our friends who have contacted us to get back in touch you know who you are lol…As I was saying it is hard to wade through so many people and groups and find the real deals as most of us very well know, however after many months of looking for the right people and so many contacts even friends,, we made a choice and we could not be more happy with the real and down to earth people we have found.. For op sec reasons I will not be giving a list of we got this and we got that …

Now if you are looking for a group to bond with to become friends and maybe extended family we may be what you are looking for .. If you are real, , honest,,  true to yourself and others you may fit..  we are not a religious group we have many people with many different points of view and we respect each other and each others points of view…  We are open to all good people contact us by e mail if we like what we see and hear we will move to phone person to person talks and get to know each other.. we love ex mil alpha dogs and those who have a prepping and security mindset..  If you have skillsets you bring to the table and you wish for safety in likeminded numbers we may be your kind of crazy lol

My husband, myself and our 15 year old and 21 year old children are looking for another family in the Ouachita Mountains area to join and work towards having a secure and productive home that is entirely off grid and self-sufficient.  My husband and I were both raised with gardens, chickens, rabbits and he had cows.  He is disabled–not wheelchair or bed ridden–just arthritis and fibro myalgia–and has extensive knowledge of mechanics, carpentry and real life practical knowledge.  I am a good cook and well versed in home canning, gardening and also practical applications.  Our children are both respectful and disciplined and willing and able to work towards making a secure and comfortable life for everyone.  I have home schooled for the past 10 years and our daughter would also be able to home school other children.  We just want some folks like us–trying to make the best of such an uncertain future–wanting to live the way we were intended to.  To grow our own food–chop our wood, to be totally self sufficient and  stay away from the plans our government apparently has for us.  We are not particularly religious but have no problem with those who are.  We are clean, pleasant, intelligent, articulate and do not have any police record or any other sort of related problems.  We do have income and will be willing to share it with you and make all of us an even better place to call home.   We look forward to hearing from and meeting you soon.  Thanks so much for reading my meandering ad–I just don’t know what to say–we just want some good and decent people that we can be friends and hopefully like family to go through these next trying years with.  Thanks again..

Our family (of 4 possibly 5) is realizing that things are heading downhill fast and is looking for a likeminded community or small group to connect with.  We are praying to find someplace that can allow us in based on what an asset we can be and not the money we can bring.  We wish to relocate to Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, N. Nebraska, but preferably somewhere out West since it is less populated (Montana, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, North or South Dakota, Wyoming, and Utah). We are choosing not to remain in Tennessee. We know the SHTF soon and we want to take action now. So far we have a few books, some food, and our BOBs. We know time is short and are hoping to make this change soon. We also know that it will not be easy work and it will be WORK…..we understand that and wouldn’t expect it to be worth it if wasn’t.

Skills we can offer…. My husband is a mechanic (auto and diesel), knows flooring, carpentry, meat cutting, gardening, firearms, how to live  in the woods, hunting and fishing, self-defense, cooking (indoor and out), has been known to pull a MacGyver now and then, childcare, some medical, and he even does laundry. I can bring the basic household duties but I have also worked many jobs and can probably do it all except weld or drive a semi (but I haven’t tried those yet either), I have cleaned stalls, worked in food service, Amazon fulfillment, MANY factory jobs, office jobs at a college and a tax office, customer service positions, and traveled with a carnival a friend owns. My daughter just graduated in May 2016 and has her first real job at Amazon, but she has always helped my uncle at their place with the garden, grass cutting, and just following him around helping. My son is starting high school this year.

In all honesty, I’M SCARED AS HELL OF WHAT IS TO COME!!!!!!!! While I have no doubt that my husband will do whatever it takes to protect us, I know that we need more training and help to make it. We are not financially blessed by any means, he works a decent job, and I am unemployed, making the other income to the household an SSI check and child support. I am scared for my children and the future that is in front of them, especially my son. I see these things of how they want to “weed out” the weak, disabled, and elderly, and it frightens me as to what could happen to him. We have thought of all the options we have when the time comes and some of them frighten and hurt me. We currently live just outside of Chattanooga, but it is just over the mountain in our backyard, and those folks are going to be heading somewhere to try to survive….

We do not want to hide any information from you, so you ask and we will tell. We have no roots here, and have been looking to leave for a while, but have stayed just because it’s where my kids have always gone to school. I pray that things do not occur the way everyone is saying, but all the signs are pointing in that direction. I get bombarded with emails daily about the coming things and at times I am ready to give up because I just don’t know what to do. I know the Lord says to trust in Him in all things, but it is hard for me sometimes and that scares me too. You can reach us at live4future17[at]gmail[dot]com we look forward to hearing from you soon.

I have found about 26 acres that I think would make a great bug out location. I’m actively looking for 5-6 small family groups to band together and form a safe self-sustaining haven in case the worst does happen. Best case scenario….we have a great off grid spot to live or retire. If you’re interested or have any questions please let me know.

Hello, I just moved back to Arkansas. I am looking for a small group, minus any maniacal zealots who wants to be king personalities discluded.

