If you are looking for a place to live with like-minded people . . .

We are relatively new here and just want to shout out to our fellow preppers who are close to northeast Georgia and the Chattahoochee National Forest.

We have started doing Self-Reliance/Prepper potlucks on the 1st and 3rd Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.  No charge, just bring a dish to share.  Educational presentations and networking with like-minded people.  We attract people from GA, NC, SC & TN – all are welcome!

Just email us at [email protected] for details and directions!

Hi, it’s Scott K. from Gibson County, TN.  I have a group here in west TN, a mutual assistance group that met for the first time in June of ’21. We are now around 21-22 people and we meet every month on a Saturday, for about 3-4 hours. We learn, teach, practice, brainstorm, eat, laugh, share our time, our experiences and comraderie.

We are holding a meet and greet on April 22, 2023, from 1000-1200 at the pavilion in Bradford City Park, Bradford, TN. Please join us, see what we are about, tell us a little about you, and let’s see if we have enough in common to proceed. We both need to feel if it’s a fit. Are our goals in line? do we have the same moral code? or the same desire to survive? You know something terribly wrong is going on or you wouldn’t be prepping. I know that we each have value, and something to teach, but I also know we have much to learn. Let’s share our knowledge and learn together.

Hello, my wife and I currently live in West Michigan, but after denying it for a couple years, are finally feeling the strong pull to the Ozarks. We don’t know anyone down there, and all I know is from YouTube Homesteaders (and Bear Independent/PJ viking prep) and reading on the internet. We’ve been praying heavily and are trusting His timing.

We are committed to stay in MI until next spring (work contract, small excavating company) but are really liking the sounds of MO. We figured we’d get a small place before we settle on to a homestead (probably from raw land, idk we’ll see where God leads us), so we can see the area and network. Things are getting expensive here, and land is scarce. Sounds cheaper and slowed down down there (I work 6 days a week and haven’t much to show for it, getting burnt out amd frustrated).

We have gardening and food preservation knowledge (we apartment-stead veggies and quail, LARGE garden out of town), have hunting/fishing hobbies, both handy (I’ve worked trades and done diesel tech on trucks/equipment), comfortable around firearms, etc. Looking to Homestead w/ intent to plug in to local community and prep/network for when things get sketchy. End-of-the-World eschatology aside, things are gonna be hairy here for a few years and MI doesn’t enable to live that way. We might have the greater family tribe follow us w/in a few years.

Weither there are current groups on here, or elsewhere please feel free to get in touch with us or would be grateful to get nuudged in the right direction.

Thanks,

–Nathan–

Hi to all,

Bob here, nearly 63 years old, hi to all, I own a couple of properties in WV but looking for a couple of remote acres with a good situation and lots of trees, Im sure to get something by mid Spring. Im particularly looking in Western and Southern West Virginia at the moment.  Id term myself mostly an organic gardener and into self sufficiency, I’m no hermit really, I love (select) people, but am not up for anybody’s politics or religion, just not into it. I AM looking for allies, friendlies, people who like to barter and trade. I currently have about 40 muscadine grape vines, 80 mulberries, 50 apricots and assorted other fruit trees ready to go onto my next property and I plan to make it home—add some rabbits, ducks and chickens, it portends to be a great little mini farm.  Wanna be my neighbor neighbor?  You might like knowing somebody with a couple acres of orchard for a buddy.  Not really a militarist but I am familiar with things like C E T M E S and old school 1911s, I like steel not plastic.  Im Peace loving and a real sweetheart but no pushover.  Former DOD. Would love to know individuals of good character, couples or even a young family with growing kids who might like to come out to “the farm” and get their eggs and vegies. I need too. I have advancing arthritis, still can do a good days work, but its not fun going it alone and I could use a little help here and there, particularly automotive advice and occasionally somebody to babysit my homestead so I can go on vacation once in awhile. Hit me up. Thanks for reading. Best of luck with your project and be safe. Bob

We are a couple on Camano Island. Prepping for a few years now. We’re not extreme in any one direction and not prepping for a full TEOTWAWKI situation. Prepping for a likely SHTF situation – pandemic surge, earthquake, job loss, economic shortages, etc. Investing in food storage using a dehydrator and a freeze dryer so we can also actually use the food now in every day life too, backup water for a few months, and a few small items for trade if needed. No guns or bullets – we won’t take a life to protect anything. It’s cool if you do though, we respect anyone’s legal right to this but we just personally choose not to take part in prepping weapons. Interested in a Facebook or neighborhood group to share ideas and plans.

