Southwestern Oregon Preppers (SWOP) will be holding a meeting at 5 PM on Friday, January 31, 2020 at the North Bend Public Library, 1800 Sherman Ave #3495, North Bend, OR 97459. PLEASE NOTE THE DAY OF WEEK AND TIME CHANGE.

The main topic is “Preparedness Checkup”. Let’s start the year off right by checking our preparedness status. You will do a series of desktop exercises to determine your level of preparedness. Different scenarios will be presented. Are you prepared?

SWOP meetings always start with a question and answer period before the main topic so all in attendance get a chance to participate.

This is a free public meeting to get to know fellow local preppers in southwestern Oregon counties and to exchange information and ideas. It is important for individuals to understand that they will be “on their own” in the event of a disaster and not depend on receiving outside help. Hi!

We are a Christian family (with military and LEO) with a homestead of just under 100 acres in NE Texas, approximately ~100 miles from Dallas-TX, Texarkana-AR, Shreveport-LA and Atoka-OK. Not a militia or compound.

We have house, barn, guest houses, storage buildings, etc. We have fall back communities, but want to build a strong community on our existing ranch. This would be an opportunity for individuals or families to prep on our land. This is not an offer to provide free housing or financial support for individuals or families. Beautiful property with creeks, ponds and 25+acres of pasture for gardens, fruit trees, woods, plenty of wild game and training range. Hidden hollow on dead end gravel county road. Interested people please contact txexit at protonmail.

Thank You!

Hello I’m Jason. I’m new to the ventura area and am looking for a group of like minded people/preppers to possible join. I’m 29, grew up in a God fearing home with a father who’s been preeping for as long as I can remember. I now am family man, professional carpenter, skilled shot, very athletic and knowledgable about survival skills. I believe I could be most beneficial to someone who like prepping but maybe is less skilled when in comes to security. I’m willing to trade my security skills for a mutual platonic friendship. There’s strength numbers. Keep in mind I have my own preps and means to provide for my family for a long time so I’d be non burdensome.

Hi folks. I’m looking for a prepper community in Montgomery county  TX.

I have plenty of knowledge and experience in many areas. Would like to find a small community to live in that has good values and like to work together with learning and teaching others in the community. My hobbies are cooking, fixing things, and organizing things. Yeah kinda odd. I love organizing stuff.

Well let me know if your in my area

Hello all, I’ve lived in Arizona about 5 years now from northern Michigan. 36 years old, single, never married, no kids. Even though I have no kids or partner, I’m very family orientated. I’ve always been an avid outdoorsman including much hunting and off grid camping. I’ve always been the type to be prepared for anything in all situations and have been trying to build up my supplies over the years. With cash and space being a little tight I haven’t built up a whole lot but I still believe I have a lot to offer a group. I work as a handyman here and built houses back in Michigan so I can fix or build just about anything and have been known to make things work with what is on hand. I feel these skills would come in very helpful to a group. If anyone is interested in know more about me and what I’ve currently gather, please let me know! It would be great to hear from like minded people.

We have 12 acres of pasture land/woods with deep well and acre pond looking for others to discuss originating a group or joining a group in Stanly County NC. We are former members of a group in NC that we felt was too far away to be practical. Needless to say we have stores of supplies and would ask that others have or start collecting same. We are committed Christians and seek other followers.

Hi there, I posted back in 2017 that i was putting my mother in a nursing home and i was looking for a group to join. Well, She is about to die so i will be ready to move in early spring

I have an idea of what is coming as i have studied Prophecy and Geopolitics for years, 59 Years old now and in relatively good health

God seems to be calling his people to the Ozarks area, Southern Mo and Northern AR Which is where i will hopefully end up, Although Northern Idaho seems to be an option as well

I have the usual collection of survival equipment, Some of which i know how to use and some i don’t, Too busy working.