I as anyone who has put much real thought have my own set of skills, as well as ideas. The reason I want a small groyo vs. a larger established group is not only security, but to avoid a obvious paper trail.

I made this wrap around email to avoid it being tracked back to me. Since I have in depth studied gov tactics, I am obviously careful.

I see a lot of the same post on different states, and suggest anything you want kept secret not to post. I see a lot of people posting about big farms, a lot of info. Trouble with big operations they are easy to track.

If anyone seriously interested in poofing when it goes down, I am free to talk. I am happy to share my ideas and may even give you insights on the overlooked. I am in Nwa, and probably going to set up a group. This way I can screen and avoid the obvious mistakes most tend to make..

Hi my partner and I , 27 & 32 along with 2 children: boy 10 girl 8 are new to prepping. We would like to find a group to join or form one ourselves. Willing to relocate to Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, or Colorado to form group…Age, sex, race, religion not important. We are not starting with much so we dont care what you have as long as you are willing to help get the things needed for our success at survival…land food water shelter defense medical… Would like to eventually be self sustaning in every form and fashion. We are looking to buy land in one of previous mentioned states. Hoping to find people willing to help get land so that we could get larger acres. Let’s start surviving together. Let’s talk.

Family of three maybe eight looking to move with 90 to 120 days notice.

We are Christians.  My wife and I are retired and debt free with moderate monthly income (long as the economy lasts).  We are looking to prep full time and move to join a group or help start a group. We are looking to live a self-sustainable lifestyle before and surviving while thriving after any crises that may occur.  I am not looking for a place to hide and die but a change in lifestyle to get off the grid as we can and then staying off the grid.  I don’t want to work hard and dumb but simple and basic.  I have my own tools and equipment.  I hope to get (or build) a saw mill and backhoe.  We have food, water filters, some weapons and ammo and a camper to live in till I could build a living structure.  Hoping to build some type of an earth structure from one of the following CEB, (compressed earth block) Rammed Earth Bags and/or Adobe using the Earth Ship concept of a reactive living structure (no mechanical heating or cooling).   I am hoping to build a CEB press.  I believe biofuel is an answer to renewable fuel and garbage scrap disposal.  I also believe aquaponics is the only real answer to a year round renewable food source.

If we join a group, we will need at least 1-2 acres to build and live on. We want to help others do the same, we also want to work on the common area preparing it for the group for when it all falls apart.  I am learning more every day and by no means have even scratched the surface so I want to learn from others as well.  We have started converting our lights over to LED lighting, 12v rolls of strip lights in the old 120v light fixtures.

I have the material to build the roof for a shop about 40’x40′ using earth walls from local soil.

I have a wife, two sons, (22 & 30) a daughter-in-law, daughter (24) with 2 year old son and a son-in-law all in better than average health. No medications required for any of us.  All are on board for this.  We thought we had a place but it didn’t work out so we need to get out of the city.  We currently live in an irrigated desert which is running out of water.  When power is gone, the water will be gone as will civil order.

I am a Nam Vet.

We have building experience, some electrical, plumbing, welding, machine, metal buildings & roofs, mechanic both gas and diesel, solar hot water system, semi truck driver, reloading experience and equipment, certified gun smith (passed a test), canning experience with canning equipment and more.

I have worked relief on two hurricanes working almost 30 days with each one.  So I have seen civil disorder, marshal law and rioting with families who were desperate and not prepared at all.  I’ve also seen families who never missed a beat as they were ready for the natural disaster that hit.  12 years ago I lived at a mission base with my oldest son for two months in the Amazon without power so we ate meat only when we had caught or killed it.

Ten years ago we lived in a camper for one year on the road along the eastern coast from Niagara Falls, to Beaumont Texas then on to El Paso, then down to Las Cruces, N.M, then from Sholo to Sahuarita, Arizona while homeschooling.

We are debt free and looking for a group with christian values to connect with and then relocate to, which will not be a quick process as we will need to get to know each other (although time is short).  Don’t need decoder rings but security is an important point before we consider joining forces with others.

We have served the Lord for 21 years full time without a paying full time job so we do not have a nest egg or 401K so if you are looking for a lot of money look somewhere else.  If you would like to explore a Godly relationship with a hard working and honest family then we are open to more communications.

If you want to talk about someday doing something then please find someone who is looking to someday do something to talk to.

If you are ready to act now, I have much more to share but will do so in a more private way.  So contact me then we can talk privately.  Email me and I will send you my phone number.

We are looking to find other like minded in our area. Also, hoping to move on the east side of Oklahoma off the grid.
We are family with almost 4 adult children and 4 younger ones.
We home school and half of us our vegan. (when the SHTF we would eat meat if it were the only food) But we do try to raise our family and leave  as little carbon footprint as possible. We would like people who are free thinkers, agnostic, atheist, Buddhist types.  (nothing against Christians, just not our cup of tea) We are hoping to build a very large green house to have produce year around and of course use humanure compost along side the rest of our compost.
Anyway, if anyone like minded is interested in finding a place to co habitat together, please let me know.