Marylanders! Anyone here? Are there any groups? We are in Baltimore county, but anywhere in MD/DC is ok.

I’ve been trying to find either I individuals or groups of like-minded people to meet, share expeirence, learn from each other, and discuss our options in this craziness.

I’m not sure if we can write each other here, but I’m willing to put time into organizing a meeting – real or virtual to start a group.

If there IS a group and you see my post – please, do contact me. I have good skills and am sooo willing to come to know like-minded people.

Hello, I have been prepping for just over a decade now but have moved all over the USA and have not established any connections. I am now looking for an individual or group that is also preparing. I am no stranger to the outdoors

Greetings,
It is odd to me that this site does not have nearly the life and activity it once had, Considering the precarious times we are currently living in. Perhaps their is better places in which I am not privy to.           Regardless
I am a Red Blooded, God fearing, American Man. A widower, Lower mid 40s and father to adult children who save my Father in Heaven, My children are my greatest love and deepest joy.
I own a small piece of very rural land and have lived an off grid lifestyle for a number of years. I have raised some animals lived off of solar and a small hydro electric system, and hunted for food never sport. grown vegetables,
Fact of the matter is I can not stay awake 24/7 and care very little for the lone wolf idea. I am willing to join a group I can go where ever needs be. I have nothing holding me to this spot as beautiful as it is,
I have everything I need all of my own long term food in bulk, more than most less than supper preppers. or to make this shorter I have the things preppers should have. I need one commodity only where ever i land and that is water.
If your group has security teams or personal I hope and pray it does. I am willing to pass any test you have be it solo tactical Pistol or Rifle or fire teams tactical courses. no matter if it is outdoor obstacle course or indoor shooting house,  Note I will only do live fire exercises or fire team drills with those i have seen have the ability and skillsets to do so as i would not expect anyone to do with me until proven.
If their are any interested contact me at [email protected].

Hi all!  Just joined here, and its nice to see so many posts from fellow Minnesotans.  I haven’t read them all yet, but wanted to add mine to the forum and say hey.  My wife and I live about an hour SW of the Twin Cities metro in rural Sibley County, and are looking for others out in this area that are interested (or would be interested in moving out this way) in prepping, survival, gardening, farming and the like.

Feel free to reply here (or inbox me) to contact.  We are very open minded (yet cautious) people, but our hopes are that we can find others with synergy!  Looking forward to getting to know others!

Hi all – I’ve been prepping in earnest since the Y2K scare.  I’m an IT Consultant by day (that’s why Y2K freaked me out!) and am an advanced martial arts and self-defense instructor (20+ years).  From storing food, investing in water filtration, and building Faraday cages to store my electronics after an EMP to stockpiling guns & ammo, making my own medical-grade colloidal silver (anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal) and much more, I bring a lot to the table and have invested heavily over the past 20 years.  I have advanced survival skills, first aid skills (plus many first aid supplies), and firearms skills plus other skills – carpentry, electrical, farming, etc.  I have a huge survival library that I have built over the years including information on natural medicinal cures from plants, booby traps, fortification, etc.  I’ve also written several books on survival and self-defense myself.  I can teach others and I am capable of handling much that would be asked of me.

I’m looking for others who are serious about preparing, like-minded and willing to work and invest time and resources in our future together.

I’m looking for like-minded people to join me and my tight-knit group to weather this storm no matter how bad it gets and how long it takes.  We prepare JUST IN CASE.  Not preparing is not an option; that’s why we are in this group.

My biggest gap in my preps is a separate bugout location that can be made ready for long-term survival.  I have alternates, but would love to find someone with decent acreage / land that has one or more water sources on it (stream, lake, pond, well) than can be farmed and fortified.  I have the ability to filter many millions of gallons of water.

Reach out to me at mr.pjcpete @ g m a i l . c o m with the Subject “Prepper Groups Inquiry” if you want to touch base and see if we are a fit to move forward.

I am in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area. (NEPA)

Good luck prepping!

-Pete