I saw a response to Ann that said the most important thing in a group is “Trust” I am trustworthy and a Bible believing Christian, A simple man who just wants some peace and quiet. I do have three cats and they are non negotiable, My only family

You can contact me at [email protected] if you have any interest, Thanks and God Bless

I am interested to know if anyone in Arizona is interested in having a conversation as a means of getting acquainted. Topics I would encourage are general disaster preparedness, bug-out bags, logistics, skill bartering and so on. Those who are situated in ‘outlying areas’, meaning the non-Phoenix metro vicinity are preferable, at least to me. Even if you do reside in the Phoenix area let’s talk/text/email

Good day all,

Ron’s the name, glad to meet you. I am a 49yo family man in the Lewisville/ flower mound tx are. Looking to join or even start a small group of like minded individuals. I have prepped for only a couple of years. Want to be able to take care of my family best I can should disaster strike.

A little about me, family man, do believe jesus is my lord and savior, retired US Army combat arms soldier so very skilled in warfare and tactics. Very honorable family and we expect the same.

I guess my dream scenario would be to have a small group of friends that I could depend on should something bad happen, to have multiple locations within the group we could go or link up. To provide the same for other “friends. If this sounds like you I would love to chat and see if things click. My email is below so please feel free to write. Take care, god bless and be safe.

Hi Everyone, If 2019 was not enough, election year 2020 portends to be quite another raucous year.  Are y’all prepared for whatever comes our way.  Sending out a general notice to see if there’s interest in meeting.  Determine what we all or don’t have in common.  Stuff, yes.  Skills, that too.  And, oh ya, survival (is that too touchy of a subject?).  If so, maybe this is not for you.

Let’s kick the New Year off running.

Sincerely, Spurtwo.

Are you looking for a safe place when times get tough?
Do you take prepping seriously and are you willing to go all the way, holding nothing back?

I have been on this journey of preparing for anything for over 2 decades, so I take this very seriously and I don’t have time to be wasting it on those who are not willing to work hard and give their all.

I had originally been looking for a small community to join, but I have recently inherited a small parcel of land in the county which is suitable for a maximum number of 6 people. This land has been in my family for 3 generations now and this is the land I grew up on so it is very important to me that only the right people come here.
I am currently seeking a few good people who have the right mindset, and are willing to work towards a common goal of self sufficiency and self reliance, instead of relying on the State for your sustenance, If this is you, then I would like to speak with you.

I have already begun the work to turn both the front and back yards into a small food forest with fruit trees and bushes as well as nut trees and of course a nice variety of vegetables combined with lots of nice wild edibles. I also have a small field which will be capable of producing enough protein rich meat and eggs for everyone, but will need to build the infrastructure for that before putting any animals in there. All of this is possible but since I am just one man I am only able to do so much so fast. There are already 2 wells on the property and some basic fencing. There is electricity here but at some point I want to go completely solar.

While this small group of people will not be a religious based community so as not to alienate anyone, I will insist that those who come here will be of the right quality and character.
I will not insist that those who get involved live here on the land as long as they are willing to invest both time and resources to making this happen. If you plan to live on the land you will need to have enough of an income to be able to help pay the bills and feed yourself (unless you wish to eat as a group) as well as investing in resources to develop the land. If you don’t really have the time to come regularly and help make things happen but are willing to invest resources, that will still secure you a place here.

I do not have time for anyone who carries a lot of baggage or suffers from psychological disorders. I am in no way interested in dealing with anyone else’s drama. I have worked very hard to get rid of as much of the drama in my life as is possible, and now I insist that this remains a “Drama Free Zone”.

Initial interviews will be done over the phone, and you will be asked about everything from your political ideologies to “what if”. Anyone seriously considered will be required to come visit and spend a few days to a couple weeks if possible to see if this is really where you want to be. After that, if we decide that you will come here, there will be a probationary period where you will live here and participate in everything being done, before a final decision is made. I have been involved in helping to set up a few communities so I know what works and what doesn’t. As I said earlier I have been on this journey of preparing for anything for over 2 decades, so I take this very seriously.
If you’re interested, drop me a PM and leave your email address.

