Single dad, flight paramedic. Hoping to find family oriented group. I have advanced critical care knowledge/skills/supplies. No prior military, however I have trained with groups in the past and do carry great knowledge from those experiences.
New to Forum, not to Prepping

Right now are you thinking of a better place to be than where you are right now? Do you have lot’s of money or are you thinking of a tiny house or RV? We have a RV and a studio apartment available. Got the money and want to get into a acreage? We know people and places.
If things go badly we have a defendable 5 bedroom house with wood heat.
We are set up to support someone who adds their presence and willingness to help out. The nearby 35K population town has many varied job opportunities and education opportunities. From a private catholic university to several state university programs.
Or….if you are in what you consider commuting distance and want to set up a place for your gear and your survival in the worst case situation we can talk about that also.. see the first patriots book by james wesly rawls.
Small garden, 13 industrious chickens that are laying in the middle of winter fed only organics and lots of grasshoppers in the summer. Two freeze driers preserving anything and everything.
We have not taken the covid shot and prefer not to be living in close contact with those that have.

I’m new here, living in the Amarillo area. I’m looking for prepping/survival groups.
I have to wonder what makes people tick. Clearly you see something is wrong with our current state of affairs or you wouldn’t be prepping. Prepping, like everything else has a learning curve. You post that you are new, looking for advise, a group, or both. What holds you back from actually connecting? You ring the bell, the door is opened and you don’t respond. Is this a whim or passing thought? Or are you just testing the waters?
Greetings,

I’m not new to the idea of prepping at all, but I guess I never really expected to need to act on anything in my lifetime. With the current geopolitical climate, I’m afraid I may have waited too long. Anyway, I guess I just wanted to ask what yall think are the absolute essentials? I know to store food and water and medical supplies. A battery operated or hand crank radio. Other than that, what do yall think I should be getting together? I don’t have much money, but I can make it work. Also, are there any other preppers in the middle Tennessee area who might be interested in teaching me and maybe forming a group? I know how to grow some things and I have medical skills.
Hi There! Im in Chicago Loop and yep, if SHTF ever goes down, Im gonna have a bit of a hard time to say the leaselol. But that’s why we’re here, to be proactive. Looking to talk and connect with like minded people. If for nothing else, I am a good person to gather intel from what’s happening in the heart of the city. I’ve been preparing for 7 years and have some skills and knowledge. Keep the racist & radical to yourself please. I am looking for no agenda except surviving and thriving. Be well!
Hey yall, I’m 23m and currently trying to get set up for the sake of my family. I’m in the Citrus Heights area and looking to link up with anyone else in the area thats willing to work together. To put it frankly, things aren’t going well in this world. And I’m under no illusion that this is going to be pretty when it hits the fan. The quicker we can get rolling, the better so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a couple questions. You can get ahold of me at [email protected]
Thank you all, stay safe

Hi all,
Im a 35 yo girl from California and have wanted to leave California for a long time. Didn’t really know there was a resource like this for preppers. I’m not the most tech savvy, but I have off grid living experience, landscaping and gardening skills to offer. Always willing to work and learn new skills. Wanted to be a prepper since I was about 18, but life kinda of took a different turn. Really seems like the clock is ticking now, so let me know if anyone has any interest in someone like minded who values freedom as much as survival joining their group. Thanks.
Any Arizona preppers here?
Looking to connect to other preppers in Brazoria or Matagorda County. Hoping to find HAM radio operators, mechanics, medical personnel and farmers to learn from and share ideas for what may come. Always good to know who and where to go in an emergency. Email me at [email protected]