Let’s talk.

Southwestern Oregon Preppers (SWOP) will be holding a meeting at Noon on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Bandon Library, Sprague Room, 1204 11th St SW, Bandon, OR 97411.

The main topic is “SHAKE UP CALL”. There were 4 earthquakes that occurred recently in Port Orford. There is also an underwater volcano that is “waking up”. This isn’t about scaring you, it is about making you aware so you can prepare.

SWOP meetings always start with a question and answer period before the main topic so all in attendance get a chance to participate.

Hi, we’re look for a few new people to grow our group. I live on 120 acres west of tulsa Oklahoma by about 30-45. It has two ponds two wells and a couple of creeks on it. I’m looking for some like minded people to set up a shtf camp.  You must be willing to work prep and grow your own food. This isn’t a place to but a place to bug out. Our group is made up of three families with kids. So with that said we’re very picky about who we let in. If your interested please email at [email protected] with you basic info and we’ll go from there. Any medical training is a plus

Hi prepper’s Ive been a member here for about 10 years Ive tried looking to join a established group and previously tried to start a group with mixed success.Ive got my own place now and it is a good one IMO my nearest neighbors are good ones but are 3 miles away. A recent ladder slip that nearly broke my leg and just getting a little older in general have got me thinking again that I need a group closer or at the least a good neighbor.

What I am looking for is a small group that want to ready a BOL location in the high desert of NE Nevada near to where my location is I even have a couple 10 acres blocks I could sell for this if wanted. This group would use this location as a weekend getaway, hunting camp, training camp or just somewhere to get away and relax etc until such time as its needed for a BOL.

This area is good for many reasons and its not as dry and forbiding as most of the state Im pretty much at treeline so there is firewood available water table is relatively shallow 50-200 feet. several natural springs within a couple miles.

It Is very Isolated 45 minutes drive to nearest very small town about 2.5 hours to Elko and while at the moment this can be difficult when the place is needed for a BOL it could be perfect providing natural isolation that “tourists” are unlikely to stumble across.

Also job climate in Elko county is great if someone might be looking to move to the area.I could provide some suggestions if anyone is interested.

Apart from being a good neighbor who will look out for neighbors and friends I have many other skills that I could bring to the group blacksmithing, off grid power, small animal hunbandry, mechanical, reloading, ham and much more.

If anyone here is interested please reply here but here also

Hi, I am looking for a group to join or even just some friends like minded. I would consider myself a newbie to it all. I’ve been into it but just started about a year ago. I am moving back home to South Georgia, so anything in the state or close to my area would be great.

For those who want to know a little about me. I am trained Security Consultant/Officer I have been working in this field for 4 years. I am enrolling into EMT school this upcoming year. I am willing to teach what I know and learn in the fields I lack. For more information PM me.

Hello friends! I am somewhat new to the “prepper lifestyle” having only been really into it for a few years now. I still consider myself a newbie. My wife and I will probably be moving to rural eastern Kentucky next year and I’m looking for like-minded folks in or near Elliott County – either alone or part of an existing group – with whom to form a Mutual Assistance Group (MAG) or something similar. When the “S” hits the fan – however that might happen – those who are part of a group will fare better than the “lone wolves.” If you are in that area and want to chat, please post here.

I’m not much for social media and that sort of thing, but I thought I’d give this a try. I will try to check back often. Hopefully we can get a conversation started.

Hello, I am in Livingston TX. Just getting started with prepping on a budget. Born in 61. Not looking to be part of the insurrection, but I intend to be here after. Firepower is not my problem. Just getting started. I have a little food, water plan, etc. Divorced with adult kids. looking for like minded individuals. Not looking for supplies, looking for a network/community. Still Christian, but lost long ago. Conservative. Sound like a fit?