New post categories added
I’ve just added new categories you can post under.
So as well as finding preppers by location, I’m hoping these new categories will help you find preppers by their skill set.
So when you post, you will need to manually select your skill category if you want to take advantage of these changes.
You will also be able to search by skill category.
If I’ve omitted any skills, let me know.
To get the ball rolling, I will add the appropriate skillset cats to recent posts where the poster has posted as having them.
I will add the new categories to this post so you can see all I’ve added so far.
This is really about why we should let our guard down when it comes to reaching out and contacting other preppers. Mostly we can go about our days by ourselves, doing what we do, but there are those times when you got one of those jobs that’s just over the top, overwhelming, whatcha gonna do then? You have to have people. People that will help you get through it. But also people that you can trust. With your life. More importantly, that you trust with your families lives. Trust like this takes time, but at some point you are going to need some sort of assistance. OpSec is important, even more so with groups, so take it slow, ask your questions and get a feel for the group or its members. Remember that trust goes two ways, give a little, get a little. Build it but don’t take it for granted. You gotta sleep sometime. It’s good to know who’s got your back.
We are a small group in west TN that is looking for new members. If you are concerned with the state of the nation, the financial outlook for the future, or just want to be better prepared for a natural or weather related disaster; and you are willing and able to commit to at least 4 hours per month, we should talk. If you have any skills you could teach, or have a skill you need to learn, we should talk. The future is coming, ready or not, so lets get ready together.

Hey everyone. I’m a 29 year old Prepper located in Central New York. I’m looking for other Preppers in my area or surrounding areas who would be interested in networking, Sharing Ideas, Information, Learning new skills and etc.
I don’t own any land, but I’m honing my skills everyday. I’ve been a full-time prepper for the past 5 years or so, My specialty is Cooking and Gardening, I also have experience in Logistics and Inventory Management.
I can be reached at [email protected]
My family and I are just a little past the “beginner” phase of prepping. Covid pressed our skill set like it did for many people.
20+ years ago I got my FCC GROL License for work and never used it. Fast forward to Christmas 2022. I received a TH-9800D Transceiver. Since I got my license the names and some guidelines have changed. I’ve read through the FCC website and it’s not exactly clear. Bottom line, what can I do with this radio AND do I need a need a new license to operate this radio as a mobile station?
It’s my understanding that due to the power output and operating range no license is required.
Can someone please validate this for me?
Hello. My name is Beverly. I am an RN with almost 27 years of experience. I have 2 years worth of food. I keep buying more because that is what I do. I am willing to help out but I do not have the stamina I once had. I am smart. I am a person who has the fortitude to help when needed. I would say that I am most suited to a group who has young people who can do the heavy lifting. I am 62 years old. I am medical ready for most situations. I want to belong to a group who could use my skills and know that I am willing and able to help with anything that is asked. I live in the Broken Arrow area and would just like to know there is somewhere that would want my skills and respect that I would do what I could but it would not be like someone in thier prime.
Thank you for considering,
Beverly
I’m looking for a mutual assistance group/ prepper group within central maryland. I’m fairly new to prepping so any tips would be great.
Looking to meet up with other like minded individuals in the Chilliwack area. Prepping or Homesteading topics. Building contacts, maybe some bulk buys. Brainstorming, skill sharing that sort of thing.
Finally found a place on earth where I’m truly happy to live. Looking for others who also love it here and are realistic about how to maintain a peaceful, free way of life and protect it against those who keep wanting to “fix” what ain’t broken.
This nation was built by strong, freedom loving, independent men and women. I grew up knowing how to be one of them and I’m not about to let anyone change me now.
So where are the rest of you? I’ve come home and would love to get to know you. I have sooo many survival skills to share and many more to learn.

Hello,
I live and work in Orange County, CA and am looking for a friendly prepper group to learn and grow with. I would pefer to be as private about my information as possible on here, but these are my main prepper interests/hobbies:
•Healthy and/or allergen friendly bulk food storage/prep — baking and cooking as well.
•Water storage and distillation.
•Holistic Health(medicinal herbs, roots, etc).
•Gardening, sprouting, and hopefully soon growing microgreens.
Personality: Very quiet and conservative, but I like to learn and build. I also do not want to be around any sort of roudy alcohol, drug, or party-centric social environment.
Thankyou
